OK - I will ask.....what about your Wedding Day? (Maybe summer solstice - longest day or winter solstice - shortest night?)

I'll buy that, and knew it for that matter - I was thinking of nutritional reasons at the moment...

Very good point Ed,
Besides the reaction to raw eggs,my sis can't do very many brands
of potato chips, especially if they are fried in peanut oil.

Ed,

The day we were together I had my cell phone (which can take digital pix) and Sarah had bought a couple of disposable cameras. We didn't even think to use them until I was on my way home.

At the risk of making her blush, Sarah is both beautiful and cute (there's a difference!), and has the most amazing dark brown eyes.

And you're right--lucky me, to have been able to connect with her!

CW does not make 'runny' eggs, believe me,I should know after
living with her for over 18 years.

And as far as changing the light bulb, depends on how many
Railfans are around.

The 13th ain't that great for #91. I just dropped by the Tampa station and there are 35-40 people expecting to board and the agent said he has no word beyond "delayed". Sounds like those folks are taking a bus to Miami!

When I had their newest pup as a house guest last fall, he had problems with the mowed grass - all of about 2 lbs, but cute as a button.

Well,I not sure about unlucky, but Friday the 13th,sorta ended my
career as an FF/EMT.
That's when the 'lady' hit our Ambulance on the way to an
emergency run we were going to.
(CW said she had a bad feeling that morning, and told me I
probably shouldn't go to work that day)

And my sister's birthday is on the 13th,every once in awhile,
it falls on a Friday.

T-storms here tonight and tomorrow. Spring weather. Haven't really had any good thunderbumpers yet this spring. Fortunately I don't have any real outside plans (with the possible exception of mowing the lawn. The dog is starting to get lost out there), so I'll just sit in the house and work on the stuff for the command simulator I've been rehabbing.

Fast and easy will be the word of the day for food.

Oh - forgot about the fire dep't banquet Saturday night - at least I don't have to cook!

My sister is VERY allergic to eggs(raw anyway)
We just hope we don't have a repeat of last years weather here,
you can have all the 'thunderbumpers' you want.

Mookie,if we don't get our grass cut soon;besides losing the dog,
I know we couldn't find a cat if we had to.

Tree: How big a dog?

Tharmeni: Naw - I never have trouble on this day. But then, I am very cautious every day! And I wouldn't have trouble with your eggs - I hate yolks. They better be well disguised or hard as rocks - then you can dig them out and throw them in the garbage...ugh!

I have never seen an active train on the Seminole Gulf Railroad since moving to Sarasota a year ago. Yesterday, while running late taking three people to the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, I crossed the tracks only to see, about a mile away, three headlights. By the time I dropped them off and headed back, the train was long gone - headed South.

I hope this day - Friday the 13th -- is a bit luckier for me. Hey, the doc says I can have egg yolks, but not whites, so fix me a yolk-only omelette, please, with ham and cheese.

Good morning, everyone! Has no one been in here overnight?

Anyone here superstitious because it's Friday the 13th? I'm not
really superstitious, but, being a twin, I do have that sixth sense,
and it's telling me for us to stay VERY CLOSE to home today.

Breakfast this morning will be donuts: every kind of donut there is,
will be served for breakfast this morning.

Lunch will be leftover chilli from yesterday, along with tuna salad
sandwiches, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, grilled cheese,
roast beef sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, potato chips, potato
wedges or fries.

Will get back to you later with the exact supper menu, but am
leaning towards pizza night.

Everyone have a good day.

Sarah doesn't wanna go to no zoo--she'd be right up at the tower with me, if anyone were allowed up there!

(Or, should I say, I'd be up there with her!)
