Now that the lunch/dinner rush is over, think I can begin planning the
supper menu. Tonight we will have as specials:

1. meatloaf, mashed potatoes w/gravy and green beans.
2. beef liver and onions
3. pork tenderloin with cabbage and deviled eggs.

Mookie,
I feel for ya. I've been having a leg cramp problem lately myself. There's nothing like waking up in pain.

Almost forgot - when I got that huge cramp in my leg - I was going for a ride in the cab of a locomotive. Was just getting comfortably settled in, when it hit! True story. Sure screws up a good dream!

Rustled around in the fridge and got myself something really early this morning - so just coffee right now. I will sit here with you and we will observe the hungry people as they stroll in....Mutt? Check on the cinnamon rolls in the oven....CW, isn't this fun!

Mookie, sorry to hear that you are hobbling around today. Bet that
snap-kick really hurt! You have a seat, and Mutt and I will wait on
you today. How's that sound? What would you like for your breakfast?
Along with a nice hot cuppa java.

^~^ (got my fur recolored..) I think I like ^~^ better.

Hobbling today - lost two legs overnite. Massive cramp in one leg on right and a front snap-kick to a left one from behind. Fortunately he can do karate asleep - or I would have been really injured instead of a toenail scratch. Gotta take up a martial art - maybe "kitty boxing".....

Good morning! Yes, Kevin Keefe has been invited to come to the Diner, but
I guess so far, he hasn't had the opportunity to come in.

Breakfast today will be: turkey bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, toast, juice, &
oatmeal (very good for our hearts).

Lunch will be beef stew made from the leftover roast, potatoes, carrots.

Supper menu: haven't decided that yet. Maybe I'll think on that for a couple
hours and get back to everyone.

Supper tonight was "feel good food", Steak and Scrambled Eggs, hash browns, toast and iced tea in the hotel here in Las Vegas where I am for the week attending a big convention. Got to keep the carbs up so I can keep my energy level for six hours a day in our booth.

Joe - Mookie confines her lurking to a very small area.

Anyone seen Tom and his hurt face?

Gotta go get some cantaloupe - I love that stuff. Eat the inside and you have a helmet......(picture cat w/helmet, not human...like the picture of the cat with a grapefruit helmet....)

OK Carl it's now offically less than 24 hours until you are here in Philadelphia!!! Hay wait a minute why am I saying this because your already on Amtrak :):) I can't wait!!!!!!!! AMG.

I hate to say this but, since I've stoped in the diner pretty late tonight I wasn't able to eat breakfast lunch or din din. :( I think part of the reason for that is because I took out some of my restlessness about Carl arriving, out on my bike. I went mountain biking (really forest biking) in Fairmount Park which is called Valley Green by us Philadelphians. I was worn out after that one, some of the grades got really steep not to mention the jaged rocks pretueding on the path. I did stop at three train stations on the way to Valley Green just to watch some Septa power run through. Nothing to exciting but, hay it's a train and the line I followed is ex PRR!!! I did see a couple of conductors I know on some of the inbound trains.

I so enjoy play-on-words. Wit is Wonderful!

I am packing for the new place. Did I miss Mother's Day dinner? I'm hungry. Any left overs, CW? I promise to wash my own dishes when I am done.

Good morning and happy mothers day everyone.
Cajon was great. I didn't get to stay the night but I had a good time. Now that I've had my train fix the shakes have gone away. Hope everyone else has a great weekend.
