Doug, you are on!  I'll be by right after we burn something at a certain lakeside property (brush and some rotten wood and leaves from the woods, not a certain cabin!) and help you with that beverage!

Jim SP -- I really liked that trolley - it looks like S Gauge to me, right?  I'm doing a Halloween trolley layout this weekend with the kids.

I like to color. Working through college websites with the daughter tonight - she is interested in some small schools in Ohio... Hope to run trains later when they set to watch TV. I am also eager to hear from our Yorkies...

Great job on the GG1, Kurt, looks like new.

Oh, well - it's easier to type <font size = 5> than have all those windows open isn't it?  And paste and click and click and...  Plus, once you do that, you are good to go.

Yeah, me to Doug!  Hey, sounds like a yummy dinner!

Kurt - GREAT GG1 work, you rock man!

Sir James worked today so folks from his LHS could do York.

Hey, have you heard of XAML?  I used to play around with VB5 and 6, but now it's .Net and I don't have that.  I'm looking for something I can use to write some very small utilities, nothing big or complicated or EXPENSIVE....

EVENING ALL, long day for me, not used to that anymore. Biggest problem at the store is he has a stack of preorders and people calling about delivery dates and nothing is coming in. And when your only product to sell is trains you need new stock. So I can not tell you about the new trains as there are none. So Brutus get the guys and lets have some banilla with rootbeer...S.J.

Evening all!

Reporting in from York. Had a great dinner this evening with Buckeye, Brent, Suzie-Q, JEFelectric, Wes, and the Fifer. Brent, Suzie-Q, and Fife all drove in for dinner with Buckeye and Wes. We talked about the Chief, GRITS, the Chief, Fife's retirement plans, Wes being the youngest person at York in an electric scooter, the Chief, and more GRITS. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Spent the day wandering York with JEF, Buckeye, and Wes. Buckeye bought out Ma & Pa Trains Williams products (obviously price was no object).

Looking forward to tomorrow and the 12:00 CTT photo op (outside the Orange Hall of course!).

Have a great day tomorrow all!.

Regards, Roy

SOX  Thumbs Down

Morning.  Thought I would get Jack's blood boiling early this AM.  Going to hit the road after shower and breakfast.  Think I will wonder north by retired pilot buddy's house.  Then go home.  Have not seen WC but think it might be suppose to rain today.  Been watching Fox News.  Hope all the bums in York have a great time.  Later

Roy,
Yes it appeared a good time was had by all - including our very own queen bee (she showed up to keep us in order and even took the opportunity to inform her loving husband that he looks like dog poo in photos). And for those that were waiting with baited anxiety - yes SusieQ received her chocolates and flowers.

SusieQ was worried she would receive something like this:

But Buckeye pulled through and surprised her with her own O-Gauge flower garden:

Enjoyed all the stories that were shared... only problem was that time didn't allow for a longer visit.

Looking forward to hitting the pavement on Saturday searching for the few items on my list of must haves.

BOSTON RED SOX 8        BAD GUYS 7.

Following the greatest post season single game comeback in 79 years (down 7-0 in the bottom of the 7th to a walk-off win in the bottom of the 9th).......Now down 3 games to 2 and still on the edge of elimination, entering into enemy Tampa's home field turf for game 6, and a Thumbs Down from Chief.  It doesn't get any better than that.  Time to feast on the Rays. Dinner

It ain't over till the Roseyville Mayor sings, a terrifying thought.  Thumbs Up

GOOD MORNING ALL

A quick hello before I leave for the store. Not much news from York about the tables, strange, maybe no one remembers.

Enjoy your day....S.J.

Good Morning,

Like I mentioned yesterday a fellow toll collector had a very bad dayBlack Eye, almost halfway through her shift Kim L. got taken away by the State Police for theft and ticket fraud. Sad thing is that her boyfriend can't bail her out unless he wants to violate his parole as he just got out of prison less then six months ago.

Getting ready for train show, have to go to bank for money change for show. Will let you know monday or tuesday how it went.

Morning all. Clearing but cold. Fall has fallen. I'm sure we had frost somewhere. Ran the trains last night - after looking at colleges with the daughter - she is interested in one in Tiffin, OH and Canton, OH... Sounds like York is fun. Can't wait to see photos.

Great baseball game last night - I listened on the radio - just electrifying. Jack, the mayor is selling / renting / leasing Midway airport for 99 years - it'll yield him a chunk of change for his Olympics. Never mind it's a very ugly deal.

Walsh.  It looks like a nice place.

Lee, a former toll collector here stole so much he was nicknamed 'Quarters' - he went off to jail temporarily but was so politically radioactive that he soon popped up in charge of somethng else vague for the city.
