Good morning all,

Not sure what the weather will be in SE Indiana as it was still dark when I got to work.  Last full week of regular HS soccer :-(   Jack, it was basically a Lucas sighting.  I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast this morning.  At I did not have to drive today.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

choochin - It was nice to meet you too.  He sure is a cutie...I mean, not Charlie...you're little tiger...   Again. thanks for the heads up.Thumbs Up [tup]

Good Morning from cloudy Southern Ohio

Looks like we might get some rain which would be good.  It has been almost a month since we had a rain of any measure.  I have some inside stuff to do so weather is not an issue.  I am off till this evening when I start nightshift.  This is my quick turnaround.  You essentially work 7 straight 12 shifts, flipping in the middle from days to nights.Zzz [zzz]  By the end of the week I begin to think I am getting too old to work swing shift, then comes those 7 days off and you forget the pain.Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Chief and Chuck - Hope the prayers for healing legs is working!

Marty - Good to hear from you.

Jack - Ditto on the good dogs bad owners, kind of like guns.  It is not the gun it isthe person behind the gunSoapBox [soapbox]

Ffie - I saw the dept 56 flamingos and I am trying to aquire a set.  I think they may be a little "tall" but since they are so inconspicious it will help them to be seen.

Going to the train room and pick up a bit before reading more "Moral Theology" for class this coming weekend.

May God bless

Jim

Morning folks!

Sunny day here today. 80's and nice. Cool front tomorrow to keep us in the low 80's for a few days.

Yes I understand that the Chief would be upset when someone walks up to the Chief and says "fifedog, right!". This means the Chief is still smarting from all the indignities!  Smile [:)]

Somehow survived the HS homecoming weekend. Never got to bed earlier than 2 am or so Fri and Sat. Was able to turn in at midnight last night. Hope to get back to normal this week. Getting too old for this.

We have a good friend in Houston who is still without electricity.

Have a great day all!

Regards, Roy

For good reason, YOUR HONOR!  As I said, there is a good possiblity of a DVT and that is something you do not want!!!!SoapBox [soapbox]

But, in all honesty, I hope things are going well and that the leg is well and back to normal soon.  You are far too busy to be laid up with a bum leg, or worse.

Am now back on call, so this week has a good chance of being loooong!  Never did get to the trains as with wife working this past weekend, I had to entertain the kids.  Also, with all the activity around the movie, I was asked to run the light board for church services.  I enjoy the work, but it does make the day a bit busy.

I am at work, but the morning cases are done.  Hope to finish things up early and head home.  Seems the cath lab is rolling with a very heavy schedule which usually means that the rest of the week will be busy here.  Hope everyone has a blessed week ahead.

Dennis

Chief, welcome back from wherever it was you went.  Sounds like there was a train show in Mass.  I'm too lazy to look it up.  I heard a lot of talk about the new house at the Lake so I assumed that is where you were.  I'm still shedding a tear for all the breakfast stuff you describe that I can't eat anymore except for grits.  They go down easy.  Hope you got that leg injury fixed up.  Ray

While in Cardioligy today getting things set up for thursday events we got talking and they mentioned the southern states have some of the highest heart attack rates due to all the rich southern dishes so theres the proof why northerns don't eat grits it to thick for the body to handle and causes heart failure and the southerns aren't smart enough to get awayfrom itWhistling [:-^]

There now going to take me down on Wed. night put me up in a motel room for the night get me to the VA in agusta by 6:30 from the motel and then after all is done I'll be brought back to here all free of charge to me. in fact there picking me up here at the house and will drop me off here when they bring me back.   (All I did was tell them I was friend of Mayor Frank Eagles in Rolesville, N.C.) (and if you believe that got it done I want some of your medication. )

But on the serious side they are doing all that which really amazed me. I don't have to worry about leaving truck at V.A. and having to go get it either. Smile [:)]

Things are working out for me again and I thank the good lord again for this blessing.

RT,

Check if this works for your NYC Geep.

That is the one that goes to my R.I. GP7, pullmor motor w/TMCC & RS. Originally came with magnetraction but I had it converted to traction tires.

Good Luck RT!  Take care of yourself.

Got some great news on the movie.  It placed 4th overall, even though it was released in less than 850 theaters compared to the others which all were in more than 2500 to 3500 theaters.  We are humbled by what the good Lord is doing with it.  I have had questions asked about how we did the train scene, but it's a secretWhistling [:-^]

Today, I came home to find a box from the Train-Station.  I had won a Lackawanna livery scale hopper from K-Line.  I hope to pick up a few more of these as they are very nice.  Also got some older OGR mags that have a good deal of information in them.  One has Jim B. giving advice on upgrading Postwar engines to TMCC as well as Proto 1 engines to TMCC.  I hope to do this with a MTH Hudson and some of my  PW stock.

I am jealous of those going to York.  I may be able to make a trip that way in the Spring.  I really hope that we get some help soon.

Take care and God Bless,

Dennis

Great news about the movie - our local paper said it was #3.

Brutus, see if you can swing by to pick me up in the Tardis before heading to check out sir james,  I have some experience evaluating nurses since I've been married to one for nearly 20 years.

Good morning all,

It is foggy and cooler today in SE Indiana.  The high school soccer boys got their first win of the season last night 3-1.  We watched a little of "Dancing with the Stars" last night.  I wished I had more to report but I do not.  I had the usual fare on the dining car this morning.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Right knee is doing much better.  Swelling is finially going down some.  Almost no pain.  Crutches until the end of October.  I can't wait...

Buckeyes looked good this week.  Weather was perfect for football.

Have a good day everyone.
