Well yesterday was a smashing day in lower SE. A UV reading of 15 on a scale of 1-15. Temp mid 80's. Today is supposed to be a duplicate of yesterday except because of some clouds around & the UV will "only" be 12 or 13. Again mid 80's. Last nite clam bake was cancelled due to several of the invitees were involved in a auto acident & wound up in the hospital & we all went to the hospital. Nothing life threatening thankfully.

Good Sunday morning, everyone. Temps here in Lou., KY today are to
get to 61! Breakfast will be good ole country breakfast this morning:
Country fried steak, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy,
grits for those who like them, and grape and strawberry jelly to go on
a couple of biscuits. It's all laid out on the warmer trays.

Hi all,

From time to time I have mentioned that my step daughter plays clarinet with the US Army Field Band. I know a few of the members enjoy a wide range of music and if close to a concert stop may want to catch a performance. The spring tour starts March 11 with a concert in Gainsville, FL, works north to St Sault Marie, then makes several stops in the UP, WI, and MN, before swinging south of Chicago and heading east. This will be Melissa's last tour as she is leaving the Army when she and her husband bring in the second grand baby for the clan in July.

Details and more on the band at http://www.army.mil/fieldband/

If you go to a concert ask to meet Melissa Lander and tell her I sent you.

Good morning, everyone! Looks like we're going to have a COOL (temp-
wise) day today. So for breakfast, maybe this will help warm you up a
bit: pancakes with sausage or turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, and plenty
of maple syrup to pour over the pancakes.

Lunch will be: meatloaf sandwiches that you can take with you to go
railfanning. Or any other sandwich you want.

Supper: PIZZA and salad.

For dessert, there is lemon-lime sherbet.

Go for it, Sis! My bike is in the shop for its annual tuneup, so I'm missing out on a good day to bike into work. I'll have to get off the train one stop short and walk in! Our temperatures are only going into the 40s today, and the weekend doesn't look promising, but I'll enjoy today's sunshine.

Looking forward to having your feline curiosity amply demonstrated next Monday!

Joe, your supper sounds gooood! I'll take a plate of pork chops and green
beans. I've taken Mookie's advise today, and my knee is feeling some
better: swelling has gone down some, and I can actually bend the knee
now, WITHOUT pain.

Sounds like a great supper.
Would do the "milk- Oreo" routine, but am slighty 'lactose intolerant',
Although it sounds good.(can do sherbet reasonably well)[:D]

Virtual Oreos comin' up. Milk is cold.

Don't forget to twist the tops off and well, you know what to do with them! Then dunk!

That's the professional way.

And don't worry about the dribble goin' down your chin - makes you look even cuter!

Late start this morning - had to wait to check the mail before I came to work. Stuff in the mail I needed for a meeting tonight.

One order of Oreos and milk, for my mid-morning snack...
