Joe, I've had my bowl of chicken & dumplings; now I'm ready for dessert.
So, I'll take my ice cream now, please, and thank you very, very much!
The cold will help my voice, and I'm now talking a tad bit louder than a
soft whisper.

And go Reds!!!

Having had an interest in the Reds for 35 years now, it seem like they usually get off to a so-so start.[sigh]

The BIG RED MACHINE of the 1970's were so much fun to watch.[swg]

[C=:-)]The chicken is just about ready to take out of the water, and let cool.
I'll soon be getting ready to make up the dumpling dough, roll it out (with a
rolling pin) very thin, poke it full of holes (to keep the dumplings from being
too fat), and cutting it into strips to add to the cream of chicken soup. Never
use the water from boiling the chicken. Throw it out, wash pot, and put in
two large family size cans of cream of chicken soup.[C=:-)]

Tree: Haven't read the whole article yet, but I think I said before something about an apple and falling from a tree - I think both of you should be very proud!

BC - Para-biking? Whole new sport?

And just remember - Spring has sprung. And for the ones of us not suffering, Fall is not that far away! (We should all learn to sleep standing up - I bet it would alleviate a lot of sore throats that way)

Larry,
Very interesting article about your daughter;did print it out,but think I'm
going to have to use the magnifying glass to really read it in depth.[^]

Mookie,I'm not 'laughing' too hard,I basicly had the same thing a couple
of weeks ago.
Seems we've been buying a lot of notepads recently.[:O]
(CW says she could probably do better,if she closes her eyes.)

We should put a sign outside - "World's Only Diner Mime!".

I can hear Mutt laughing in the background about you yelling at him!

You have the same hand/eye coordination I do! I need to close my eyes to throw anything!

CW - are you mute, today?

Mookie: yep, I'm "mute" today. Can't talk above a very soft whisper. Mutt's
been very bad lately, and I've lost my voice from having to yell at him. He's
glad I've lost my voice because that means I can't YELL at him: only on
paper can I yell!

If I throw a blue plate special, it'll probably be like when I throw a frizzbee:
it'll go in the oposite direction I want it to go!!

Think I will make a big pot of chicken and dumplings today? That o.k.
with everyone?

For those that may be interested, an article about my daughter's upcoming trip to Africa. (Click on the highlighted words.) You'll probably have to print it off or save it and open it in a graphics program to read it. IE sizes it to fit the page, and you can't read it then.

every week, tax our food, gas, and household items we have to buy, and then
every April 15th, we have to have pay taxes again!![:(!][:(!][banghead][banghead]

Supper tonight will be something easy, like breakfast. So we'll
have bacon and eggs with toast. and some hashbrowns.

No to the June Bugs - there are a few bugs I prefer not to deal with and that is one of them.

And - I knew CW would agree!

And.....since I am just a fount of useless knowledge - the larvae of June Bugs - Grub Worms .....well we used to use them in fishing. Not as good as nightcrawlers, but got them out of the garden!

Moo-icky....

Mook,
Ever tied a string,or thread around one of their legs and watch them fly around?
(June Bugs)

Now careful about the 'Pilgrims',they brought us turkey.
