I'll chime in with encouragement to keep it up, Dan- you'll enjoy a long and happy marriage.  And, if you respond to this post, you'll find yourself hitting another milestone...Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Thanks Brian.  I'm planning on keeping that kind of thing up.  I'm glad to start today off with a milestone (of sorts) here in the FWC.  I'll get the place cleaned up since I'm in a cleaning kind of mood right now anyway.  Be careful in here in the morning-the floors will be freshly waxed too!

WOW!!  Dan, I'm glad I move on the slow side first thing in the morning:  otherwise, I might have fallen, coming in the door.  Thank you for all you did last night.  Everything looks spotless, and the floor is super shiny.

Our current temp, at 6:20 a.m., is 66 degrees, believe we're to get up to 81, 82, somewhere around there today, before the rain comes in late this afternoon.

Dan, keep on doing the little things to nicely surprise your new bride!  And congrats on your 3000th post!!

Good morning CW. Thanks for breakfast. 52 and clear in Carolina at present. I am looking forward to a big day on the wireless with a nap or two in between. Everybody take care

.....Tom, C W, Good morning...I'm a bit early this morning so no use to toss and turn so I'm here with coffee and present in the computer room.  65 degrees here right now....dark outside yet, so can't tell what the sky looks like yet.

Possible rain forecast today later, but they did that yesterday too and it remained dry around here.

Very mild for this time of year.

Is this a good time {of the year}, for the wireless Tom.....?

All have a good day.

Quentin, it depends on what tou are trying to do. Fall and winter are the best for the low bands since the noise is reduced as things get colder. Higher bands are pretty much the same year round, but with the poor solar conditions, nothing can be called really good. HTH

OK, lunch is ready.

If CW can't get in for supper, we can all have pizza.

I can help get some pizzas ready and just changed the containers on the beverage fountain so all is fresh.  I think I'll turn up the heat a bit as it's a tad chilly in here today.

And congrats on your 3000th post!!

Apparently not.  The forums deleted 29 of them somehow so I get to reroll that odometer over later I guess.

Wow...Go to work and come home to find a new and improved website.

It took me a while to figure out that I had to log out and relog in in order to post.

Murry: I had to do the same thing and read some of Bergies directions to boot. I am sure that I will appreciate the new site once I become aquainted with it. I do feel that it will be a lot easier to understand than the stock market these days.

Personally I'm glad to be the pay roll where I work.  Kinda reminds you of the late 1970's in a way.

 Bergie:

I'm not a computer whizz.....I surely hope most of our posters didn't get as frustrated as I did trying to get into this new system.  Been screwing around with this mess for 2 hrs. and not sure where I am yet.  Just now stumbled on to "how to get on"......Surely it {instructions}, can be done better than that.....

I agree with a post I noted Gabe had earlier....."Why".....Every few years be subjected to this.  Frankly, the lead in info is terrible.  Might be great for young computer naturals, but we're not all in that category.  Wonder what might happen tomorrow when I try to reenter.  Have similar feelings that I had with last change and finally became ok with that format.....and now, again.....start over with it.....

It's free and I'm grateful for all the space we have had to communicate....Just great, and I am a TRAINS subscriber, so I'm trying to do my part that way at least....Have for decades.

CW is back.  Mutt and I have been out all afternoon, and haven't been home too long.  Okay, this new look is going to take some getting used to.  We 'oldsters' got used to the other changes, guess we'll get used to these new changes, also.

Dale and Dan, pizzas sound good for tonight.  I have some supreme, when you all have them ready.

Going to go exploring, and check out everything.

Ms Mook - A couple of your locomotives got away and made it all the way to the north woods of NY!  Numbers 1061 and 4692 were at my workplace when I left there today, busily shuffling cars around.  I suspect they'll be headed south tonight.

How do I keep this from typing off the right side of the page?  It seems to go on ad infinitum.....................................

Staggered back into the office after a long day on the former Greeley, Salt Lake & Pacific only to find the forum in upheaval. Futzed enough to reply.  This will take a little getting used to.

The pizzas are ready.  We've got:
-Hawiian,
-Supreme,
-Cheese,
-Pepperoni & Sausage,
-Sausage & Mushroom,
-Deep Dish Meat Lover's.

I sure hope that folks can find their way into here.  I'm frustrated as I've been trying to get in tonight for a while and it wouldn't let me in even after logging in and out 3 times!  Time to go find my hammer and the server.  A little HSA might be in order for them.

Q, there doesn't seem to be any Font control at all, nor color.

Guess we all have been "reduced" to the same level; and have gone back

to a "Black & White" World instead of "Living Color".Sigh

(Why couldn't they come up with that darned "Tongue & Cheek" smiley?!)

Hmmm....  this change is about as subtle as a Mack Truck.  Hurts my eyes just looking at it, and all the ads slow load times way down....

Anyway, been busy lately, on my way over to Coon Rapids, MN with some of Baldwinsville's finest, should deliver tomorrow afternoon, then hopefully on the way down will swing by the main yard and have the steer tires changed, starting to wear a bit funny.

See everyone later, got to rest my eyes after looking at all this.....
