RT, Prayers have been lifted.  One question:  Have you checked with your banker regarding a "Bridge Loan"?  This is a loan for purchasing a new home in which they also include the existing home.  They give you enough money to use as a down payment for the second home.  When that sells, they take that money and apply it to the loan of the second house.  If you have enough equity in your current house, you can cover the PMI so you won't have to pay that.

Brent, I think 3rd rail has those auto reversing units.

Chief, glad you are feeling better.

To all you lucky Yorkies, have fun, take lots of pictures and please give us reports. (just don't take pictures in the halls).

It has been a long day so far and I am ready to head home.  Taking the neighbors out for sushi tonight (guy who owns a railroad).  Great people and I am sure we will have a wonderful time.  It will be a first date for my wife and I for some time.

Take care and God Bless,

Dennis

Hard to tell if it was felt here on the South end as we have gravel pits between the Scioto river and high street and they blast 2 to 3 times around 1:30 pm every day.Grumpy [|(]

GOOD EVENING ALL

Home from my day at the train store, I took an engine with a electro coupler that woud not stay closed and repaired that. Its nice to have expert help sitting there beside me. I am begining to have shakey hands which makes some repairs more difficult than they should be. A beautiful 76 today and like yesterday drove home with window open instead of a/c. I will return later but good health to all and RT all the best to you.

The earthquake I did not feel but, some  people here in the Dertoit area said they did.  S.J.

Hey guys here is the gang from the Coffee Pot at York.

Marty, John, Roy, Mitch, Kent, Bob

Brent, Fife (Bruce), Laz

Pam, Laz's wife was nice enough to take the picture.  Now I wish I had turned on the fill flash, might have killed some of the shadows.

Maybe Brent's has a better picture?

Paul Seabridge, Paterson, NJ; Roger Furkash, Dallas; Roy McClellan, Richardson; Mike McLintock, Dallas; George Watson, Dallas.  Last 4 all Texas.  Roy feel free to correct any misspelled names.

Had a great time today.  Thanks to Bob and Kent for the lanyards and badge holders.  And I believe it was Mr. Baker who sent us the gifties!  Lots going on today.

Unfortunately when I got back to the hotel I found out that Barry Broskowitz had a medical issue at York.  Hoping to hear some good new soon!  Thanks again to Laz for the help with this mornings Legacy Gathering!

Wow, not only do you have to contend with the nasty winter/summer weather but now earthquakes as well. Shock [:O] 5.2 with a 4.6 aftershock.

Earth Quake???  Not in CA but in central USA!!  No earth quake, just Buckeye and a "little extra gas". Shock [:O]Laugh [(-D]  Glad to see so many at York.  Hope all is fun.  Marty, let us know about Barry B.  Good day.  Went to Frankie's new house for first time.  Even farther south of me.  Nice big house.  He and Mrs. are proud.  Sad they are moving in new house and Sheriff will not be with them.  He was pretty good about the Sheriff subject.  Thanks for all who remembered RT today.  Bet it works.  Real warm here.  Hope to get rain tomorrow evening.  Got Rec Day parade tomorrow AM to ride and wave.  Glad I did not work on garden as I would have over done it.  Did not feel that great so riding to Frankie's and back was a rest.  Have a great evening.  Might try a bag of popcorn.  Sleep tight.

Great pics and looks like some great fellowship going one, guys!  Wish I was there too.

RT - of course, prayers are going out for you Thumbs Up [tup]

Hooked up faucet (short version) and it works.  Now have to wait for the wood and particle board to dry so we can see if that is all taken care of finally.  Found the mouse hole in the basement so I'm going to drop back, get some superior fire power, and that's all she wrote....  The only good Varmint Cong is a dead Varmint Cong, I tink.

TPC400 came today along with cable and some more gg track!  Hope to get some time to play tomorrow Cowboy [C):-)]

Doug, Sir James 1, Kurt and all others, sorry I missed the usual snack time.  God bless and all!

Enjoying some quiet time.  Prayers for Barry.

Nice photos John!  Hey, why is everyone empty handed?  Where's all the stuff?  I think we need one more with the swag!

Well, MIL, SIL, and neice here for visit...went to Toledo Zoo today..Animals back in their pens?  They seemed excited to be there..very active, even the sloth bear.  With this one visit annual membership seemed well worth the price!  3-yo very excited to see Hippos, and Polar Bears.

Found out at Zoo yesterday afternoon, BIL is comming for dinner and will stay this weekend with his 53'-semi....Let it be a suprise to the Bride when she arrived home.  Big Smile [:D]  Mind you we have a 1400 sf house...bedrooms are 10x12, and we have 5-adults, and 3-children here...good thing the weather is nice.

Brutus:  Glad you're till afloat...Didn't hear form you all day, was worried.

Chesecake Guys!  I had to make an emergency run to Sam's last night after dinner.

HI GIZ,

Well GREAT DAY at YORK yesterday.

