We missed the dance contest, but got to see some of the piping contest, the games (caber toss, sheaves, etc), and some livestock - including Heeland Coos John Baker! Got some bangers and chips for lunch. They had scotch eggs, but I'm not much on eggs. They had haggis, but nobody would go in on one with me and I didn't want to try to eat a whole one on my own! Oh well, we had some fun and spent some $$$. Picked up a Corries CD and some cookies. Just got done playing Medal of Honor with my son - one on one he kicked my ()() pretty bad!!! I think one round was 10 to 0! Every time my guy respawned - BLAM! He'd get me with the bazooka! That's my boy!
Evening everyone,
Brutus, is it the new one, Medal of Honor: Airborne? I finished beating the game a yesterday. I was getting frustrated so I left my 360 alone and beat a lot of levels yesterday. The last level took so long for me to finish.
Hey Brutus,
Perry does have a phantom running on his rails. Has had a few pictures that he posted a while back. If you are interested, The Train-Station has a set of the passenger cars for the phantom in the Columbus Day specials that are going on this weekend. I think it is only one set, so if you are interested, check them out.
Chief, can I have that Gold Hudson? I know I will have a good place to honor such a fine specimen. Anyway, not much going on. Heading to bed. I am still on call and hopefully they will leave me alone tomorrow as I am on camera for morning and evening church. May everyone be blessed

I will pay the tab for the limo that waited at the airport for his arrival. Can you take care of the extra meal costs? I guess we will need to return his gift to the train store for a refund. I really thought he would show, so we could give him the Gold Lionel Hudson as a gift. I bet if we had invited Laz, Jim, Don, Doug, Colin, Steve, John, Roy, Lisa, Dennis and many others to be our honored guest at a OTTS meeting they would be a path to our door to get the Gold Lionel Hudson.

Yes, I took care of the extra meal costs and rolled up the red carpet. I suggest we give his gift to someone else. I even ordered Chief's favorite dish for lunch........Grits served in a galvanized bucket. He miss it.
Next year we should invite a Northern person. I had a phone message from Chief, when I got home. He said he missed his chartered plane and was racing north on I-77. Maybe he wound up in an Ohio jail. The Jailer probably posted his Bail, just to get rid of him.
And with that..........Good Night.

Hey thanks! I'm gonna look this up! Looks like something that would be running on Perry's new Sci Fi layout he is building?! I didn't get back into trains until 2004/2005 and then I think it was HO until 2005, so missed that one.
CSXect, I had a Farrah poster too! My taste in women has always tended to the curvy too. Hey, for a few years there I guess I had a new favorite for every month of the year!

Good evening all,
IIABSDISEI with temps in the 80s. I reffed a youth game today which was really good. The visitors won 2-1, but it was well played on both sides. We had a birthday dinner at Frisch's and cake and ice cream at his place. It was a very nice day. I had the usual fare on the dining car from "Points East". Friday night when I got home I had a nice surprise. The December issue of CTT was waiting for me as a suggestion tip of mine was published. I hope everyone has a nice day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana

Not sure what the COSG layout is but they sure have an enthusiastic S club in Cleveland !! These guys had a really cute S-speeder going around too !! The 2 big modular layouts were about 30 or more feet long !!

I am Missouri Tiger fan, but also follow Wisconsin (where I was born and raised) and Purdue (my son graduated in 2002). Going to the KC Chiefs game Sunday in a complimentary suite! Free food, beverages and parking! Getting to be that time of year for more train activities. But first I have to get some fishing in. Going trout fishing next week. Hope all is well with you. Prayers here for the health of all.
Mickey, you have a very bright son with an incredible future.

Sounds like a great camping trip, Lisa.
Interrupted my tree-felling to take the youngest 'fishing' this afternoon. He came out ready to go with an old aquarium net and a bag of those goldfish pretzels for bait. Walked down to the retention pond for a hour. It was near 90 - I almost fell asleep. He didn't want to leave without a fish. Gotta get this kid a cane pole and bobber.

That was really a low blow Chief !! I hope you only saw CSX trains all the way home !! I just got back from the train show, only saw N & S trains going & coming home !! The Chief's fault !!
Well, I had a great time walking around with Chuck at the show !! We ran into Broadythecableguy & his Dad !! They both have trains !! Then we ran into Jason that posts here & works where Chuck retired from at GM !! All great guys to talk to !! Now the rest of the gang was hungry I guess !! Ha !! I didn't catch up with them for some reason !!
Well, hope everyone had a nice day, boy, all I did was sweat today !!
Oh, my GPS worked flawlessly too !! I didn't get lost even once !!
Warm and muggy hre in the northern part of NC. Started out cloudy with a fine mist that did NOT develop into any much needed rain. Wish you guys in the SUNSHINE state would quit hogging it all!
Hope all the Mom's get well soon! Prayers for all who need them.
Busy getting ready for a long awaited camping trip to Murrells Inlet, SC. Will try to bring home some fish for those who'd like them. I'll fry 'em up and have some hushpuppies and cole slaw for the dining car's evening run in about a week or so.
Fife - Wish I was headed to the mountains instead of the coast - Weather forecast looks like it's going to be warm on the coast!
Chief - congrats on your winning$$$$$. You'll have to head to Burlington and check out that train shop.
