....I really don't feel like I'm connected....Just here by chance of hunt and peck or something like that....Can't find any Font control.  Really can't find much of anything yet.

Hey Quentin and others who want to do this- I figured out how you can change the font size in your posts, at least as a default setting anyway- go to the "My Profile" section to the right, select "Update Profile", and in one of the tabs there is a setting for your font size.  I just changed mine to Large.

EDIT: Evidently my change hasn't taken effect yet.  It does say that changes may take up to 10 minutes to get implemented.

Testing, one, two, three- hey, how about this?  In the "Site Options" tab, select "Enhanced" for Content Editor, and you'll get back the buttons that enable you to do this!!!

Just in time for Halloween - a corn maze!

Spent 30 min in here trying to figure out where I was in relation to everyone else.  But since I learned puter management by not being faint of heart and just push a lot of buttons, I seem to have gotten here in one piece.

CW left me a note that since we have a new look, she and Mutt are out buying new appliances.  Won't be in for a couple of days possibly.  (actually having connection problems, but that doesn't sound nearly as interesting!)

So unless someone can cook, we will just be drinking coffee/milk/other flavors of drinks

you didn't really think I was going to cook did you?  Evil

CW will be in "shortly"; and yes, we did have "connection problems".

(as in one of our yo-yo pets unplugged an important power cord; which

I can't believe she and the other adult didn't find sooner as that "outlet

strip" has a "power on" light.....it was off.)

Mook, Do Not put those suggestions into her head!!Shock

Yeah, it took Mutt waking up, and my telling him about the troubles this morning, and he figured out what the problem was.  Think is, both Sarah and I checked all the cords out, and somehow we both overlooked that culprit.  Looks like this will be a wild and crazy day!

Mookie, don't worry:  I won't make you cook, o.k?  And, speaking of which, how's this sound for today's menu:

1.  open-face roast beef sandwiches w/mashed taters, gravy, and your choice of the following vegetables:  broccoli w/cheese sauce, peas & carrots in butter sauce, hot apple sauce, corn, mixed veggies.

2.  left-over pizzas from last night.  (Once again, thank you Dale and Dan, for fixing that yesterday!!)

Only dessert today is ice cream:  have several different flavors in the freezer.  So I'll be baking all afternoon, to get our dessert menu back together.

You all have a  great day, and it looks like our light rain is just about over for our area.  Our high today is supposed to be about 68.  So a very nice, cool day.

Brian:  Thanks for the suggestion!  As you can, see I managed to get it working.

Testing once again- according to the edit window, I'm defaulting to a font size of 2 (10 pt).  Hmmm... I'm getting the feeling that that option isn't doing anything.  I changed it back to Normal.

However, if you change the Editor Content to Enhanced, it does allow you to change the font size in the edit window, so at least that works.

Ok, we'll try the enhanced box......Either I lost it in changing screens or it hasn't had enough time for the change yet.....????

Edit:  Guess it now can look like this.

Spent most of my time on here today looking for "buttons" or "how to" items.

Larry, just want to let you know I didn't totally forget you today:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  Happy B-DayHappy B-Day Happy B-Day

In honor of Larry's birthday, tonight's supper will be:

1.  Hawaiian pizza

2.  Grilled steaks w/baked potatoes, green beans, corn, your choice of garden or Caesar salad, bread sticks

For dessert tonight, we have a very fresh, just baked today birthday cake, pecan pie, and ice cream.  (Think I'll see is Sarah can stand by with the fire hose, just in case the birthday candles become out of control.  (We won't make Larry stand by tonight with the firehose, or extinguisher, since it's his birthday.)

Happy Birthday, Tree!  In your honor, I got a hold of your weekend group and they are going to let you ride the train FREE!  You're welcome!  So glad I could do it for you on your birthday.  Kisses

Has everyone found the quick reply in the bottom right corner of the thread?  Didn't we have this on our first forum, before the last two changes?

This is a week for losing things - I lost a complete toolbar (twice) on my puter this afternoon, lost my glasses, several times and got lost on the forum.  Fortunately, I have time to find everything!

Good Friday morning, everyone.  We are starting the day out with a temp around 50, 51 degrees.  The lowest temp locally I've seen is about 43 degrees in Seymour, IN; and we're to have a high of 63 or 64 today.

Coffee is ready, along with juices, hot chocolate, hot tea andhot cider.

Danishes and doughnuts are on the breakfast/warmer bar, along with some biscuit/sausage sandwiches.

Hope you all have a good morning, and I'll see you in a bit.

Didn't get in until late last night (went to a dinner meeting after working on the railroad), so a belated thanks to everyone.

No problem with the candles - my son's fire department handled that for me.

Off to get the state inspection done on my truck.  Hopefully they don't find anything fatal.

Quentin:  I am getting so I close my eyes when I see what the market is doing on TV.  Going to go talk to my banker next Monday and see what he suggests.  Fortunately they are on ground level!

....Our Friday morning is a nice bright one but only 55 degrees right now.  That's ok, as we can handle that fine.   Do want to pay attention to getting ready for Winter around the house here in annual preps, etc....

Might even get to yard mowing again today too.....I expect this afternoon we'll be in mid 60's and that's fine.

Went out for a walk this morning.  Little on the breezy side, but sun is shining, so didn't feel too bad.  Currently, we have temps ranging from mid to upper 50s, going to 63 today.

Our Friday Fish Fry is now under wayOn today's menu:

1.  Cod

2.  Perch

3.  Bass

4.  Salmon croquettes

5.  Shrimp

6.  Scallops

Side dishes:  baked beans, corn on the cob, fries, hushpuppies, onion rings, cole slaw

Desserts:  chocolate cake, yellow cake w/caramel icing, and the following pies:  apple,  cherry, peach, pecan

While I was out on my walk, was hoping I'd hear a train horn, and get to see a train.  No such luck, today.  Maybe over the weekend, I'll have better luck.

Good Saturday morning, everyone.  Going to be a cool day, with some sun and clouds.  We currently have a temp of 51 here in Louisville, going for a high in the low 60s, probably around 63, 64 degrees.

Joe, thanks so much for getting breakfast this morning.  Coffee and rolls sound really good this morning.

Everyone have a great Saturday, and I'll see you all back in here tonight for our Saturday Night Pizza Fest.

.....And it's just 48 degrees here right now but bright skies.  Believe we're to get up to low 60's.  Hope so, as I didn't get my yard mowed yesterday and will do so today.

Hear trains already moving in on the Frankfort line.....more grain, I suppose.  Seems that activity really gets busy this time of the year, and has been for this last month.
