He could be, but I couldn't tell b/c my monitor didn't display the pic right for a while.  Maybe he is hanging on...I wondered why he'd be hosing a tank car off.

Shazam...what a slow night.  I guess I'll keep the cheese/sausage/crackers out for a bit longer to see if anyone is gonna pop in.

Will sneak in and out quietly this morning.  We may have a cold front coming and don't want to make any waves.

Somewhere in a dream last nite, I happened to be in a strange place outdoors, looking at a lot of dirt and Sir Chicken showed up in his truck and handed me a rusty can of tuna.  Then drove off.  Wonder what a dream analyst would do with that!  Maybe he is really on an dig and found an artifact.  I will leave it on the imaginary table.  Not sure about the expiration date.....

Funny for today - local man robbed convenience store and got caught.  Last name?  Dumschott.  You can't make these things up.

Good Wednesday morning, Mookie and everyone!  Nice warm morning here this morning.  We are in our 17th day of this heat wave, and may have a 20, 30% chance of a little bit of rain tomorrow or Friday, I think they're saying.  Supposed to be another record breaking high for today.

Coffee is ready, as well as fresh juices, iced tea and lemonade.

Got some coffee cake, muffins, bear claws and bagels out on the breakfast bar for breakfast.

Mookie, better beware of rusty cans of tuna!!

Think I'll head out to the garden, for a few, before it turns hotter than a firecracker outside!

Everyone have a great day, and stay as cool and safe as possible.

I've fixed some nice, cool cold cuts sandwiches for lunch today, along with some garden salads, which have some turkey, ham and shredded cheese in them.  Figured no one would want a whole lot of hot food, as 'warm' as it is outside.  The sandwiches and salads are on the breakfast bar, which has been loaded with crushed ice, to keep everything nice and cold.  Bags of various potato chips and pretzels are on the counter.

If anyone has any requests for supper tonight, please let me know!!  And does anyone know of someone who can do an actual RAINDANCE for us all, to get at least a little bit of relief?!?!  (With my knees, I don't think I could do a very good raindance right now!!) Wink [;)]

Joe - heard on radio that someone is sueing a city because a toddler about 18 mos was burned going down a slide.  The sun had been shining on it and it was really hot.

Uh - where was the adult to check the slide first?  Probably busy calling her lawyer to see how much she could gouge out of the city.....

It seems that nobody is responsible for their own behavior any more.  Everyone else should check on everything else but then it's an invasion of privacy.  Where do all of these people get their stupid pills?  Maybe they're made in China.

Bob, you suggestion was kind of right on track!!  Mutt  made his spaghetti casserole for supper tonight.  And there's plenty of salad to go with it.  Did not turn the oven on, to bake garlic bread or garlic Texas toast.  You'll have to substitute plain ole bread tonight.  Sorry about that!!

Joe and Lance, there are containers in  the fridge, for you guys to take to work tonight.

Dan, some people out there, will gladly assume someone can/will pay for their mistakes.  And if their 'stupid pills' came from China, they better make darn sure they don't have lead in them!!

They make tuna cans from recycled tin shoes?

Bank thermometer and survey thermometer both say 108 Degrees...pulled my gunner (Vito, and yes he has a violin case) in at 3PM and then will go back out at 6pm when it cools off to about 100. (and the asphalt goes from goo back to solid)Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]Dead [xx(]

CW. Since you mentioned it, look at apple juice on the shelves. Minute Maid, Welch, and Ocean Spray all say the concentrate come from China, Poland, Argentina ETC. I saw Tree Top brand and called the 800 number. Nice lady said Tree Top is from WA ID or OR. However one year they did use other concentrate due to late freeze. Then it clearly stated that on the bottle, just below the cap. Just thought I would pass this on.

Plenty of salad in the fridge, so help yourself.  And here's a super large glass of sweet tea!!

Her hair is getting blonde, but in the light it's a reddish blonde. Her hair is why Daddy calls her "lil Bit of Sunshine"

no salad today...just tea...and soda...and water...and keep it coming! It is so muggy here

Good Thursday morning, to all!  Another hot, miserable day ahead. Bob, thanks for the info!  Duff, good to see you in here.  Give Sadie Girl a big ole hug for us all, o.k?

Coffee is ready, as well as fresh juices, fresh iced tea, lemonade, along with replenished Gatorade, various flavors, including mudchicken's preferred blue.

On the breakfast bar this morning:  fresh pineapple, muffins (blueberry, cherry, oatbran, etc.), sausage patties on made from scratch biscuits, and cold cereal (Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Fruity Pebbles, Special K, etc.), bagels and bear claws.

Local fire department already busy this morning:  cement truck lost brakes, and ran into the side of an Air National Guard building, causing a fire.  Miracle of miracles, the driver got out of the truck, and walked away from the truck.

Think I'll take my coffee and a couple of biscuit & sausage sandwiches and head out to the garden for a spell.

Hey Dan!!  How'd we manage to miss each other in this kitchen?!?!  It's not  that large, that two or more people can be in here, without running into each other!!

Check in your profile (at the top of the page where your screen name is listed) under what time zone you are in.

Mook I'm only 250 lbs...it's not that much.  I was playing softball a while back and jumped over the shortstop who decided to lay on the baseline between 2nd and 3rd.  The ump watched me hang in the air for a bit (I was in a dead sprint) and then come to a quick stop at 3rd.  He started to chuckle and I asked what was so funny.  He said "For such a big guy, you move good!"  I said What, you've never seen 1/8th ton levitate before?"  He almost fell over laughing.  Laugh [(-D]  I guess you had to be there.  Sigh [sigh]

We're supposed to have a high of 75 today.  That's getting better.  I'd prefer snow and 25 but some would label me as a 'loony' for that!
