Nice, great pic guys, looks like you had a wonderful visit.  Love the sides of grits, but did they have cheese or just butter?  I prefer the cheese grits.

Good question.  Confused [%-)]  I thought the TAS with their new rules would be able to stop white paste heading north.  Confused [%-)]

I wonder if they really were grits????????  Sherwin Williams sells wallpaper paste and they have several stores in Harrisburg. Whistling [:-^]

Finally got to computer.  AfricanAmerican lady was on it for over 2 hours.  Had to call front desk and get them to ask her to leave.  She knew I wanted to use it 30 minutes after I got to hotel.  Some people.

Yanks, fell to the SOUTHERN grits.

Told you I had a way to beat the overwhelming numbers of Yanks.

Microwave popcorn time.  Good night.

Good evening everyone,

This week was a pain. I had 2 projects due on Friday, and needless to say, I wasn't the happiest person the past few days. Anyway, I just got in from celebrating my mom's bday. We had a nice dinner, but the bill..........

It looks like you guys had a good time. I wish I had my license so I could have met you all out there.

Also, I just noticed that the TCA meet is close to the weekend that I am heading to the East Coast Large Scale Train Show, which is next weekend. I'll be sure to leave a mess behind for you guysWink [;)]

And why not come to TCA York?

Thanks BRENT for saving me from those awful tasting things, YUK did I say that already?  Like FIFE said "I think I can use this stuff to spackle my walls".  Paste in grade school tasted better.  Even with the HOT sauce I had with my wing didn't kill that taste.

Hello ya all, From a mild, cloudy Stockport, looks like we've seen the last gritter for this winter.

My niece (38smoker) had a heart attack last week, is making a good recovery at home, she was going to quit when the total ban on smoking in enclosed public spaces comes in July 1st. I have a smoking related disease (arterial degeneration) caused by years of passive smoking. Because our pubs permit it my survey of same is being carried out at great personal risk, however it is worth it due to the wonderful ales I am able to sample.

Because I am a busy person, even though retired (I don't know how I found time for work) I can't get enough time on ERNI to keep up with the posts. Dennis, Jim, Chief apologies for losing track (no pun intended)

Got Smiley back.

Got to go now (yawn!), just put clocks forwards and I'm missing my beauty sleep.

Morning all, 11:13 BST here in a sunny Peterborough. Hope your right John B, and the gritters have gone in to hibernation till next winterSmile [:)]. Hope your niece will be OK, she is only 6 years older than me.

Been very busy with work. Working away, so no computerSigh [sigh]. Still increasing the funds available for gamesroom/garage constructionSmile [:)]

UPS have a train parcel to deliver to us on Monday (Powermaster and Fastrack). I don't like getting stuff sent by UPS as they charge more extra "handling" charges than any of the other forms of parcel delivery from the US to UK. Are they the same with internal stuff within the US ??

Hope you all have a good Sunday

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a foggy 57 degrees. Going up to 70 today, with , maybe, a chance of sunshine.

Today, we are taking it easy. Yesterday was hectic. Company arrived and young 4 year old was very active. Kept us all busy. Nice visit. I will run trains this afternoon. One of the boys is still not feeling good.  Took him to Vet , for another shot. Coughing better, but will only drink water. This will take a while to clear up.

I'm glad everyone had a nice lunch with Chief. That was probably just lumpy Cream of Wheat. Glad you guys didn't eat it.

Dining Car has arrived. " Points west " must be sleeping late. Breakfast.

Y'all have a great Sunday.

Morning All,

Looks like you all had a good time with lunch.  Buckeye your questionair is a hoot, made my morning.

Was in class all day Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Class over now, just polish on exegisis paper (instructor requires references in MLA Dead [xx(]) and final exam.  Scheduled to work 60 hours this week, so I'll start the exam when I'm off.

I installed the sawmill on the layout and works great.  There is a picture over in photo fun if you're interested.  I'm thinking of some detail work to add and I'd love some suggestions.

Reggie, you little girl is real cute!  She will be a heartbreaker!!

Take care and God Bless

Morning all.  Had to wait again this AM.  Poor lady is separated from her hubby and he has filed for divorce [she will not sign, over heard while she was talking on cell phone and sitting at computer].  She and her kids living in Holiday Inn Express.  I babysat her kids ]about 12, 6 and 3] last night while waiting for her to get off of computer.  I colored and etc with them.  HUMMM.

