Chief,
Hanover is not too far from where my daughter lives in Elkridge. I used to live in Pasadna several miles east of Hanover on a penisula into the bay. If your up there for a special show at BP you might run into some of my old hunting buddies. If you see anyone wearing a Brooklyn Park R&G Club jacket say hey for me, especially if there 50+.

Hanover is a stones throw from the airport and reasonable access to down town via any of the main roads heading north.

Actually, I think I picked up the bug at the train show last weekend. The other thing is, out of our countys 12 residence, 9 have the flu. However I am feeling somewhat better today and went to work for a while. Have some guys working at the Cop Shop.

Good Morning All,

NE Ohio has dodge the bullet. The 3 to 5” of snow turned out to be 1 to 3” and we got about 1 ½ “. The drive to work was on wet roads and normal speeds. So March came in like a Lion, but will it go out like a lamb [?]

PI Tim – hope you are felling better.

Readhawk97 – isn’t it normal for you to have snow in Ontario [?]

Pick of the Day

all be safe

Cold [never got below freezing] for us southerners but not for Redhawk. Windy today. Off this AM to UNC Hospital for chest CT so they can say I'm fine.
Waste of my time. Got to get clothes ready for Baltimore BPS trip. Got to go to hospital in Raleigh tomorrow morning for another test to say I'm OK. Got all the Dr stuff done this week so I will be free of that for a while. Got to rush [hours drive]. God bless all.

Just a skiff of snow in Buckeye Land. Nothing close to the 6" predicted by the white death prognosticators. [:)] Our lakes are still frozen. We really didn't have any thaws during February where it rains for 10 days, so now we will get 20 days of rain, the rivers will flood and people will complain that they have lived here for 200 years and they have never seen the water this high.

The Chief is going to be out of computer range again. I might need to find more good southern jokes to post while he is out of range. [}:)][}:)][:-^][:-^][(-D][:-,][:-,] He already gave us a spanking of sorts for interfering with the toxic smoke posting. [:D][:D] We better not do that again, or he will really take us to the wood shed. [:D][:D]

Where's Jimmy Duda Day today? I sure hope he doesn't have the Texass Train Flu. [:(]

Good morning all, hope everyone is doing well.

Scratch, that is toooooooooooo much. We would be paralyzed in SoCal with your weather. The rain was bad enough.

We are at 54 today, sunny, but they say more rain is coming. Hope not.

PEtim, will resend email today.

Chief hoping all doctor visits turn out to be a waste of time for you. Keep on running them trains.

Doug M. lets be careful out there, have a safe train ride.

Redhawk, have you ever seen any O Scale engines with Algoma Central Markings in your Canadian Hobby Shops? I have ridden the Bear north from the Soo several times and always wondered if there was such an engine modeled in O Scale. Thanks.[:)]

Redhawk, look at these done in the late 70's and early 80's. All had to be hand done as Lionel only had one boxcar and GP7's in CN.

I've got more. Oh, all the boxcars, covered hoppers and etc were custom decals I ordered. One side reads Canadian and the other reads Canadien. Now I am trying to find the 2002 Lionel Dash9 [TMCC] that was CN and the tank train cars too. Really would love to have the engine. Maybe you know where one is for sale. I use to go visit a friend in Canada a lot [he died of cancer].

Snohio fell today with sun shinning and high winds. Was above freezing so it never lasted. Looked more like a dust storm. The Rebels held off the Yankee attack again. [:D] UNC Dr. told me NOT to come back again. Scar on lung was from pnuemonia and not cancer. This is what he told me a year ago. My GP still wanted it checked out. Good thing though as the earlier lung CT is how they saw some buildup around the heart. Got that fixed. What's next???? Tube down the stomach tomorrow AM. That is fine since the bypasses. Stomach pains was due to stomach not getting enough blood for digestion. Roy, SNOW headed your way. Got your cold. Nose running on left side and throat getting sore. You sent it by computer. [:(]

In three weeks. Will be home for a couple of weeks. I just added a new switch and siding and expanded the outer loop. Too easy to rearrange on the floor. [;)]

Pam told me she INSISTS that she wants her Big Chief to build a SNOW SCENE on his new table because she thinks that snow is so pretty and he will be able to think of SNOHIO all the time! I can have a figure of me made blowin' snow and I'll send it to her...

Yes, I agree. Jimmy blowing snow on the Chief's layout would be a very suitable scene for our southern friend who thinks a day below 70 is cold.
