What do you use to hunt a house? .30-06 seems a little small, maybe a .450 Marlin or .458 Weatherby. Bet you'll have to shoot it more than once.

We're still talking about FOOD?
Nothing wrong with that, as long as you also cook whatever you're talking about![8D]

I'll have it to go - sounds like a good bed time snack.....

Reminds me of a visit to an Augusta, GA firehouse. Got there just in time for a delicious beef dinner, with cornbread baked in cast iron.... Mouth watering just thinking about it.[:p]

Hey-3:30 in the afternoon? Everybody knows there are no trains on those tracks at that time of the afternoon.
Good thing it wasn't my trip (#3), I'd have sued the surviving SOB for delay of trip!!!

Does sound good, doesn't it? Fill up on that, and have a good piece of
pie for dessert, "who could ask for anything more"?

Getting ready to watch a movie at 4:45: The Santa Clause 2 on Starz.
Took locomutt to the theatre two years ago on his birthday to see it.
Now we will get to see it again.

Mookie, I slept just fine last night: slept so good, I awakened at 4:45 EST,
couldn't go back to sleep so got up, and turned on the coffee. Laid back
down at 7:45, woke up about 9:15 or so. Locomutt's gone back to sleep.

How about a BIG ole pot of homemade beef vegetable soup w/cornbread
today? Think I'll make some beef stew while I'm at it. What's not eaten
can be put in the freezer for another day, right? For dessert, there will
be peanut butter pie (my sister makes great ones), pecan pie, and
homemade chocolate pie. (Can you tell I'm in a "pie" mood?

Sniff....smells good in here - CW couldn't sleep again - and I can tell that from 1/2 way across the country!

Feeling Frisky! Like cooler weather. Can always put on clothes. Can't take off a lot - scares the neighbors and the animals!

Have some unusual ear warmers. Have Ear Bags - they have a flexible stay inside them and open up to go over the ears - then pop back into shape to hold them on your ears. Look Ma, no bands.

Then have ear muffs with a band that goes behind the head, so you don't have "ridge head".

And some skiers flaps - you stick the legs of your sunglasses (in my case my glasses) in the slits and put your glasses back on, the flaps cover your ears and you velcro the straps behind your head. Got them in two colors - black for me and red for driver.

So got ready for work. Put on my Forest Green winter coat. Grabbed the red ones. Off we went.

Looked like an olive!

Good Thursday morning! It's nice and COLD this morning. So
for breakfast you will have you choice:

Bacon, eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, fried potatoes,
hot oatmeal and your choice of regular toast or
cinnamon toast. Also have plenty of coffee and hot chocolate.

Cherokee woman- UMMMM! Chili sounds so good! I need something to warm me up after geting rid of the snow. Crystal Lake got 2 1/2" at least. Can I get an peanut butter sandwich though?
Better make it to go, I have to catch up on the rest of my work.

Mike

Are you sure you can handle five alarm chili[?][}:)] It is nice and
HOT!!

Sounds like a good warm up to me. Wet and rainy and nasty highwinds today and tonight...

LC

I LOVE hot chili!! It definitley warms ya up on a cold winter night especially when the wind is howling across the plain into the neighbor hood making the windchill almost -20. Plus in will clear the sinuses and get a little relief fron this darn cold!!

Howdy all!! Been a while since I last stopped in here. Been busy with school work and all, so I don't get much time on the forums, and what I do I've been reading other topics. Could use some chili to warm me up, been a little cold around here in WI. Had about a half inch of snow, but it melted within a day. But it still has been frosting every morning, and really cold too. Well, slide that chili, and a nice tall glas of milk, and--lets see-- a peice of peanut butter pie down here too, I"m hungry![dinner]
