Good morning February!!!
WOW !!!!!!!!! It is 37 degrees in Buckeyeland this morning and it is only 27 degrees in Roseyville! I feel the heat! February is starting off great!
Glad to see Don, Jon and Doug are on the mend.

Good Morning from Blueberryhill..........
Good Morning, Joe......You did a good job, starting the Feb. Coffee Pot.
It is 40 degrees. Snow is melting. Going up to 50 today with sunshine.
Today is a busy day. I have a few errands to run after the usual chores. I will be busy until lunch. Then a nap.
Dining car has Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Saturday.
Chuck
Thanks Joe. Perfect job. Really forgot that it was Feb. 1 when I posted last night.
Bet Buckeyeland will not be in the 60's. We may have [guess what?] rain later. Especially Tues. That is good. Wash all the salt and brine away. That is Yankee fertilizer. That is why the South is so much greener. We usually don't have that stuff.
Not much happening today. May install new TIU. Old one years old and giving a few strange things.
Glad everyone is on the mend. Sounds like Mr. Buckeye has a rehab program all set up for Mrs. Buckeye.
Charlie and Sir J, will ship you some sunshine for a price. Ray, Dennis, Don and Doug W, will send you some rain for a price too.
Later.

Mornin' boys. Head is still in a vice. Really hope I feel better by tomorrow morning. Hey Demay! Howzabout sending some of those mild temps East...? or is it West...?
to all my sickly brethern and sisternen.
Snowing and 27 degrees.
Chief wants us to pay for warm air, guess he remembers when he had to pay me to vote for him.
Was more than happy to rip the January page off the calender.

Just trying to recoup some of my "investment".
Good Mornin' Y'all From The Foot of Sunny Cape Ann,
The high temperature for the day has already been reached, 44. May hit 50 tomorrow. I sure hope Chief didn't think that because it was so cold down there recently in Roseyville he didn't have to take his monthly bath in the nearby creek. More snow in the forecast for Monday, just a dusting.
GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS? Why, it is RT's birthday!!!! Not to be confused with Buckeye's birthday.
JoeyD.......thank you for starting the February POT. I don't care what the rest of the guys say about you. There is still hope for a Yankee fan. Well, maybe not HudsonJohn and AF Ray.
Prayers continue for those recovering.......JON, DonnyB, DougM, HusdonJohn's Mom, and Buckeye's wife. I know I am forgetting someone.....
Buckeye........the ice cover on the Great Lakes is staggering. I can remember visiting Door County Wisconsin with my wife about three decades ago and watching the ice floats from Lake Michigan making their way out into open water from Green Bay.
The wife and I are attending a fundraising event tonight for St Francis Children's Hospital. Needless to say, I am already hearing the classic refrain "I have NOTHING to wear!!!" I sincerely hope this does not mean a trip to the mall to buy a dress and all that women buy to go with it. There won't be any money left over to donate to the charity!!!
Later, gang.
Jack
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
Good late morning all, stayed up too late last night watching a movie (The Aviator) about Howard Hughes early life. Gave up before it ended but didn't get to sleep until 2:00AM so I slept late this morning. That's the nice thing about retirement. No appointments today so who cares?
Glad to hear good reports on Don B., Doug M. and Jon and hope Mrs Buckeye is doing better too.
Don, looking forward to seeing some of your old slides of trains etc. Wish I could do something with my old railroad slides. I took pictures from about 1965 until around 1979 while railfanning. Some of them are good but it is a major job to tackle that slide collection.
Had a hick up on my computer yesterday and lost the keyboard temporarily. My son found the problem with a loose connection. Thank goodness for him or I would be out of business.
We are having a special service at church this coming Sunday called a healing mass for people with chronic illnesses like mine and anyone who is suffering serious health problems. I intend to take advantage of this opportunity and go for myself. Wife is going too for her health issues. The service is now called "Annointing of the Sick". I will be grateful for any benefits that the Lord extends to me.
Can't believe it's February already. Time flies when you're having fun.
Happy birthday RT

Good Afternoon! 39 degrees and Sunny.
A Beautiful Day here. My wife Doray is planning daughter Michele's Baby Shower. I hope she is speaking French for I have been hearing a lot of what "WE" have to do. Her Rehab from the double knee replacements is going well.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! RT
Glad to hear that Doug M is doing well. Get well soon.
Don, Jon and Mrs. Buckeye, Speedy Recovery.
Jack: Enjoy the fund raiser.

