I can't leave, I've gotta go out and shovel every two hours to keep up with it.[:D]

It's supposed to stop snowing tommorrow morning (rush hour = slush hour?)

Watched a bunch of bewildered rabbits and robins trying to deal with the snow. We are at 2 feet now with 4 more inches coming tonight. It's not a blizzard, but a classic "upslope" storm with the wind blowing moisture to the west from Kansas (opposite direction than the wind normally blows). Kinda bizzare to see snow coating the east side of the house up to two inches thick.

Thanx for the cider!

Espeefoamer, whatever you want fixed, Mutt will grill it for you!
He has a special sauce he uses, which he concocted all on his
own!!

Hope Mudchicken is o.k. out in Denver. Sometime Tuesday, or
Wednesday, we're supposed to get more rain and/or thunder-
storms. After all this good weather for the weekend, watch out
for the old saying: "All good things must come to an end."

WOW it seems like MC is in a major bind there. Well over here in the southeastern part of good old PA we are experiencing great weather. It went up to a good 70 degrees F. I'm glad the weather is like this now I can pitch a chair, sit back and watch some trains. We did have a flash flood last weekend though, flooding occured all around my area and then some. One of the streets which is only 5mins from my house turned into a river. I've never seen anything like that before. The rivers were rushing hard (Susquehanna, Delaware, and Schuylkill). I thought that was a nice site to see. The Susquehanna rose to 25 ft during that storm!

Breakfast this morning will be: turkey bacon, eggs (scrambled or fried),
sausage, biscuits and gravy, gritts, grape jelly.

Lunch/supper will be: whatever you tell me you want, fixed on the grill.
Too nice and beautiful a day to be stuck indoors, so we'll eat outside
today.

Well, of course, I don't grill them without bbq sauce,
or something on them: I don't want them to stick to
the grill, and be all dried out. Mutt is really the grillmaster,
but I do grill some; and did grill out a little bit before I
met him.

Supper tonight will be your choice of grilled chicken breasts, or
chicken & dumplings. Made some iced tea (sweetened & un-
sweetened), and there'll be potato wedges to go with the grilled
chicken.

Carl,
sounds like a good decision, just take care of yourself.
We are supposed to have temps in the 70s today, and may
reach 80 tomorrow.
We have hade such 'crazy' weather this season, that it is making
'us' crazy people; 'crazier'.[censored][%-)]

Calling in today, because I don't dare come in person--terrible cold! The weather outside is lovely; we've got forsythia and daffodils in bloom. But I'm staying indoors for the day.

We see ours every morning in the bathroom sink, head cranked over 180 degrees, trying to drink from the faucet.....How do cats do that without hurting themselves?

One of the local Italiano restaurantes here serves a mean kitchen sink salad. El Gato Mookster most likely is alergic to water, like most cats, so we asked for something we could eat in peace.

Might try to cut that scrawny stuff that is supposed to become a lawn here next weekend along with replacing a few shingles I just found while loading the birdfeeder. Go to school tomorrow morning in a truck, come home tomorrow night with a dogsled?

Not actually sure how 'cats' do that. I think they are contortionists.
After all, they do have a way of 'hiding' in the strangest places!
We have one that does that also.
(actually two,one trys to drink from the sink, the other one pulls a
very good 'vanishing' act.)

The 'kitchen sink salad' sounds good, but just so long as no one trys to toss it.

Thank you, Joe, for putting out the coffee and juice. Breakfast this morning
will be your choice of the following:

tukey bacon, scrambled or fried eggs, fried potatoes, oatmeal and toast,
sausage, biscuits and gravy, grits, cream of wheat.

Breakfast special: bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy.

Lunch will be sandwiches and fries, so you all can sit out at the picnic
table and watch trains.

Supper still in the "thinking" stage, so will get back to you with the
supper menu.
