Buckeye, good luck with the Buckeyes.  I have no dog in the fight other than Oregon is a West Coast team.  Ought to be a good contest though.

How do you add a quote from a previous post to your own?  I have tried highlighting the quote and clicking on  "Add quote to your post" but that does not work.

Thanks, Ray

Win or lose it's just a game. I will always be a Buckeye fan.

Yeah it is.

Got the Menards Camaraderie Bar & Grill today before I could not and did a little Kit bashing, I  have changed the name to Track Side Bar & Grill. Asked wifey if she liked the spot I picked before I drilled the hole through the table for the power feed line. She loves it and when I get it done I will show you guys some pictures. I think it is placed in a good spot. Next to the tracks and out of reach of the grand-kids. Still seems like not much for $74.00 but Sandra liked it and it goes well where I have it so WTH? It is cool!

Yesterday I chained up the Gator so I can drive in the 8" or so of snow we have, much more and it won't matter because it will belly out the bottom pan. But with a full load of wood it does good and I have cut the path from the wood shed to the house so I can re-stock the porch wood pile. Plowed out again and they are not calling for anymore snow for the rest of the week but the temps will suck. Heating with wood now.

John, I think it is a good thing for John's-son to start at a town level these days. Not as big a target if you are someplace that is off the radar and a good place to cut your teeth. I bet he got more training than Bernard "Barney" Milton Fife!!  Smile

Anyway,,,,,later!

Evening all!

Well so far it appears the economy of Buckeyeland will stay stable.

John - great news on sons graduation! Congrats! We'll need him at York to protect the ice cream!

Ray - go to the post you wish to quote and use the Reply button in that post. You will then see that post above your post editing box. Hit "add quote to your post" button. You will see the entire box of the persons post inbetween the begin/end quote delineaters in your editing box/window. You can edit the quote as long as you have the begin quote and end quote control text around the text you want.

[_quote user="xxxx"_]at the beginning and [_/quote_] at the end.

Note I used '_' just after the open '[' and before the close ']' so you can see the control text or it would not show up here. Omit the '_'

You will see this control text in your editing window but after you post it will show up in the familiar quote box.

Regards, Roy

Hi GUYZ,

18 here tis mornin.  WOW what a game last nite.  That OHIO team needs to celebrate with a blast from the SNO HI O Cannon!!!!  Well done boys!

SIRJAMES sorry you missed the meet.  WOW nice set up at that house.

HUDSONJOHN, I have been using those cradles alot lately.  One for doing the lube and oiling and the other if I have to open up a engine.  They do work real good.  I'm partial to the raspberry ice cream.  But they are all good, so a little of this and a little of that....

Stay frosty my friends,

Aloha. Grey and cold but not too bad in the way of temps. 8' x 20' is a nice show layout, Roy. I like the Menards offerings this year too, Kev.

This is a BUCKEYE DAY for sure. All season long the Bucks played their best in the second half. Laz All them flavors are good home made ice cream. We shall sample each come April. S.J.

Morning all.  Rainy and big clouds.  RDU just launched a commercial jet low over Rolesville.  Unusual.  Made Wifey [Yorkie start his protective barking].

Winter storm watch.  May get some light icing during the night and early morning.  Ground too warm but shrubs and trees may get some.  Big deal is bridges and overpasses.

The only good Buckeye is the chocolate candy with the peanut butter center.  No, congrats.

Errands and then some Train Box.

Cold but lots of sun so It does not feel 13 out there. -1 for tonight. Starting to get used to it.

Well here is the finished Menards Camaraderie Bar & Grill. I did a little Kit bashing to re-name it TrackSide added some weathering, and figures. Wink

The flashing beer sign would be much better if it was for Miller beer. I am not a Bud fan.

Good Evening!

My son's graduation went well today, a little on the long side (you know how those politicians can talk) so tomorrow he starts with the on the job training. Wood stove is cranking the heat out, temps are heading in the teens, so it is relaxing with Doray by the stove tonight.

Kev: I like the Trackside Bar and Grill. Cool!

Roy: Enjoy the show in Plano.

Laz: Doray will have me make a list of the flavors you guys want to try closer to the meet.

SJ: Of course we are having Lemon!

Buckeye: Congrats on your team's win!

Enjoy the Evening!

Good evening all,

Congrats to Buckeye!  With IU having won many soccer titles, I can understand his celebration.  Enjoy the moment.   Work was busy and good.  Weather was sunny on walk at noon, which made it nice.  Got the tree down and upstairs along with a lot of other items. Will wait until warmer (maybe this weekend) to put everything away.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Good evening all,

I wasn't able to watch the game last night, but I kept up with it via the internet.  OSU looked good all game and I'm glad they won; since I am a PSU fan I cheered for the Big Ten.  I had a short one-mile run this morning as I woke up somewhat late.  It was about 15 degrees when I went for the run and it felt good.  The workday went by quickly and I came home to chicken fajitas for dinner.  It's time for bed now.

Good night all.  Yankees foiled.  Presip went north.  Only got a little misting before freezing.  Only bad part is Wifey shut down her office for Wed [now today].  I will have to "babysit" as she will be home and want to go places.

Dennis, will checkout Gun Brokers.  Don't go there often.  Too tempting.  About like OGR Buy and Sale.

Sleep tight.

Mornin' Fellas

Hoping to get a call today that the new kitchen table, chairs, and island stools are in. Will be nice to put the finishing touches on the kitchen project!

Replaced the brakes on the BMW on Sunday... found one tire looks near new, the other three have very little tread left in the middle and on the inside there is none and the rubber is near down to the steel belts! Appointment scheduled for Saturday to address that issue.

Still need to get the train garden removed from the sunroom. Hope to get that done this evening, then get started with the main train garden wiring. Would like to have that done by the end of February so I can start the new Christmas train garden so I can pick up anything I need at the April York Meet.

Hope everyone is well.

Aloha. Ten degrees. Looks like sun will win out. Congrats on your son's graduation, John. The Bears' search for a new coach rolls on, Laz. . .  At lunch I've been perusing old photos of the myriad downtown stations that used to be in Chicago. It's so different now even though the tracks are still in place in some of the locations.

Good evening all,

A very good day.  Work went well.  Busy but quiet day.  Good walk at noon.  Drive in and home was good, no issues.   Talked to Lucas and will go see him Sunday.   Played indoor soccer and did well there.   Even made some outside foot passes, not my strong point.   Got Christmas boxes in attic off the floor.  Wife had busy day subbing as well.  Weather was sunny so it was about as good as you can get for January.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Sunny most of today, with temperatures just over freezing.  Supposed to be in the 50's this weekend.

I've noticed my ugly old '72 Chevy pick up is making a damp spot on the driveway that smells like gas.  It is under the right front corner of the engine, so it is probably a fuel pump or a fuel line.  This weekend is supposed to be warm enough that crawling under the truck to fix the drip won't be too bad.

I found out today that I've been voluntered to set up a layout in a local train show in April.  I've talked about it, but this is the first that I've had any conformation.  Sad part is, it came up in a casual conversation, like I should have already known.

I'm going to try to set something up with a stock yard/cattle car sort of theme.  I've got a good collection of the ACF 40 ton stock cars.  Also wating in my project pile is a 3656 stock car needing refurbishment.  I'll get that up and running, and maybe even get a couple of extra 3656 cars before then.  Since the time frame of the event that is sponsering the train show is just before the Civil War (OK, Chief, 'the war of nawthern aggression'), maybe this will be the time to acquire a General' type locomotive.

About all for now.