Raining.
Happy Birthday, RT.
Happy Birthday RT!!!
I hope you can make my Birthday Party next week. Everyone is going to be there.
Mrs. Buckeye is out of the hospital and now resting at the rehab center just south of the Rogers Corner's Country Club.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RT !!!!!!!!!!
Not much going on here. Think I ticked off a home care nurse today. This guy calls last night about 9:30 and says he has an authorization and wants to set up a time for today to come out. So I tell him 1 pm. At 2 he calls says he's going to be late. So he arrives asks if we have done this before, we say yes. (Actually same company). Kay asks him does he have a badge. He had forgotten it at the office. Then he wanted the previous documentation so he could copy all the info. (I'm not liking this.) So I want to know how often a nurse is going to be coming out, and also the physical therapist. He doesn't know. Then he wants me to sign some forms saying we've discussed all this including frequency of treatments and treatment contents. I again ask OK so where is the information? Oh it will be coming next week. I told him that is when I will sign the paperwork. He was not happy, wanted/needed the signed paperwork. So he left.
Will get it all resolved next week.
Spent most of the day in bed watching TV.
Take care and stay healthy!
Don
Happy Birthday RT! And many more.
RIJack - Come on now, I know you want to!
Later.....

Buckeye I was thinking now that I'm retiring I will have more time so figure I would start doing every other week with you that way we could have a birthday 26 times a year each think of all the goodies we could get by doing that
Another day of snow here. I spent the morning at a HOA seminar and the afternoon and early evening working in the basement. The walls are flying up.
Most importantly Happy Birthday RT

Good night all. Rain stopped. Getting the .17HMR ready for tomorrow. That pesky groundhog is going to see his shadow. Forecast has changed from cloudy to sunny.
RT, I have a great suggestion. You move in with Buckeye and both celebrate together. Also, since you worked at VA, you could help recoup Mrs. Buckeye. [one less carpetbagger]
Sleep tight.
Hello all
Well we got less than 2" of new snohio. Still closed up due to frost, but we may open up in the early morning.
Happy Birthday RT!
Chief, I imagine you guys got plenty of salt when Gen. Sherman came thru...
DonB - sounds like you are getting some interesting visitors between the salesmen and the home care. We'll need to get you a Z-gauge set up you can run on your desk:)
I saw the new streetcar in Tucson for the first time on Wed. They are making test runs right now and are supposed to start up in the spring. Eventually I will be able to take the streetcar downtown from campus and then bus or bike home.

Konbanwa and Ohayo Chuck,
We had an unseasonably warm day today. The sun was shining most of the day and the high landed in the upper-50s. This afternoon I caught a quick ride on the Tardis with SJ, Brutus, and RT, and then I was able to watch some UFC fights. This evening we had a going-away dinner for my boss. The dinner was at a traditional Japanese restaurant that also had a coy pond in the center of the dining area. I am not working tomorrow so I can enjoy the Super Bowl; it starts at 0830 Monday morning out here.
Has anyone heard from Roy recently?
Fife – You can have all our mild weather. I want some snow.
Thanks Jack.
Happy Belated Birthday RT!

Joe
Good Morning from Blueberryhill......
Good Morning, Joe....
It is 39 degrees and raining. Going up to 46 today with more rain.
Today is an easy day. I want to run trains and then have lunch. A nap and the Super Bowl. Relax is the word for today.
Dining car is here with the usual for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Sunday.
Hi GUYZ,
Nice here at 35 and getting up to 44. Helps with the heating bills. Here is what I have been working on the past month on the layout. There is more pics on SPF. Hope you like it? The mountain is done in 8 different pieces. I did not want to do the work on top of the layout and on my knees. So I decided to work in sections and put it all together. This way if I need to clean track I just remove back part of mountain to get to it.
Front side.
Back side.
Stay frosty my friends,
Morning. Sunny and go into the 60's. Slept and snoozed till now. Not much happening here. May go with Wifey to shopping center she has wanted to go to all week.
Groundhog will see his shadow.
Have a good one.
Don B. -- good job with your "visitor", I had a similar visitor a few years ago when I had a hand surgery and after some discussion we had a better relationship. You are the boss and sometimes they struggle to figure that out.
It seems like I'm sleeping more during the day but yet I'm still sleeping well at night. Having our four year old grandson here this weekend has been wonderful, oldest son was here last night and that was great. Good for all of us
Jon
So many roads, so little time.
Happy Ground Hog's Day.....He didn't see his shadow in Ohio therefore we are in for an early spring. I believe he saw his shadow in NC.
V8....We will remember your cruel comment for a long long time. We can't even see the grass. A neighbor used his snow blower to clean part of the tree-lawn so that dogs being walked on the adjacent sidewalk have a place to do their duty.
Jon...You need more states on your map.
