Good morning, everyone. Time to start a new day today. Breakfast
this morning will be all the usual items.

Lunch and supper special will be the boiled cabbage, with some
corned beef. And there is plenty of lasagna left also.

Everyone have a good day, and take care out there.

SJ, I mentioned the "travel alarm" to my daughter with the baby and cats--she likes it, but thinks she'd prefer the one that she heard about--the second time you hit the snooze it falls apart, and you have to put it back together to silence the alarm!

Hellooooo everyone! Finally made it in today. First thing this morning,
got up and went for produce. Really good things today: cabbage, cole
slaw mix, lettuce, mushrooms, and potatoes.

Supper tonight will be lasagna and garlic toast. Tomorrow: I'll be
making a big pot of boiled cabbage
for you all (and Mutt, here at home).
Know there are several of you in here who like boiled cabbage.

Sorry I missed lunch - so no chicken. Will season it up tonight and it'll be ready for lunch on Thursday (has to sit and soak for a couple of days). That smoke you see behind the diner on Thursday morning will smell really good!

Should have stayed in bed--starchaser has already gotten me ticked off.

Anything barbecued for lunch today?

Is that a 'new' Ronco product ?
3,5,or 10 pound size ?[:D][}:)]

"Real railroaders" use the 16 pound version, like the two "circuit breakers" I have in my truck.[:D] (Mundy = Maul = Sledgehammer), then again, I do also have a 12# track/spike maul with a bophammer handle.

I think Joe has the Gallagher autograph model![:p]

ps to Mookie: if one of those "clocky" hummers shows up around here, the scottie will kill it! BossHen can't get me moving some mornings, even with a howitzer going off next to my ear. (but a liberal sprinkling of doggie treats and two terriers works every time!)

[:0][:0][:0]

I had forgotten about the 'larger' versions. I'm quite partial to my 3# one,
(short handle),only use the larger one,well..........................(long handle)

Not sure about that clock,I think the cats would ignore it,but the dog
is another story. (I'm betting on the dog)[:D]

Found a funny in the paper I heard on the radio yesterday, but got the details from the paper.

I hit the floor running in the morning. Driver takes forever to get up. For people like him and maybe you - they have an alarm clock now that you can hit snooze once. Then if you still haven't turned it off, it will go off again and then go off - literally. It has wheels and a motor that will make it run away from you. And it is programmed to go in different directions and different speeds each time, so you have to get up and hunt it down!

It's called a Clocky and MIT has it for now. Watch for it. I think it will be great fun in our house!

No word from the real Mookie on how she will react to it - but as usual - will probably run and hide!

Mz Mookie will not be in the pagent this year. She is giving someone else a chance......

Rain, beautiful, gentle rain. Finally. If the rain that was forcast would have fallen - we would be flooded. Rained all evening and a little during the nite. Slow, soaker!

Having a breakfast of cold cereal and a banana - you can smack the spoon in the milk and make it splash and fling the banana across the room with your spoon! (I watched Nanny 911 last nite - again reaffirming why I don't watch much tv! The noise alone gave me a headache!)

Off to find a warm spot and a blanket.....
