Chuck, Yes, you need to hang on to that copy of CTT. I hear it has already become a collectors' item. Bring it with you the next time we meet and I will autograph it for you. I'm sure Tom and Laz will do the same. Of course Laz charges big bucks for his autograph so that he can feed the bear.

Lots of posts since last nite and its hard to avoid the "issue" but I am trying. I do have a very strong urge to say something though.
We have a beautiful summer sun rise and 86 forcast for today. Still no rain since I've returned from you know where. Going to cut the wide blade grass today and check the train room later.
I hope all have a beautiful day and Texas, heads up. Sir James

HI GIZ,
73 and rain today here to get to 90 with tstorms this afternoon. Maybe GOLF? Yesterday went shooting with BROTHER. We shot my Sig 229 and his Bullpup S&W .45 wheel gun along with his Glock 17 with laser site. The laser site was cool don't even have to aim just point the dot and squeeze. Made a 15 shoot pattern about 4 inches accross. Really cool got to get one of em.
BUCKEYE, LOL!!! I still remember when that first (magazine issue) came out. Was the start of OTTS. CHUCK if you give me a ride in the OTTS JET, I wiil autograph your issue free. Love the article about making a LAYOUT FOR OLD GEEZER IN NC.

DON,
I bang my head when in school when kids can't read a ruler when they are in 7th through 12th grade. Seems like weve missed the boat somewhere? Sometimes its better just to do it yourself.
Doug and mitchelr: I'm having trouble finding hula girls short enough for the 'special project car'. The shortest I've found was 3-4-inches tall. That puts clearance at 6+ inches on standard flat cars with tubular track. I may need to fabricate a recessed flat car. The other angle is to modify an artista figure. I'll keep you posted. It may be in time for Christmas..?
Speaking of which...did anyone hear about damage to the Big Island, Hawaii. A hurricane should have hit last night. It seems to have broken up this am.
Reggie: Beautiful Family!

Mornin' boys. Dark with passing showers here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mitchie, thanks for the new pot, and FYI--->DECAF...nevahhhh!!!

jaabat - ....thank you.

I am indeed blessed to have such a swell circle of friends......
Good morning everyone,
It's an overcast day here today. I did all my outside work for the week yesterday & tuesday. The two hottest day too. I put malorganite on the grass, plants and the hemlocks, mowed the lawn, and raked the dead grass up. Today I can take it slow, because I only have to install printer software on my dad's laptop when he gets home, and then install the printer itself on his desk.
Keith, sounds like you are enjoying your vacation!!! Glad to hear that.
Reggie, you're one lucky man. Count your blessings everyday.
Jim A wow, thanks for sharing that.
I'm going to go get some breakfast, and log back on in a few minutes.
Have a great day everyone.

Again,
Great looking family, Reggie. Can't wait to see her running the trains. Mine started early and she still loves her trains. I bet Momma wants another by that big smile on her face.
tmccboy - .....thank you.
BTW, Buckeye, that BLUE COMET you sent had a bullet hole in one of the coaches. That's not the same one Bobby Bacala was holding in Jersey, was it...?

I think that's everybody but BK and the CTT staff....

i dont want anymore until she gets a little older. when i say she is a hand full man she's a handful. i taken her up to the train room and she loves the fair area. i guess because of all the different colors and objects on there. i ran the trains the other day for her she watched them go from one end of the room to the other end. when it got close to her she really didnt know what to think. but she didn't show any signs of not liking them so thats a start. if she doesn't like something she will let you know right away.

Mmmm.............I did get that on the cheap.
Reggie, just because you don't, doesn't mean she doesn't.

I'm not saying anything but if she wants 'em there is little you can do to stop it... " border="0" width="30" height="20" />

i know how to stop it and that is by not doing the grown folks like i really want to. you get the pic i hope. i have spen t more money on this little girl and the reason is her mom wants to buy every new invention that comes out, because she thinks she needs it, or mom just wants it. guess what we have more stuff that we haven't used still in the closet, and every time we don't use something i tell her i thought we needed and its still sitting here in the packaging that it came. i tell her i told you we didnt need this now look at the wasted money sitting there. that could've been spent on you or my trains, and not sitting here in the closet. so now i have told her don't buy another thing until i approve of it. now thats saving money 101.
Guys,
This is kinda OT but for any car fan look at these pix, especially the ones at the bottom, which are of his garage. My mouth dropped when I saw his collection.

A bit late today. Had early Doc appt. Had to get some premalignant (as they call them) moles and other spots removed. Doc nailed me with the freeze gun in about 30 places - hands and forehead - man that stings!
I also have that issue and the pic Buckey posted was Photoshopped! The "LAYOUT FOR OLD GEEZER IN NC." actually reads "GEEZERS BUILD LAYOUT FOR NC." Shame on you Buckeye!
Not as hot today - maybe 100? The tropical storm in S.Texas is cooling us off!
Fife - I am still trying to figure this out - so I say anyway!
Reggie - great family you have there. I particularly enjoyed your comment about your wife's spending and that the money could have been used on trains! Now I know why you did not include yourself in the photos, the bruises and swelling haven't gone down yet!
Have a great day all!
Regards, Roy

I had to register to view the pictures. Nice F40, that is my favorite.
Not much new here just been trying to make the most out of my summer. I went to a Nascar race two weekends ago (Nextel Pocono), Philly last weekend, concert tomorrow night in NYC, studying for next semester already, and very slowly working on the layout. I have pictures but haven't had time to post yet. Maybe tonight. I'm also hoping for a nice lightning show tonight. We'll see what happens.