First off started the day at ALEXANDERs RESTURANT for the FIRST EVER LEGACY MEETING of OPERATORS.  BIG THANK YOU to our own MARTY E and WILL ALLEN for setting this up.  All told we had 35 people show up and had RICH and MIKE from LIONEL on hand to demonstrate  the LEGACY system and take on questions about the problems and addressing those problems.  Lots of the things that LIONEL is working on will be updated with a memory chip that will be going out at the end of MAY.  Lots of things were said about the updates for Legacy, more on this later.   Great time, good breakfast and superb demonstration by LIONEL.  Now if we only can get LIONEL to pick up breakfast for usWink [;)]Big Smile [:D]?  HOPE BARRY B is ok.

Went and started the in the SILVER HALL, had to get my BADGE ( in the wake of going to the LEGACY meeting and bringing my FEF and CN SD 40) forgot it on our counterBanged Head [banghead].  No BIGGIE TCA gave me a new one for $5.   Walked all through the BLACK and SILVER halls bought a few 1/43 cars.  Went to ORANGE Hall and to the CTT booth met up with KENT and BOB there and spoke with them for about 30 minutes.  Telling those GIZ about the LEGACY meeting and just good ole train talk.  Went walking around hall till the CTT annual PHOTO SHOOT.  Nice shorts FIFE.  Talked with the GIZ for a  while.  JELECTRIC brought us gift from afar.  BIG THANK YOU DON BAKER ( we were all a SHAKEN and a BAKIN).  Another BIG THANK YOU to the GIZ at CTT for the lanyards and pins they gave us.  First time for the pin.  Thank you.

After PHOTO went on a hunting with wife for various items.  I picked up the Harley Diner for $47 bucks went and picked up my order from GELLER TOY TRAINS.  I got two cars made up one a landing craft from DDay and the other two duce and a halfs on flat bed.  Nice. I also picked up stuff from him for brother.  Also purchased more 1/43 cars and some pewter people.  GOT MY GIRLS( huba huba)!!!!

Went to all the halls and finally got off our feet at 330 took a break and had a lemonade and sat down on the ground in the shade at the RED hall.  Nice to sit in the shade leaning up against the building watching the people go by.  Sat for half hour started up again.  Went till 7 PM.  Nice day at 82 degrees.  Went to Harrisburg ate wings, fries and stromboli at Your Place.  Oh yea had beer too.  Got home at 945 tired fell asleep in recliner.

Big day here today got to start up pond put in pumps filters and clean out bottom.  Then sharpen blades on lawn tractor and cut grass first time.  Then goo fishin for TROUT have fire with BRO and eat burgers dogs and oh yea a few Ol MILs.

  B GOOD or B GONE,

Morning all. Great photo! Glad you are all enjoying York. Hope to hear more reports on what you found or learned. Taking the middle boy all the way to Schaumburg to celebrate his birthday with a few friends at his favorite arcade. That's the extent of the day's plan - one of my mountain cut-ups fell off the backdrop temporarily blocking the main lines- might have to cut this down a bit.

Good Morning All

Sunny 56 this AM, going to low 70s, possible showers later. I'm a little tired this morning but a feel good tired. You know the train store thing. I'm thinking a little more train room rearranging today. Then see what the day brings.

I't appears everyone had a good time at York and after seeing pictures, I don't know may change forums.not really.

Raining again today (sigh). Will run trains this weekend for sure and hook up all my tmcc component. No new water evident under the sink (yay!). Kurt, I was going to call you, but I was working until nearly 5PM and then we all went out to eat, book shopping, and then just gave it my best try when we got home. I'll take a pic later to post as well as a pic of my new tmcc setup.  Sir James 1, I sent you another email.  TTYL

These pics are about twenty years old the layout has changed only where newer items have been added. The blowup of the table shows things that were hard to see in the photo. and thats where changes have been made. the wall pics show part of where two loops run all the way around the four walls. I hopeyou all approve.  S.J.

Morning All !

Kudos to Brutus for posting the photos. Sir J, don't feel lonesome when it comes to computer illiteracy, I know just enuff to keep me out of trouble, most of the time. This stuff changes so fast that unless you are involved with them at some professional level almost daily you get lost. When I left the business world I had a good working knowledge of IT and systems design/installation/operation, we will just say that was 10+ years ago so you know what my computer literacy is todayEight Ball [8].

Well, didn't unload the truck last nite. I should have known better than to sit down at the computer. After dropping a quick line last nite that was it, just kinda one of those nites that I classify as "the lites are on but ain't no one home". Vegging out !

Had one Censored [censored] of a time trying to use DCS yesterday, finally said a few blue words and went to TPC's for PS2 ops, understand that there is a patch issued for a bug or two on the 4.0 upgrade. Got so frustrating yesterday the resident Dunce [D)] , me, forgot to take any photos for the club's photo gallery. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

You're right! I didn't put it all together. Nothing was really damaged but my youngest ran all three staged trains right into the mess. Have to get the road vice president to look at our coverage before calling Herzog. Nice layout, Sir James
