JIM, yes back in '96 DA TRIBE was in town and went to FENWAY and watched the game. Got good tix from a scalper for $10 each 1st base side. Love the ballpark. But still doesn't beat old TIGER STADIUM in Detroit, that one you were right on top of the players, exceptin center field.

Morning all, Well, I got through the night without a single call from a nurse or cardiologist, but woke early this morning to a call from the blood bank. The case is not getting started till 1pm, do they take delight in waking me up
Watching an episode of Trains and Locomotives on the History Channel. This one is on the SP Daylight.....what a pretty engine and consist. Interesting show, but mostly for the images of that G4 going at speed.
Hope to get home early and get some yard work done. Have to get the well pump started up for the irrigation system. At this rate, summer will be here soon and so will be the drought. I need to keep all the new trees watered, don't want to have them die and all that work be for naught.
I did get my latest CTT. Is that the Chief doing a victory lap by fishing in all those yankee streams. Sounds like it was a great victory for the GOOD GUYS in PA.
To keep this train related, does anyone have a K-line porter? I had mine fall apart at one time, and now the timing of the drive rods is off and I need to do some adjusting. Anyway, these are neat little engines, but I want it to run.
Have a great day,Dennis

Laz,
Fenway Park is even more beautiful today. It's all been redone. The new owners have done a magnificent job with it. Would loved to have visited Tiger Stadium.

Chuck,
My condolences on your loss. I can understand your pain as I have buried my share of "critters" as well. You can not help but get attached to them. Please let your wife know that both of you will be in my thoughts.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
My sympathies Chuck. A few years ago we were "adopted" by a stray Shnauzer, an older female. She quickly became part of the family, meeting everyone by the door and sitting up with us who couldn't sleep. We had been blessed for 6 months. She died of congestive heart failure. I had never been so broken up about a pet before. We buried her under her favorite tree.
My prayers to you and your wife. They're just like family.
I am the monster in your head...And I thought you'd learn by now, It seems you haven't yet.I am the venom in your skin --- Breaking Benjamin
Sorry for your loss, CHUCK.
Chuck - So sorry about Rocky. Pets are tough to lose. They become like family members. I had to put my quarterhorse down about 3 years ago and I'm still not over him! Will be thinking of you and your wife>
Lisa
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your pet. I know that pain all too well and I wish you and your wife better days ahead.
Thank You, everyone. I appreciate the messages you posted. Thank God, that I have Rocky's brother Woo. Yes, his name is Woo. He is from the same litter. He is 7 years old. He understands.
Next month, it will be a year since I was close to death and had surgery. I still think about all the messages and phone calls from you folks. You and your friendship mean the world to me. God bless all of you.
Chuck
Greetings All !!! Lots happened here in the past 4 days !!! Briefly to comment on some:
Reggie, Your daughter is beautiful, indeed you are blessed.
Chuck, Really sorry to hear of your loss! That really is tough!
<>For all you guys that had recommended me bringing my wife to York..... YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING !! Many problems.... Gotta keep her working here, requires to much luggage (return flight will be loaded with stuff), probably get lost, JUST A BAD IDEA !!! Thanks for the consideration, though.
(EDIT) Left out the most important reason she can't come.... Way to dangerous with all the wild grits that appear out of nowhere in that part of the country.
<> Congratulations on the Rebel blitz, seems like that was a well planned attack!
Going to put up my elevated track this weekend, will FINALLY be able to post some pictures, on Sunday.
Got to get busy, lots on the schedule today. Brought all the catalogs for Lionel and MTH to work today from 2005 forward. Need to see what I can put on a wish list for York, Maybe find a Series J Norfolk Western.
Hope EVERYONE has a great day.
Don
I am sorry for the loss of your dog. I can appreciate your sense of loss because I almost had to put my Golden Retriever Sue down about 2 weeks ago. Even though she got better I know it is only a matter of time.
The world would be a better place if people cared for each other the way dogs care for the people they grace their lives with.
Chuck, A double to what the others have said, after we had to put down our last pooch I told my wife NO MORE CRITTERS. I was a total basket case for awhile, much worse than my wife or daughter, after being downsized I was doing some cabinet making here at the house and he was with me almost 7/24.
Haven't been on to much lately, think the gherbil is getting tired of running in his wheel on this 10+ yr old computer. Guess it's about time to invest in a new one.
As for the "Grits Raid" by the Chief that has got to rank rite up there with Frank53's "Lionel Warehouse Gag".
Working on my Easter Run cars and I am looking for some ideas. I have a gondola, 52'r, with some large Easter Eggs in it. I had thought about using a "hair net" as a cargo net over the eggs but they are to fine. Anybody got any ideas ? Any ship modelers know of a source for cargo netting that could be used ?

Not to sound kinky, but would fishnet stockings do for cargo netting? If this ideas is good (has legs) can I get a picture of you purchasing them and the look on the checkout lady's face???

PS Chuck, sorry to hear of your loss. God bless you.
I am sorry to hear about Rocky, but at least his final resting place is in the beutiful hills of Southern Ohio. In a few weeks the dogwood will be in bloom. Tell the wife that Buckeye said that he is very sorry for your loss of Rocky.
I too keep track. It was three years last Feb 6th.

Chuck, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. They do become really close to you. You and your wife are in my thoughts.
Great news for me. So many grades back this week, and all were above 90. History project: 96. Art project: 95. English project: 91. I was so relieved. Now, I have more money to spend at York next weekend. Yes, you read correctly, York. I am going to the East Coast Large Scale Train Show. I am there with my club, and I will be leaving my house aroud 3 on Friday. It's at the same place, York Fairgrounds.
Chuck, sorry for your loss. Tough thing, we tend to love and get more love from such loyal animals. May God's peace and comfort come to you and your family.
On other serious notes, I was wonderring if anyone has an update on Elliot? I was thinking about the layout video and how much Elliot helped with my plans. Please pass along my best wishes.
Gotta run, but y'all take care,
Dennis
Chuck, I was very sorry to read of the death of your Rocky. I know it hurts to lose a beloved pet. I hope you and your wife's pain soon eases and you can enjoy the good memories of your dog.
Overcast this afternoon but weather channel doesn't give us much chance for rain. May do some yard work this afternoon.
Yes, I have ravished all the Yankee streams. Buckeye can't stand it.
Chuck, sorry about Rocky. Got one 16 1/2 and he may go any day. They are like kids and are really missed. Tell Mrs. Blueberry how sorry I am about the loss.
Off to go pickup new Laptop. Got aux harddrive for desktop. Download photos and videos into it. Now main computer flies again.

Thanks again guys and gal......for your comments. They have helped me today. I just took a walk with Woo. He seemed to stay closer to me. He usually wandered off on his own. That makes me feel better.
Good Night, my Friends.
We are back - kinda.
Our old box control board died, so new box here. But now we have to go back out of town again, so not much time.
Chuck - sorry to hear of your lost!

Been a busy day here, first chance to check in.
Take care,
Colin - Great job on the grades!!! Obviously you earned them, lots of hard work I'm sure. Hope to see you at York.
Wierd weather here today, high winds, some rain, trees blown over, hail here, and snow 20 miles north. Unusual !!!
Did more amputations tonight, 1 more car populated! Unfortunately 1 poor guy lost his head in all the excitment.
Good morning from New England!
What a beautiful day it was yesterday. Warm enough for shirt sleeves.
Chief, your tunnel portal is almost finished. Take good care of our 736. You know that some day, I'm going to make you an offer on that!
Have a great day, everyone. Especially you, Chuck!
