Good Monday morning Paula and friends.

CW, have you considered that all the humidity has caused the (main) frame to swell and the door sticksWhistling [:-^]. That is why this wooden head lives in AZ where humidity above 25% is rare.

Joe, I will have a light breakfast and a large thank you for you.

Jack

Jack, if that's the case, maybe I need to buy a couple of cases of WD-40, and send to Wisconsin, so they can keep the doors and door frames well oiled!!Wink [;)]  Even with all the humidity and rain we've been having, our doors aren't sticking, and that's very rare, around here:  especially in the spring time!!

I've got lunch on the warmer bar:  leftover meat loaf, and sides are on now, and ready for you all to partake of some lunch.

Sadie will be turning a year old in a couple of weeks, (april 17th) so we plan on having a get together here at the house,  friends and family and the like. We plan on having BBQ, and if theres some left I will bring it on by.

This is a virtual diner, we can park anything.  That's my RS-3 parked outside.

Besides, we do have some truck drivin' railfans hereabouts.

Joe, got your lunch for tonight all ready for you.

Supper is on the warmer bar:  what's left of the meatloaf, beans, peas, etc.; and I've got some grilled pork chops w/baked taters (plenty of butter and or sour cream to go on the taters), and the other veggies left from lunch.

Mookie, glad to see you've gotten a puter at home now!  We can converse more often, now, can't we?!?!  (Meaning all of us here in the Cafe, and the rest of the forum.

Duff, glad to see you made it in here, with little Sadie Cutie Pie with you!  That's a great picture of her!!

Good Tuesday morning, everyone!  Temps this morning, are in the mid 50s, and will be slowly going down today, as a cold front comes through.  Is this what is called by the old timers as Easter Squall or one of those springtime 'winters' like Blackberry Winter'?  I get all of them confused.

Coffee has finished brewing, and fresh oj and oj/tangerine are ready, along with hot chocolate and hot tea.  On the warmer bar this morning:  toast, oatmeal, turkey bacon, sausage patties, hash browns and a special 'treat' this morning:  BLTs.

Need to make a call out Arizona way later on, sometime this afternoon, to wish Happy Anniversay to Nance and Bob!   If I remember correctly, it's either 19 or 20 years today for them.

NANCE AND BOB, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

Since I had the whole thing here at work, it wasn't too much of a strain.  We had a dumb puter and did a few games on it and that was about all there was time for.  But with a hard winter behind us and so much time off over Xmas - I nearly went nuts.  So I finally relented.

Now I need to renovate the room, buy some new furniture and buy an up-to-date puter.  This web-surfing is expensive!  Shock [:O]

Yep, see what happens when you take that "first step"...late last year my better half was in our living room (which nobody ever sees) and suddenly decides we need new living room furniture even though the old stuff has been sat upon maybe ten times in twenty years...so off we go to the furniture store (naturally they just happened to be having a sale) and came away having ordered a new couch and chair!  Now Mook, your 'puter will have the same effect on your room.

This morning I am in "mook country"...Omaha, NE having come into town yesterday for a day and a half of sales calls with my sales rep.  I saw quite a bit of UP action yesterday even though my rep is not at all "into trains".  It is in the low thirties here and about ten degrees warmer back home in Aurora, IL where I will lay my head tonight.

Wishing a simply wonderful day to you all!

Fuel only today.  She's just off winter break/maintenance, so all the fluids should be fine.  Smile [:)]

The usual.  Out of bed a bit early for a "smoke in the basement" call in a neighboring fire district.  Turned out to be a malfunctioning furnace, but at least it's supposed to be a semi-warm day.

....Yes, Jen....You most likely will get into the whole bit now.....We got into it back in 1995 and sold all the furniture out of the 3rd bedroom {wasn't being used anyway}, and it turned into a home office.  Of course that meant purchasing the "stuff" required  to create this space we have now.

It is a nice space one can go to away from the family room or whatever and with it's communication tools, kinda fun....

In my case, a good space to include many of my model die-cast cars.  And of course this room had to have stereo too.....and on it goes.....

Join the gang and enjoy.

Sorry gang, I'm not cooking today.  You're on your own!

APRIL FOOLS!!!!   Ooooohhh, I'm being nasty today, aren't I?  I shouldn't be that way, but gee, you just have to have a little bit of the devil in you sometimes.

For Bob and Nance's anniversary, our meals today will be:  ROAST BEEF, MASHED TATERS & GRAVY, GREEN BEANS, CORN, AND COLE SLAW, ALONG WITH CORN BREAD.

DESSERT:  chocolate/white sheet cake w/chocolate icing, decorated for our anniversary couple.

Lefty trucks, please pardon my lack of manners  yesterday, in welcoming you to the Flat Wheel Cafe.  We're all usually much better than that.  And for anyone who has been absent for awhile, and comes back, PLEASE know that you are welcome , and were missed!  So. . . Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

I'm eating some of all of your offerings because I am no APRIL FOOL. Nor any other kind of fool when someone prepares this fine feast.

Snow in AZ today!!! It is on top of the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff; and it has been there for a while, not new fallen snow.

43 here, but windy (with a wind advisory, no less).  My weather station logged 20+ just before I left work - it was a fun drive home.

No foolin' here - just hid in my office and stayed out of trouble...

Good Wednesday morning, everyone!  Looks like we had kind of a busy night in here last night.  Good for business!

Coffee, juices and hot water for tea are ready.  On the breakfast/warmer bar this morning:  turkey bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, french toast and pancakes.

You all have a good morning!
