You got it! With mayo or ranch?

Mookie

I agree with you about taking care of pets. However, when I grew up on the farm, our pets stayed outside, finding places in the dairy barn or other out buildings. Being outside all the time allows them to become conditioned to for weather changes, but we always took care to provide shelter and dry bedding of some kind. The cats did a nice job of taking care of the field mice.

We'll try to send the cold back north. Don't want it here, either (5 pm and a whole 17 degrees...). Lake Effect Snows in Syracuse most of the day.

CW is a little under the 'weather' today and probably won't be in.

O^~^O

Got my earmuffs on this morning...there is a flake or two out there.

And the word flake brings up Sir Mudchicken's posting about feral cats.

I have a lot I could say about humans and animals, but not being a PETA radical, I will just zipper it. But.....if all humans would spay/neuter and keep cats in the house and dogs on a leash, would this even be a topic for discussion. Cats do just fine and actually live longer when kept in the house. (except when they play "rug" and lay right out of line of sight over the laundry basket you are carrying!)

It's called responsible pet ownership. Just like kids, pets are not furniture and they are not throw aways.

Amen

Let's eat! [dinner]

MC- That story was in the Janesville paper yesterday and I was thinking about passing it on to her. I wasn't worried about claws, but have you ever seen a herd of cats armed with shotguns?

(That guy has a lot of guts. Ill bet there have already been death threats from PETA types.)

That sounds a LOT like how we've been doing.
I've had the sniff and snot for awhile, sure wish I didn't.
Wish I could find an "allergy" pill that would do that for me.

I was out in the cool morning air (<20) to get the car fixed this morning. Dealer did a great job--no charge (we're 400 miles under the warranty limit!).

But I'm not a morning person--so if I can get an orange I'll devour it and go back to bed. Like my sister says...@

Good morning everyone. Nice chilly day today; our high is not supposed to be
more than about 35 degrees today.

Breakfast will be: oatmeal and toast, sausage, turkey bacon, biscuits and
gravy, grits, cream of wheat, and cereal.

Lunch will be regular menu selections, with a special of chilli. Also, will
have meatloaf sandwiches.

Supper will be: regular supper menu with a special of chicken and
dumplings.
