Mutt and the rest: The lyrics are from Shel Silverstein and for all you rednecks out there and the curious, go to google and put in the line "put another log on the fire"

It's a hoot.....(No Dan....)

Oh Mutt - do you know that song? I loved it so much I wrote down the words and had them posted on my bullentin board for years! Reminded me of my first husband and why I finally put his log on the fire!

Mook!

Mookie,
Remember the song fairly well, but have forgotten some of the lyrics.
Wish we could do that to somebody around here.[8]

GOOD MORNING!!!!! Mookie, changed from Mz to Dr. in one day? Must be one quick college! Running late this AM. Had to take Mama to work. Explorer's in shop today. Sorry I missed the party last night. Had every intention of making it, but was too nice outside and we had to start working on cleaning up frost damage from Tuesday night. We've got about 80 Hostas that got fried. Could we make like a wilted spinach salad out of them and have a special in the diner?

spbed, oatmeal sounds great! Any more UP running thru Ft. Mad?

Well, no takers here either, evidently. Maybe none of them are old enough to remember? [(-D]

Tom- are you going to be ok - you don't sound so hot! Maybe go with me to the dentist this afternoon. She is very gentle and will only remove what you aren't using.

Sounds like a neuralgia - may hot packs will help. Just leave your 25 Cents on the counter.

I want to thank each and every one of you, from the bottom of my
heart, for making this day a wonderful day. Even with it being my birthday,
it was a true blessing to see so many of you in here today, not only to help
me celebrate my birthday, but to celebrate the first year anniversary of The
Depot Diner and Coffee Shop being open.

A special Thank you to Bergie for letting Jim open the Diner/Coffee Shop,
and for giving all of us a second chance by not closing the Diner several
months ago. Let all of us remember to not do anything here to make
Bergie regret his decision to let us remain open.

I'm going to have to join in with everyone here and say happy B-day CW!!!![bday] I hope it was a speical day for you today. [:D] Oh by the way I really did enjoy the second course of din din tonight. I had both the vanella cake w/ vanella icing, and the chocholate cake too. I ate too much sweets :) hehehe[dinner]

Lets see nothing too earth shattering happend to me today. I went to work. Oh there was a back up on the Blue Route I 476 South today. A person had to be life flighed to the hospital. Because of the back up it left the road were my job is Ridge Pike, in a mess. I wasn't late for work though. It went up to 66 degrees here in the greater Philadelphia reagion today. On Monday it's suposed to be 80 degrees in my area! It's time for me to break out the shorts and no sleeved tops!!

Mookie, thank you for the birthday wishes, and for all your help today.
Mutt and Larry, thank you both for doing all the grilling today.

Sure am glad I got two sheet cakes today for the two celebrations
going on here in the diner today. We've already eaten one sheet cake.
The other sheet cake is half chocolate w/chocolate icing, and the other
half is white cake with white icing. Guess I'll have to freeze a small
section of it for Jim, for whenever he can get back in here.

Larry, I'll help you roll out that tortilla dough! Beef burritos does sound
really good. Also have some con queso sauce, along with salsa.

I miss my cat.
You probably don't want Mz Mookie, the cat. She is about 16 years old, takes arthritis medicine and doesn't see all that well. Plus she is a torti, crabby and hides from everything. But....she doesn't leave the floor for any reason, never asks for much more than food and a good ear scratch and doesn't want to sit on anyone's lap. And she never goes outside except to the vet.

Fits right in, don't you think?

Just talked to Jim Davis. He'll send Garfield over for a few days. However, you will have to provide the used newspapers.

"The Book" would probably survive if it still has the plastic book cover. Still, the author might be ticked.
