Jack Flux whats that lol yes I use flux it was a stiff wire and it wasn't wht you normally would concider a wire it was more of a very small diamiter metal rod ( like maybe 1/32 ) and it barely reached where it had to go. But that was like 3 years ago this one was a regular wire thou more like 24 ga but was a breeze to do. by the way you want a 736 I have the whole set for sale lol

I applied for a loan for your 736 set at the First National Bank of Roseyville. But one of the bank officers they called Fast Frankie turned me down because he took issue with the fact that I was a Yankee and was buying from a person he referred to as a carpetbagger from the "Nawth."

Spent a "great" day with the grandson, as Wifey and I took him to Day out with Thomas in Strasburg, on Tuesday. Perfect weather, small crowd, and all the choo-choos we could stand.

Jack that doesn't surprise me. As he wouldn't know a good investment when he saw one he gave me a engine just because it was PRR I was very glad to get it and have charished such a great engine for a while but the first thing I did was make sure it wasn't filled with cement Grits

Don......after 5 days when you get the arm cast removed, I would recommend you lay off arm wrestling for a while. However, intense rehabilitation is in order. Light weight, many repetitions with

We started her formal training today, working on improving her attention on us, her jumping on us, her chewing of us, and her desire to drag us all over God's creation when on a leash. There is an old saying that a tired puppy is a good puppy.......and whoever came up with that pearl of wisdom knew exactly what they were talking about.
We have Raven on a precise schedule of eating meals (3/day), drinking, play time, naps, and the ever-so-important pit stops outside......all outlined in a book our trainer gave us. Outside of the schedule, when she starts sniffing the floor and/or looks at the door and then at you, the worker bee (me) better hop to it or there will be an accident on the floor.
When the puppy does what you want outside, you immediately mark the (positive) behavior in the puppy's mind with a tasty morsel of some sort. Dog's catch on fast. Maximus still realizes the routine and often will go to the door if only because he knows he'll get a treat when he finishes outside.
Funny thing, with the detailed schedule from the book we can pretty much predict when Raven will need to go out: first thing in the early morning, after a nap, after playing, after eating, or after excitement. The schedule from the book is actually pretty spot on, and even a knucklehead like me can be successful.
Puppies' bladders can usually hold out for an hour to an hour and a half for every month old thay are, provided they are on a schedule as mentioned. Three month old Raven is actually getting through the night without issues (11pm-6am) because of the schedule....with the last meal at 5pm, the last water at 7pm, and the last 'outs' at 11pm.
One other point: the dog crate is your best friend and is to be used liberally when you can't keep a very close eye on things. Otherwise, your rugs, furniture, cabinets, electrical cords, eyeglasses, cell phone, remote controls, and anything else that the puppy can reach can and wll be chewed up.
We feed Raven in her crate, and in just a week it has become her private restaurant, puppy cave, and a place of shelter and safety. She will go in and out of it on her own already or without a fuss. If we do this right, she will soon go in there to take a nap on her own.
I was feeling sorry for Brent when he was recently posting about severe sleep deprivation due to his son's routine and schedule. Now I don't feel so bad for him. He should have read my dog book and used a dog crate too.

"My" soccer girls won 6-4 after getting 4 goals in the first 10 minutes. It was a close game the rest of the way and a real nail biter. It was a good win for Senior Night as 3 kids played their last home game ever. Work was worthless today.

Been real busy here. Getting in about 90-95 miles per week on the bike, running, and walking. Feel real good. Been practicing with the compound bow and getting real good. Did a few Robin Hoods, splitting arrows, gets expensive.
Got my badges for YORK, now I can practice wearing it for a few weeks.

Aloha. It seems like Summer has returned along with thunderstorms. This weekend, our town celebrates its centennial with a festival at the new lake (they took 20 years to convert the quarry pit to a rec area). Looking forward to going there tomorrow to see the local garrison of the 501st Legion (a bunch of dress-up Star Wars enthusiasts - they are quite fun). Jack, does Raven have the same schedule as Maximus? Or does Maximus know his own routine.
