Excellent Idea!

Tacos, hard and soft tortilla
Burritos
Quesadillas
Enchiladas
(The ol' rolling pin's gonna get a workout making all those torillas!)
Taco Salad (always a favorite)
Frito Frijoles
Hot sauces available for the brave
Jalapeno Poppers

Lots of ice cream available for dessert - some folks will need it!

I miss my cat.
You probably don't want Mz Mookie, the cat. She is about 16 years old, takes arthritis medicine and doesn't see all that well. Plus she is a torti, crabby and hides from everything. But....she doesn't leave the floor for any reason, never asks for much more than food and a good ear scratch and doesn't want to sit on anyone's lap. And she never goes outside except to the vet.

Fits right in, don't you think?

We have a bat similar to that one outside, of all places, the Social Security offices in Chicago (at least I think it's still there).

Cher/Paula, have a very enjoyable birthday! (I'm toasting you with a glass of Tropicana's best!) I'll stick around for Tina's greeting or until I have to go to work, whichever comes first!

Three days of work left; on the fourth day (three days from now) I get on that train to head east!

SJ, I'm beginning to pack!

Locomutt, sounds massive! Never been to Louisville. Last time I had one in my hand was in 60's in Little League. That was before aluminum for all you youngsters. Well am going upstairs to work on the ROCK. Have about 10 DPM buildings that need cornice painted. Hope that 3rd cuppamud isn't going to give me the shakes. Will be back for the cookout. Willy,
I'll let Larry explain the 'term' to you,but the "Bat" is about
10 stories tall. Took a special' truck to get it there, almost
like a special rail movement using a "Schnable" car.(sp)

Yeah Joe,we notified the Fire Dept.,and they sent a full
"box alarm" to the house (three engines, two trucks, and
and a District Chief.)

FYI,the outside 'bat' is made out of steel.(go figure.)

An aside to RIRR80,should be all day long for the 'grilling'.

Bkfst today is in motel in Springfield,IL while on vacatioin road trip and am having raisin bran and yogurt and coffee. Last night at a little Italian place here in Springfield. While waiting for table we walked four blocks to Amtrak station and saw Texas Eagle come in southbound right on time with one Genesis unit (very dirty), baggage car, diner, three coaches, lounge car and one sleeper (most cars very dirty no doubut due to lack of money for soap and water). Off to Lincoln museum, his tomb and on to St. Louis for my visit to Transportatin Museum and depot railfanning sites. Have a good birthday CW!

Apology accepted. And since you have the name Willy - it just happens to be a favorite of mine, due to another fine young man on this forum!

So sit down and eat and enjoy. Just remember not to Miff the Mookie - which under most normal circumstances, is not all that easy to do.

And as an aside - Mookie is a cat, hence the ^~^'s and nap @ - and she can't snap her fingers either!
