DOUG M, AWESOME wish I had an airfield.  Love the take offs and landings.  That must be some layout.

Good morning all,

Had a nice Mother's Day dinner with the entire family.  I had to pass on red meat on account of my high triglycerides and had salmon instead with lots cooked vegetables and salad bar.  It was good.  I need to call my doctor today and let him know how my medicine for high triglycerides is doing.  He doubled my dose about two weeks ago but it is causing me stomach pain and headache now.  Not good.  I was able to tolerate half that amount before but it was not enough to do the job.

Don, how did you wind up in La Verne yesterday?  Assume you had family or business there.  Glad you and your wife had a nice day.  That train you saw at the swap meet for $175 was unbelievable.  Must be one of those people who think anything with Lionel name on it is worth a million bucks.

Chief, hope you got the bathroom straightened out so you can pee now.

Doug, I will look up that video about the German model airport.  Sounds interesting.

Lakers went down in flames yesterday.  Next year will be a lot different without Jackson.

No comment on Dodgers but hope they get it all sorted out.

Ray

Good morning all!

Sunny and 92 today. It is hot enough already LAZ.

Brutus - we will keep Char in our prayers. Hope it was just bad food.

Angel for all you guys under the weather. Having a bit of trouble with feeling in my right thigh. Trying to get a doc appt in next day or so. Used to be a lot easier to call the doc office and get an appt - now you have to wait through 15 pre-recorded messages and several key pushes to get another recording saying leave your request on VM Bang Head.

Wow - Mavs spanked the Lakers last night. Who wooda thunk it? Lakers had some real issues with less than sportsman like conduct throughout this series. That bad attitude and lack of discipline is not a good way for Jackson to exit as it reflects on the coach and staff.

Have been so busy lately no time for train stuff.

Have a great day all!

Regards, Roy

Lunch time,

I was busy this weekend with yard work and Mother's Day. I did not have a chance to even read the posts until now.

RT, Autocar, wea had a few of them in the fleet. They became part of White later on. Great trucks. We had a Autocar that pulled our lowboy for years. It was over 30 years old when we retired it.

Probe, Good Luck on the job hunt.

Stugeon-Phish, I hope that you and your son enjoyed the Shoot A Ree. Sounds like fun. The layout looks great.

8n, Logic at work? I don't think so. The turkey dish sounds good.

AF53, We do not need a fence, we have MAGNA TRACTION. LOL. What am I expecting and can we test run it?

Brutus, I am glad that Char is recovering. Char get well soon.

Fifedog, You have the same HVAC system as mine and it sounds like our techs are about the same.

Laz, A perfect Saturday.

Mitch, Good luck with the evaluation today.

Chief, Good luck with the renovations.

Everyone have a great day,

John

Great DVD. Couldn't figure out how they did the takeoffs and landings, then saw the track in the runway. Also saw trucks, unlowders and people moving. I'm with LAZ. Wish I had an airport on the layout (no room now).

Good evening guys.  Regarding having toilets in doors, yeah we have 4 and they are all hooked up in their own little rooms.  Of course, when they built this house, they put these smaller round seats in the two upstairs bathrooms.  It works good for the kids, but once a person with a little meat on their bones uses it, it is like trying to balance on a unicycle!  Well, not that bad, but they do not allow for a comfortable reading room.

Had a relatively good day, but a bit on the long side.  Heard the place I do some fill-in work for up in Tennessee is having trouble.  They are handling things, but I doubt they can keep the pace as it is wearing out the folks.  If our situation allows, I may head up there to help out.

Rich, Yeah, I used to hate when a brother's house or property was involved.  While we feel for the loss to everyone, it hits a bit closer to home.  We had a call where the feed line on a propane grill was burnt through and the flame was shooting from the grill through the back door of his house.  We got there very fast and it was a quick knock down.  That was my first job as engineer on the pump with 1-3/4 line with Task Force knobs.  I ran the pressure up a little bit and the guys on the tip had a little work cut out for them.

Hope everyone has a good evening.
God Bless,
Dennis

I finally got time to shoot a short video of the 155 Ringing Signal that I got a few weeks ago.  The amazing part is that it needed nothing, which is a miracle considering the seller.

I also won a control box for the 314AW around 9AM this morning.  I've been trying to get one since November.  I spoke with Jeff a few minutes ago and got the parts ordered to finish the 624-622 restoration.

We had some rain today in St Louis, but it didn't last long.  Seems we will have a couple of days of hot temps, then back into the cold cycle.  Rivers are rising, but we're not facing serious flooding that I have heard about.  Prayers for those who are flooded or lost property or loved ones.  Work has been a pain the past few days, but it will get better eventually.

Char is doing great now, guess it was some bad food or a 24 hour bug?

TARDIS is ready and we have Famous Banilla tonight, so let's hit the sky road boys - beacons on!

Good morning all,

It is dry so far in SE Indiana.  Happy Birthday to "Points East" as "specials" from all over the country are making deliveries in Ohio today.  Congratulations, Toots as it is good to celebrate your day here on the pot.  Took the wife out to dinner last night for her special day as well and then played a card game with the kids.  I had the regular fare on the dining car before it headed out in the usual direction.  TBIL after "Glee" and I can drive.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on trainng,

Morning to All,

CakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeHappy Birthday ChuckCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCakeCake

Had a great belated Mother's Day dinner last night with our son. Chicken Scallopini....Yum!

Evaluation with my boss went fine.  Guess I get to work at least two more years.  This will most likely be my last evaluation under the old system. The next one will include some version of student achievement data as a large portion of my evaluation.

Well I better get moving. I've got a busy day ahead.

Take care,
