Morning fellas...

Mitch - no I didn't make it... Sad [:(] Hopefully I'll make it on Monday... tonight and tomorrow I have to work on getting the house ready for Susan's graduation celebration tomorrow... so much to do... If you want it go ahead and pick it up.  I'm going to York in October and will be able to get one then.

Jim - after putting the siding on the gable ends last night the inside of the shed got very dark, not too dark, but dark enough that it could be dangerous without additional light.  So it appears the shed is going to get some electric in the near future.  I have the switch box installed already, and have one for the outlet for the shop lights (already have the shop lights from the old house), so just have to run the wire...

Jim A and Buckeye - just havin' some fun with you! Wink [;)] Jim I figured you picked up on it and were just trying to avoid getting yourself in trouble again...

As for the Chief - I want to know what he is doing off roading in AL... I sure hope he brought his flatbottom boat, he could have trouble getting out of that swamp... guess his rental car only has F and no R... sounds like it needs a new E unit... Whistling [:-^] Hmmm... wondering if I could model a swamp and put a F-150 in the middle of it with the Chief standing on the roof looking bewildered... maybe put Laz's bear on 'dry' ground standing guard...

Egg-zactly, Brent. Ever since the MILF thing, I've made a concerted effort not to be offensive whenever possible. First thing on the list is never using the acronym MILF. So from now on, no more MILFs in my posts, and no more washing my mouthout with soap for typing the word MILF. Second thing is to steer clear of potentially egg-splicit inuendos, like fifey's.

But I'm hip, you dig?

Good morning all, Morning chief, where ever you are.

Buckeye, The new BPS is being built right off of I75, Toledo tried to get it built downtown near the ballpark and soon to be sports arena, but BPS went with closer to the turnpike. Cabelas built right off US23 at Dundee Mi. and of course gas stations and fast food followed around the ramps. All reports I have read say it did not help local economy as people get off and back on 75 without going into town.

Still have not planned my day so might just do nothing. Not as hot for the next few days but no rain until MAYBE sunday.

Jim F, you did a good job of saying hi to everyone so good morning to you.      Sir James

HI GIZ,

Muggy here today at 79 to get to 89?  Played about 85% last nite in GOLF.  Swing hurt a little so didn't want to really blast my oblique oper again, shot a 50 on the back nine.  Lousy GOLF but still had some fun.  Still hurts when lying down but when walking or sitting no pain, go figure.

Cut grass on Wednesday for the first time in 8  weeks, and still could have let it go.

CHIEF, found another swamp?  Isn't that all there is in the deep south?

BRENT, good job on the shed, are you running lectricity?

JELECTRIC, wonder if BARRY picked up the LIONEL BIG BOYS?  or did he go down to Kentucky for the other stuff he bought off his friend there?  The stuff thats on sale in the front of the store?

  All have a good one.

Morning all.  Can get extra sleep here as CDT.  Slept well.  Took an Ambien CR and never woke up the entire night.  My buds in Texass are getting flooded again. WC says so rain north of of I 40 in NC.  Maybe Roseyville.  She moved the radar map too fast.  Jim A, big box of lye soap on the way to NE. Wink [;)]  Well, got to hit the shower and then breakfast.  OH, notice the posting times for Mr. JA, still not 6 AM.  We all know the first he does when he gets to work is turn on computer and post. Whistling [:-^]  later

PS:  John F, been wanting an update on the Grandkids and their showing their livestock at the fairs.  Really proud of them.  Lots of kids now days don't think that is cool.

No need for the soap, Chief. as I said before, no more MILFs.

Late day today, so no need to be here at all before 8:00. Besides, I check other sites before CTT. My email, my auctions, my grits market reports, etc.

I have a cheap 1990s starter set NH boxcar that I'm thinking of turning into a grits boxcar. Then I'll have something to kick across the basement! Maybe I'll make a grits hopper, too! Wink [;)]

Don't let Swampy getchya!!

Late Morning all,

Taking it lazy this morning.  Took some time to catch up on the pot.  Bride looked at some of the posts, Whistling [:-^] let's just say, "so that's what you talk about?????"

Going to cut some grass and work on a new to me AF 290 someone gave me.  Loco is working great now and re-doing the tender now.  The guy also gave me a 785 Coaler.  Havn't tested it yet, but is in really nice shape, all it needs is a brace and roof and cleaning.

Take care and may God bless

WC is showing severe T'storm over Roseyville.  Called wife at her office downtown Raleigh and she was scared to be on the phone.  Called Roseyville Town Hall.  Gina says power going off and on, zapping lightning, power wires at stops lights sparking and rain pouring down.  Big surprise.

Off to the store.

Hey, Chief. Would you pick me up an oatmeal colored henley shirt, size Medium? I saw one in the BassPro catalog yesterday in the men's room (page 200). It looks nice! Just toss it in your bag. No one will say anything.

Good morning Coffee Potters - enjoying my day off with the family, though we have to get to the wedding rehearsal in a few hours.  Watching the new Dr. Strange dvd movie which is very good indeed!

Buckeye, apparently Grandpa's Pipe smoke is a "flavor" of megasteam and I think John F posted a few days ago that he and the grandkids like it best now?

If you ever go back into Wooly Swamp son you better not go at night/ There's things out there in the middle of them woods/ That'd make a strong man die from fright/ There's things that crawl and things that fly/ And things that creep around on the ground/ And they say the ghost of ol' Chief Eagles strows GRITS all around!

RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.

Rotten luck this afternoon. My new laser printer didn't do a very good job on my decal film, so only 1/2 of the decals I made are usable. Next time, I'll use the old one that I know works. So I called Micro Mark and ordered some more. The decals cost $11.00. Shipping them cost $10.00. Fortunately I bought enough to last me a while (I hope). I don't like Micro Mark's high shipping fees. $10 to ship a few sheets of paper?!!!

The New Haven freight and Lionel Lines 2400 series passenger decals are a loss. The B&M decals are usable.

I can't wait to head home and get caught in Friday night traffic! Always a treat!

Not sure where you ate Chief but we give our best company pig stomach stuffed with meat. Then if your lucky you might get some head cheese.

My best Southern food is some plant that looks like a palm tree. It is smaller and the heart of the trunk is boiled and tastes better than cabbage. We called it swamp cabbage but I think it is a Palmetto Tree. To tell the truth that is what I miss most about my misery in the south for those few years. I couldn't wait to get the heck North again.

To tell the truth I find Southern cooking boring and not even close to the great ethnic foods of the North. Heck they didn't even eat Turkey on Thanksgiving.

BRATS!!!!!  That is the one food you Yanks have that I really enjoy.  Now the "rotten" cabbage on them with lots of mustard is good.  Us Southerners have turkey along with ham and pork bar-be-que for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Dinner [dinner]  Going to call Dennis and Dr. John for a plan.  Later

Evening all,

I just spent some time on one of those earth searches, ah memories. The grade school is still there but the neighborhood stores are all gone. And of course many homes gone too.

Jaabat, all those problems at home are just routine, notice how its always one after the other. it will be over soon then someone elses turn. But I don't think being good on the forum will change your luck. maybe, maybe not.

I did a little training today, also took a closer look at that starter set, lots of nice items in there, kind of hate to give it up but it will have a good home and I sure don't have to have it.I'll drop by before bed time.

Kurt, any info on that bldg?                           Sir James
