Aloha Paradise. Grey but warmer today. Hope everyone enjoyed their Valentines. We had a nice meal at home with the boys and then watched a movie she liked together.  She was annoyed when I came home with a train-depot flower, but I surprised her with a few other little gifts.

I got to watch the Chicago Tribune printing plant yard be switched this am, as our train stopped outside the downtown station along that big curve you've seen in all the photos of the C&NW 400s and UP-C&NW trans-con trains.  The UP pulls a long train of newsprint cars (CN, CP, Soo, WC, GTW) in with their GP20s, then pushes it back into the plant and picks up the empties. They have to keep crossing and recrossing a city street to do so. They also left some tankers for the Blommer chocolate plant..

I got the same error on Page 35.

Good morning. It's 55° and cloudy. The high will be 71. There's a 40% chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms this morning. This afternoon will see a 90% chance of thunderstorms with some storms being severe.

I feel tired today, unfocused and I'm having trouble keeping my mind on any one thing. It feels almost like my school years when ADHD ruled. Can't concentrate. Slight headache. Back to bed I guess.

Morning!

Just got done with The Sopranos and e-mail....doing dishes and cleaning up a bit...Parents arrive tonight.

Got the recycle stuff out and on the curb just in time...Have Oatmeal and hot tea for breakfast.

Later on, Princess takes another stab at the permit test....I need a novena for this....!

Probably try to do bills and IRS crap later.  Temp was supposed to be in the late 50's and I was going to break out the Harley but its cloudy and spittin' a bit so I guess that's out....

Angel Dennis for your family and the adoption.

Looks like the CTT home landscape is barren - probably due to the maintenance that occured last night.  Took me multiple times to get on this morn.

OK off to see the wizard...

Good morning all,

Could not get page 35 yesterday.  Tried to respond to a post by Chief but don't know if it went through or not so I'll try again here.

Chief, I just wanted to say that I hope your blood oxygen level being low is just a temporary thing.  I have one of those devices for measuring 02.  It is called an oximeter and measures pulse (heart beat) and oxygen level.  Mine runs around 95 in the day time but is lower at night.  That is why I have to use 02 when sleeping.  Take care of yourself.

Good afternoon all,

It is slightly warmer in SE Indiana with temps in the 40s.  Been catching up on all the posts.  RI52, when there is just the two of us, the place does not get that dirty that much and so we do not have to clean as often.  That is how I got the free time on Sunday.  Submbob, sorry to hear about the new position, but it is always good to have a plan B.  Work goes well this week.  Lots of good news in the Indy car world this week.  Hopefully Sarah will get a sponsor to run the whole season with her new driver.  Sad to hear Vitor Meira will not be competing full time this season.  Had the pleasure of meeting him once.  Very pleasant person.  TBIL and I can drive after soccer tonight.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

A Yankee I'm sure. Wink  Think things broke.  I suddenly had to sign in again and the message was they were running maintenance.  Hey, maybe site will be faster.  Glass is half full and not half empty. Yes

Extra warm.  Greenhouse fan is running off and on.  Supposed to be warmer tomorrow.

Still got fishing tresspassers at pond.  Fred and I put up camera [he had been hauling for two weeks in his pickup] so we will see.  Put it where they could see it but think it was looking at deer feeder.  Also has metal case, cable and lock.

Speaking of cameras, Midway USA has one on sale for $60.  Infrared flash.  Ordered two.  One for the rafters under the shelter and one to go up in the pecan tree behind the Box.  Smile, you are on candid camera.

Speaking of shelter.  Got up at 2:30 AM to pee.  Saw shelter motion spotlights on and motion spotlight at corner of shop [trigers when anyone enters fence].  Jumped into clothes and slipped out.  No wind so had to be a movement.  Could not find anything or anyone.  Now did not look behind things under shelter.  If anyone hiding, they saw the lazer dot bouncing off of walls, trees behind shelter and Box and all over the field behind the house.  They would have gotten the message.SurpriseAngry

Off to Raleigh to Dr. and meeting.

V8 Dennis, I was trying to reply to an earlier post of yours re posting pictures on the new ogr forum but it backfired on me and did not go through.  To answer your question, I tried it once following thier instructions with the help of my son and it worked.  Since then I have been unalble to do it again.  Maybe you will have better luck.

Sorry guys, I must confess it was I. Ashamed Black Eye

I tried to embed the clip from the local tv station since the forum software didn't like the stations call letters on the link in my earlier post, K.U.S.I. w/o the periods of course. When it seized up last nite I sent an e-mail notification to Bob so he could inform the tech crew this morning.

It is cold and damp here, rain this afternoon and the snow level down to 3,000 ft level. Local mountains had a couple inches on monday and could see 5+ tonight.

The weather here is getting nasty and the radar picture doesn't look good. I was outside working on my van seeing if I can get the automatic choke to work properly. I kept hearing this sound to the west like a long train passing. Well, the tracks here are to the east so I knew it wasn't that. One look at the sky told the story. 2:15 in the afternoon and it looked like 5:30. Heavy clouds coming from the west and the noises growing ever louder. I know it's thunder but it's steady. No a good sign. I've got everything here tied down. We'll see how it goes.

Still seeing nasty weather here with more to come. So far we've gotten heavy rain, wind and hail. The hail was pea size so more noise than anything else. More big stuff coming so it's time to duck again.

I hear that. I had a recurring hard drive problem for more than a month. I took the hard drive out and tested it five times. Checked out A+ every time. Problem turned out to be a loose connector on the EIDE cable. Replaced the cable, no more problem.

Evening all!

Chief - the resistance worked - it was 71 here at 7 pm. Sending it your way.

Jeffrey - great weathering. Sorry about the storms - unintended consequence of repelling the cold air back north - might be the reason for page 35 lockup also...Laugh

Busy week this week.

Have a great evening all!

Regards, Roy

Time for me to call it a night. Took my nightly meds plus the antibiotics the doc has me on plus my 100 unit insulin shot. I'm feeling the effects of all that and I'm still feeling strange from this morning so it's time to head for the bed. See y'all tomorrow.
