Can one of you create a new coffee shop for me? The size of the current coffee shop is huge.
So please, create a new one and call it something like "The fall 2007 Depot Diner & Coffee Shop" Please don't call it DD & CS... too confusing for newcomers to the site.
I'm going to lock this now. First one to read this gets to be the creator of the new thread.

I am glad to see that you made it into the Diner this morning, CW. I would have been in here much earlier, but I could not get into the forums. I think the web site of Trains Magazine was down for a while.
We got a third of an inch of rain here in Sioux Falls yesterday. Today is shaping up to be a pretty nice day here, with our high temperature to max out at roughly 73 degrees. Three years ago on this date we got three inches of snow!
The open-face roast beef sandwich w/potatos and gravy is just the ticket for me, I think I'll have that for lunch.

Gee, ole crip here is in first this morning?!?!?! Can't believe this!! Had Mutt help me, and breakfast is ready (well, we'll make it brunch, instead!).
Coffee, tea, lemonade, and juices are ready. On the warmer bar, you'll find: bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, plenty of syrup, sausage, fried taters, vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, open-face roast beef sandwiches w/mashed taters and gravy.
We're getting a little bit of rain this morning. You all take care, and have a great day.

The only Eisenhower Tunnel I know of goes underneath the Eisenhower Lock in the St Lawrence Seaway.
Railfans - Sheesh! Actually the fans themselves weren't really an issue - it was running two extra trains for them using our regular equipment, and still running our regular trips. Made for a very long day, and the first time I've come close to outlawing.

While Oreo cookies and coffee isn't exactly my preferred choice for breakfast, I do remember being scolded by my grandmother many years ago up at the cabin in Estes Park, Colorado for having helped myself to a couple Oreo cookies from the cookie jar at 7:30 in the morning!

Good morning! Well, it looks like I'm the first one in the Diner here, so I think I'll take charge of serving breakfast this morning. The coffee is brewing and the orange juice is ready to be poured.
O.K., on the menu tor breakfast this morning: I've got a Virginia baked, honey and brown sugar cured ham in the oven, it should be ready to slice up shortly. I baked a pan of cinnamon rolls this morning, ya better grab one while they are still warm, we've got buttermilk pancakes and french toast with pork sausage and bacon, and scrambled eggs
It is raining here in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and I sort of wish I could send some of this rain out to those of you folks out there who are in a real need for rain. I woke up to a brilliant flash of lightning about an hour ago and it lit up my house like daylight.

M C: Oh, I was thinking you were working with RR tunnels. I believe from the tech info you mention, you are establishing a way to detect any movement of such tunnel surfaces {inside}....That sounds interesting. Thanks.
Did some work in the general area {vehicle testing}, many years ago and ended up at Berthoud Pass.....from our hotel starting point in Denver.
