Jon... I'd like to see a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packer's Bart Starr and the Cleveland Brown's Otto Graham.  And of course Lou "The Toe" Groza.

Wow...that is old.

A true Super Bowl would have Fran Tarkenton against Johny Unitas .......... I think I just dated myself.

Jon, I remember seeing them play....oh wait, that was on the history of the NFL before they had the super bowl!   Yeah, you are old!  Just kidding.  I was thinking about you the other day as Fox had a high school band from Indiana that is slated to play at the game...they were pretty good.  I think the name of the school was named after someone like Bob Nelson?

Well, been working on taxes and took a break to take family out to get some ice cream.  Will be time to head back to the paperwork.  Hope Y'all have a good night.

Laz and Jeffrey, thank you.  I am still unable to access the new website.  I have tried everything but nothing works.  I have been using it for a few days with no problem until today.  Must be on my end somehow.  Left a message for their webmaster and gave up.

Ray

Did you try another browser? I had plenty of trouble getting on other sites when I was using IE. I switched to Firefox and no problems with the exception of a site that was set up for IE only. That was years ago.

We just did a good inventory under shelter.  New men's 26 inch bike is gone.  Also, 25 gallon John Deere pull behind sprayer.  Right now, can't find anything else missing.  Now the finger points to the "Jones Boys" above the pond.  Chief of PD is going to talk to their Dad.  If he has seen any of this, he will tell.  Never volunteers but when asked, tells.  If it is them, they may become turtle food at the bottom of the pond. Whistling Laugh  No, but when they go before a Judge, a Mayor will be there asking for habitual criminal status.  That means long sentences.

Lets go to a movie.

That reminds me, you're doing a great job weighting those new cars, Jeffrey. That was definitely a requirement when I was in N.

I agree completely. I was in N Scale in the 80's. The only stuff available in this area was all Bachmann. The cars were seriously under weighted and it nothing to have an entire train string-line on a curve, especially dramatic if it was a curve on a trestle or mountainside.

Aloha Paradise. Well, the first eye zapping went well. I have a cool zombie-looking eye for a few weeks. Nice to see the sun today. That CP derailment looks pretty nasty Kev. SJ and Joe, we took a Rick Steves tour in Rome for our 20th anniversary. It was great. He runs a class outfit. He's currently on tour, speaking in small towns across the US. You're making me hungry, RaySpank, thought of you with all the Rutgers news/  David, smaller scalers are welcome! That reminds me, you're doing a great job weighting those new cars, Jeffrey. That was definitely a requirement when I was in N.

Good morning all, it's a little after 9:00 here.  Don't have any word yet on my friend's heart surgery but assume that it went well.  No news is good news.  Will try to confirm later today. His wife was with him at the hospital but don't want to bother her with phone calls yet.

Regarding the Super Bowl, I'm not a pro football fan either but I took advantage of some of the food offerings at our local super market yesterday.  Picked up some baby back ribs, Green Giant frozen corn on the cob, baked beans and potato salad.  We ate half of the ribs last night but will warm up the other package later.  It was all very good.

Chief, I don't eat cream of wheat but do eat cream of rice sometimes in place of grits.  Maybe the grits had more abrasive action to keep your pipes clean in your heart.  The gastrointerologist put me on cream of rice one time when I was getting over an ulcer but grits probably wouldn't hurt you either.

Buckeye, where is the snohio?  Looks like Colorado beat you to the punch.

Have a good weekend,

Ray

Good Morning CTTFans!

Finally got shoveled out this morning.  It's still slightly snowing and the yardstick shows 19" here at home.  A few of our foothill cities are reporting in at 4ft!  Should see some melting over the next few days but they say another storm should arrive on Tuesday...

Hamburger and a Diet please and a serious side of fries too...

Ohayƍ,

It's 0100 Sunday morning right now.  I am finishing some schoolwork and thought I would write a quick post.  We had a very nice Saturday and didn't do much after finishing our chores besides going out for a quick dinner.

SJ - We bought the complete series on DVD a few years ago and re-watch some of them every now and then.  He has new updated shows and the wife just ordered an updated version from the PBS website.

Jack - Sorry, no typo.  Although the Giants are not my team, I will always root against any team from Massachusetts.

Sayonara,

Joe

Hey Pat, did you notice that that Train Town store over by the old Whole Foods location closed down?  It didn't make it a year.  I'm not surprised, as their prices were about 10% above MSRP.  I only stopped in there twice - once to check them out when they opened, and once early last summer looking for kites.  They had a decent selection of trains, and I'm all for supporting a LHS, but c'mon, 10% above list?  I don't think so!

Hope to be on here more often now and catch up with everyone.  Later!

Welcome back Spank!

I never did get to visit Train Town.  I am not surprised they closed, though. 10% above MSRP? In this down economy?

Morning guys, cloudy and high 30s with very light rain. Guess most of that rain is going to skid south of us and head for Buckeye and Chuck. Maybe it will turn to snow or ice for them.  Surprise

Not much going on today, got to get groceries and pay the last bill of the month. Dinner

Sandra and I ran trains and talked late into the night and we managed to not have any problems pop up in the voodoo train room. But then I was running the post-war 681 turbine and the 218 ALCO F2 so what could go wrong?  Smile

Fife, thanks for the offer! Come on over and see what you can do. I would blame the Chief for putting a Rebel hex on my train room but I was having these problems before he sent the Grits filled package.  Laugh  Smile, Wink & Grin   Ick!

Later guys,

Kev.

Good morning everyone.  Getting ready to jump into the taxes.  It is sunny out and heading to themid 70's.  Joe, there was a time I could do the cold, but I don't do it by choice.  Now about the Giants, they have been my team since being brainwashed by my dad at a early age!  I don't watch sports for the most part, but may make an effort after church tomorrow.

I am planning on doing a little with some card stock buildings for the background of the layout.  Hope to do a little gluing and if time permits after taxes, to actually get them mounted as the backdrop.

Take care,

Dennis

Good Evening CTTFans!

Well, it's been SNOWING! here for about 30+ hours now and will continue through the night.  Would say I have about 12-18" on level snow and might reach 24" by Saturday.  Some cities are reporting nearly 3ft!!!

Sigh

Some people just have all the luck,  as I look at on my the green grass of my lawn in Buckeyeland.

Wish I may, wish I might have this wish of you having a BLIZZRD of might. [not one from Dairy Queen]
