Joe, think I'm glad I don't have any more pumpkin pies in the freezer!!

On the supper menu tonight:  beef stroganouf (sp?) w/ mashed taters & gravy, corn, green beans and apple sauce.

Desserts:  chocolate cake, chocolate cream pie, coconut cream pie, pecan pie.

Nightrain, got PLENTY of iced tea (sweetened & unsweetened).  Special project is coming along very well.

Congrats Nighttrain!  So do you know yet?  GM or EMD?  (You guess which is which!)  Those sandwiches are good!  I got a new scanner from Radio Shack last night.  Got CN and WSOR programmed in.  Of course, nothing was running...DOH!  It's the Pro-82 mobile scanner.  I did hear something from WSOR on their 'yard freq...way up here in Oshkosh!  Anyway...gotta let the dogs out and get back to work...back later!

Good Wednesday morning!  Time for all us sleepy heads to WAKE UP!!

On the warmer bar, you will find:  sausage, turkey bacon and pancakes (flapjacks, hotcakes, whichever you  prefer to call them), and in the cooler, you will find cantaloupe chunks and sliced tomatoes.

So far this morning (and I haven't been up but about 1/2 hour), my back is feeling better this morning.  Let's all hope it stays that way.

Everyone have a great day, and if there are any special requests for lunch, let me know, please.

Willy and Emma, thank you both, for your well wishes.  Hopefully, my back will soon be better.  As long as I watch how I sit, stand, and walk, it doesn't hurt too much.  But let me forget, and move a certain way, and I'm saying "ouch, ouch, ouch".

Cannonball and Shirley, it's good to see you could come by for a few, and pick up something for your supper.  Know you are both glad to be back home for awhile!

I'll take some of that dinner. It sounds good after a long day at school and sports practice.  I should be in here more often now that my Calculus test is over.  I guess all that time away from the diner was worth it though because I got a 95% on the test, but I missed all you guys. Good luck on that geometry quiz Willy.

Hope your back feels better CW.

CW - I hope your back starts feeling better soon! My mom often has some back pain and from what she says, I know it's not pleasant.

Time to study for a geometry quiz that I have tomorrow, and then it will be off to bed. It has already been a long week and it's only Tuesday evening.

Joe and Lance, there are two containers in the fridge with your names on them, for you two to take to work tonight.  (roast, taters, carrots, etc.)

For everyone else, you'll find roast, taters, carrots, etc. on the warmer bar (well, the salads and desserts are in the cooler, behind the counter).

Everyone enjoy your supper/dinner, and have a good evening.  I'm going to go sit in my rocker recliner, and pray that my back starts to feel better.  Must have pulled a muscle yesterday, doing laundry, and carrying laundry basket upstairs.  Cause it's been bothering me all day.Disapprove [V]  I may even have Mutt get the heating pad out, and plug it in for me.

CW - lunch sounds great!

The weather is looking pretty calm over the upcoming days. We're stuck in the 30s today and tomorrow, 40s Thursday through Saturday and possibly into the 60s by Monday. It's going to be nice to feel warm air again!
