Jim has a dishwasher, and NO it is not Dutchess. [;)] It's name is G E. Funny thing though, my TOASTER is a Proctor-Silex. GE seems to be putting the "Toasters" on wheels these days. [;)] My icebox is a GE and came from Appliance Park. I bet Locomut and Cherokee Woman can tell us where that is. I wonder how many people know of the "dirty dishes" (tricks) a certain appliance maker used to help put a certain loco maker out of business. Yes, folks, there is a lot of dirty laundry hidden in the closet of certain appliance makers. [:0] [B)] [8]

Was busy in the kitchen last night and didn't get to watch final four action too closely, but it looked like Louisville hung in there a good bit of the game. Coming from a Big Ten state, you may wonder why I am not rooting for the conference rep. Call it a Wisconsin Illinois thing. Besides I like underdogs and Cinderella teams. However, this year the final is between a couple of titans. It would be nice if the final game has some real excitment.

Jim, Welcome back. I have been told that as Founder, Chairman and CEO of the DD&CS, we need to consult you on expansion ideas. When you have a chance, your comments on the proposals?

Psssst, Hey you, yes you.

I just heard a rumor that Jim just got his computer all fixed up and is back on the internet. So keep a watch out for him. You wouldn't want to get caught in the same topic with him, never know what might happen. [:0] Oh, and pass it on. [;)]

Had Chili Deluxe at Steak and Shake for lunch though it can't beat Cincinati Chili 5-way

Had French beans and rice and some kind of white fish . . .
"There is nothing in life that compares with running a locomotive at 80-plus mph with the windows open, the traction motors screaming, the air horns fighting the rush of incoming air to make any sound at all, automobiles on adjacent highways trying and failing to catch up with you, and the unmistakable presence of raw power. My airbrushes are at the ready also,so lets get it done.

The Pope has passed away today unfortunately. I am not religious never mind Catholic but I still respected him and saw his kindness and his goodness that went beyond religion. He trully was a good man; the world has lost a great man but heaven has gained a great soul.

Yeah, a little body work, maybe we could locate trucks, put it on the express track.

How did we make out moneywise with the Diner & Coffee Shop? If we are going to expand, maybe we could also pick up a well decked out private car with open rear platform. Offer gourmet meals at exorbitant prices and use the car for fan trips.

We could promote Mookie to GM as I understand she has that kind of experience. Jen, we will guarantee no more than 38 hours a week, all the benefits and throw in housing with no neighbors in shouting distance. Any Chance?

Jay

Sounds good, Jay; but I think we need to contact the diner's owner:
you know, Jim (jhhtrainsplanes) I'll try to call him tomorrow.

That addition looks like an old McKeen car--it would be interesting to see what the opposite end looks like. By all means, add it to the diner!

Good morning everyone. Breakfast this morning will be the big ole
country type: your choice of bacon, eggs, biscuits & gravy, grits,
rice, oatmeal, toast, or cereal with fruit.

After that big breakfast, you probably won't want much lunch, so
lunch will be soup and sandwiches.

Supper tonight will be meat loaf and shellie beans w/potatoes,
and cole slaw.

Methinks my landlord would have been enjoying it first hand as well....

Ah Mooks is a mush! I was the only one they woke - well, the real Mookie looked terrified!

But they didn't wake the Driver and that is always cause for celebration.

The landcouple said to call, even in the middle of the night, but I wouldn't do that to even the neighbors if I knew they were asleep. So.....

My solution is to keep a diary - and if it happens again - I will have a running record of the offenses. Then submit to landcouple and neighbors are history.

I am trying to be fair as possible. A little noise is to be expected. And, hey, they were told to keep down the stereo in the car, so when they went out to listen to it, you could hear it a lot less! [}:)]

A word to all people that live close to other people - doors should be shut quietly - not slammed. If you don't want your neighbors to hear your dirty laundry, don't wash it in public at the top of your lungs! And put your young children to bed at a decent hour - 1 am is not decent!

I am taking tomorrow off on vacation - getting my attitude adjusted, too!

[soapbox]

Mookie I saw this and thought of you...