Been laughing hard over the GRITS raid.  Everyone at Bass Pro in Marine was laughing all evening.  Feel so good about the "win", I have let the sun come out and shine.Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]

Really had a great time.  All the guys were so great and took me to see the REAL railroad [NS]. Big Smile [:D]

Off to store and then flight home.  God bless all.

Mornin folks!

Happy B-Day [bday]ATSJer!  One year older and one train richer?

I tasted the grits to see if they were any better than what I remembered... verdict... NO!

Chief, that is what you get for not bringing your own laptop and jacking into the hotel network... Oh yeah Motel 6 doesn't have highspeed internet... Smile [:)] but at least they'll leave the lights on... guess they don't have light switches!

John,
What do you say to meeting up some Saturday and putting that new camera through it's motions!?!?

BTW - the grammar may be a bit better since the wife is being nebbie right now!  So I guess I have to behave...

Chief, glad the raid went wellSmile,Wink, & Grin [swg]Bow [bow]  The yanks will never be the same.  It sounds like Y'all had a good time.  The bridge going over the Susquehanna River is on a History Channel program on Trains and the great feats of engineering that came about.  It really is an impressive structure.

Reggie, she is a cutie.  Before you know it, she will have the Princess complex as my 2yo daughter has.  You will have to pull some extra runs just to keep her in clothes!

That #773 set looks great!  As to the ugly drivers, could be a candidate for Gun Blue?  I think that will give you the color you want without harming the magnatraction.

Wife wanted to get some trees, so yesterday, we headed to the nursery and with over $400 in trees and another $200 in planting stuff, I had my day arranged for me.  I worked until almost 10pm planting.  The tractor needs an auger for future such projects.  Some of the Georgia clay can make digging by shovel a hard job.  I have caloused hands.

Well, today we head to the amusement park.  I hope y'all have a great week

Morning all!

Cool and foggy in the great metropolis of Gormley right now.  This is usually the type of weather when deer can be spotted roaming the property.  I haven't seen any so far nor have I seen any more turkeys...unless you count the ones in the pictures from yesterdays dinner Wink [;)]

I agree with Lisa....looks like a lot of Sweet Tea being downed at that table.  Or is that a watered down version of Yankee Guinness?   No matter....Chief must have been in his glory.  Grits, NS and CN all in one day!  Love those pics of the viaduct over the mighty susquehana!

Gonna run some trains today.  The 773 will get everything I can throw at it to see just how much it can pull.

Dennis,

That's the best option yet.  Much better than painting and having it chip off later.  Just not sure if I'm brave enough to do this extensive a mod on a new engine, which I suppose would require removing the driver sets from the chassis to accomplish properly.  My drawbar mod was made by fabricating a new shorter one out of aluminum so the original can be replaced if desired.

ATSJER Happy B-Day <img src=" border="0" width="81" height="26" />

Going to go see 300 after a quick stop at White Castle Dinner [dinner]  Was going to work on my basement today, but now this important job came up and I guess I'll have to sacrifice.  Already had pancakes for breakfast so I'm at about 10 points for the day and with lunch I'll probably be at 20.  Wifey wants to have a STEAK dinner - luckily it's the start of a new week, so I can use some of my extra free points....  Got to loose some weight though.  I'm praying for those who overindulged in grits - this too shall pass, quickly!

ATSJer - Happy B-Day [bday]

Spent all day yesterday doing the lawn - today is laying back to recover. NASCAR at Bristol today! Our good frineds that live up that way say someone has to die for an "outsider" to get tickets to one of the Bristol races.

Clouding up here. They say rain is coming (as they have been saying for the past week now).

Hit 80 yesterday. Should be a bit higher to day.

Good to see the boys from the UK check in.

Fried up the bass Chef [C=:-)] we caught last weekend for dinner last night - yum! Dinner [dinner]

Have a great day all!

Good afternoon!

Chief, nice job of infiltration! The grits were a nice touch!

ATSJer - Happy Birthday! The tubular track looks good on your layout - enjoy!

Had the kids home this weekend, always fun. They head back to school this afternoon, so it will be considerably quieter around here. Youngest daughter gets her driver's permit tomorrow. Time moves relentlessly on.
