G: Gauge 1 - MTH HUDSON; USA - 5 (1-SW, 2-GP38s, 1-SD40); ARISTO - 2 (RS+040); Bachmann - 1 and O: Lionel - 1; MTH - 2. My G's are outside runners year round. Would be out there today even at 17 degrees and snow has melted down to plowable range, oh well - maybe next week; paperwork catch up day this evening! I thought work stayed at work, :-). When I do I'll put a link to some pics.

I have three Bachmann Spectrum 44-tonners and one 70-tonner, two GP-9's (one SP, one WP), an F3 (in SP Black Widow) in my diesel barn. I think I have another F-unit in a box of my dad's old stuff but I don't think it runs, so I don't count it in my total count.

In electrics, I've got two single-truck Birneys (one runs marginally well with its original motor, the other barely runs--both due for repowering) and, I think, four or five Bachmann Brill trolleys (one modified to resemble a Sacramento PG&E car but not yet painted, the others awaiting paint and other mutilation.)

I don't own any HO steam at the moment but may pick up an 0-4-0 or 0-6-0 switcher if I can find one appropriate for WP.

If I tell, someone might tell my wife!
The good thing about it I can say Dad bought it, which isn't far from the truth. Investors are always a good thing for any railway survival.

22 Atlas/Katos Largley SP,Rio Grande,BN in N scale and about 12-15 or so in HO
mostly Athearn 2 Spectrum Blecchhmanns!! Dash 8 40 CWs CSX,& Nofolk Sothern 1 Kato NW2 Rio Grande i have N Scale running at this time

I read and earlier post regarding the Spectrums..... well they are powerful locos but mine are just a bit noisy and rough running and hesitant at times never could get them to settle down any stripped them to the frame and basicly went over them with a fine tooth comb from the bottom up and still they dont run worth a Damn! pull yes, run well
No i dont f**kin think so! Why? Cuz they suck!! As a result they are used for static display in the engine terminal to be scrapped at a later time
right now they are in their boxes awaiting their fateful dispostion i' ll never run those pieces of #$&*%# again

Regards
Larry

i would love to know of the people who answered the the poll of having over 100 locomotives..........where do you store them and/or keep them?
Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

I have 127 working locomotives & 11 dummy units in HO. I , like yourself can't pass up a good bargain. I have a friend who had too many toys & wanted to sell off his collection , steam , diesel , ect. So that boosted my fleet by 94 units now totaling 138. He gave me everything that was HO . Just under 900 pieces of rolling stock plus the 94 engines. He's keeping the O gauge though. I only use aprox. 50 on a rotation basis & the rest are kept in their original boxes in totes. "Talk about your megamergers"....................PS. There went my 2002 tax return. & realy the only sad thing about my collection is that only 21 units are Soo Line .

Well, I've got around 120 locomotives right now. On my layout I have 8 running, plus another 17 in my yard, roundhouse and on sidings. All of my extra locomotives and rolling stock are displayed on shelves that I have on most of the walls of my train room.

Total of 42. 10 brass steam, 32 diesel with plastic shells. I use CTC on my layout so all have receivers except for the steam engines. Only five are equiped with receivers, so I have 37operating. All UP. Power for the diesels are for the most part Proto-Power, but I do have some Life-Like Proto 2000 units. Shells are from Athearn, Railpower, Sprectrum, High Liners, and one other I can't remember.
