catch, clean, cook and eat! Yes, I have pulled skin off bullheads with a pair of pliers - have been gouged by a sharp fin, put worms on a hook and can clean just about any pan fish, including scraping scales off. Only thing I can't do is cast worth a darn. Seem to be perfecting tree fishing!

Mook,
I was about 4-5 yrs old,my great aunt took me fishing(what a fisherwoman!)
She was trying to show me how to 'cast';no trees in the area, but would seem my very first catch was some hair.(Her's)[:I]

She died several years ago at the great age of 101.[:(]
Well, I will hope that my fishing ability will carry me to great old age! Unless the driver drowns me after the umpteenth time having to get me "unsnagged"! The man should have a patience award!

Good morning everyone. Breakfast this morning is cereal: Corn Flakes,
Raisin Bran, Fruity Pebbles, Cheerios, and oatmeal with whole wheat
toast, and turkey bacon.

Well........

Forecast: wind, rain - up to a quarter of an inch, possible tornado - doom, gloom and bloom!

What we really got - a rain smell and a little wind. [sigh]

MC - our weather came from Ed instead of you! And it only really got to the Kan/Neb boarder - now headed east.

But......Amtrak was on time going west! [^]

Brian and LM, my heroes. Also have been to Crosley and Riverfront, but have yet to see G-A-B.........[bow][bow][bow]

Wind finally quit here (gusts to 70 MPH), had semi trailer trucks blown over on I-70 and UP had an empty bulkhead flat set sail through the backtracks on an idustrial lead, crossed two streets w/o incident, but did a number on a track bumper....Brand new convention center now has "scars" and misssing fascia and the Chinooks had not even started.

Brian,
Not sure about the cost of parking for "Reds" games.
When Dad And I would go to 'opening day' games,
we had to park 20 blocks away.
And that was at Crosley Field,not "Riverfront",or G.A B.
I have been in both Crosley and "RiverFront",never been in G.A. B.

Cincy has always been my choice of MLB (National League) teams.

Joe
You can't just have any cheese coneys. You've got to have SKYLINE CHILI coneys. Better eat them before you go to any games. They had a list on one of the news sites here about the increase in food. And you're better off this year not to park close to the stadium. When we go to the games, we park over in Covington and walk across the suspension bridge(I call it the singing bridge). It's about 5-7 bucks and a nice walk over the Ohio River.

If you want a good place to eat and watch trains, go into Covington, 1st exit and eat at Riverfront Pizza (hoagies are the best) or Skyline. You can watch the trains over the C&O bridge while you eat.

This is some excerpts here from Channel 5 news here:
On average, a bottle of beer will cost about $6. A large pop will cost $4.50, a hot dog will cost $3.50 and a slice of pizza will cost $5. Nachos will cost about $5 and peanuts will cost $3.75.

Some fans paid $30 for parking across from the stadium and one garage was full by 1 p.m. But less than one mile from the stadium, the price was $20 less.

"I saw (a sign for) $10, I pulled in and it's worth paying $10 instead of driving around looking for a spot to park on the street," said Mike Nammari, a Reds fan.

Go Cincinnati!!!!

Well folks: making it here in time for lunch today. Went for produce this
morning: got 2 dozen extra large eggs, whole box of yoplait , and the
lettuce and salad mix. Will make up some [}:)]eggs for supper. Think
we'll have some spinach to go with the [}:)] eggs, and will have
liver and onions for Mutt and anyone else who doesn't like spinach.

Larry, you have to get together with Mook--take that from somebody who has. You'll convert her to becoming a Tree-hugger in no time!

I guess I need to order a small slice of Humble Pie from the diner--everything was good about that game except the outcome.
