Good morning! It looks like I'm the first one in the Diner this morning. I've got the coffee brewing and I've mixed a fresh batch of orange juice. I'm leaving a large assortment of rolls and donuts from the local bakery here on the counter. The donuts should go well with freshly brewed coffee.
I hope everyone out there has a good day!

Have you contacted the police about the man's name? According to an article in the Northwestern the police said he had no identification on him and they did not know his name.

I see that there was a late rush today. No matter, we've always got extra!
I guess I'll put the lights on a motion sensor. After a few mins of quiet they'll turn off and if the door opens (even the kitty door) they'll kick on.
Glad to hear that things are going well for you CW.
Good evening everyone.

Speaking of something train-related, does anyone know what a "beanery" that serves trains crews were like? I remember they were called this name because they often served bean soup as part of the menu. I remember in Portola, CA there was a restaurant near the ex-Western Pacific (now Union Pacific) railroad yard that was open 24 hours a day and kept it prices low due to payment from the railroad to keep it open at all hours to serve railroad crews. (There's got to be something similar in Dunsmuir, CA, since that is also a crew change point on the ex-Southern Pacific I-5 line.
Geez, I go on a weeklong tour and the place gets completely remodeled!!
Been busy here, currently in Seymour, IN, on my way to Atlanta with a load of beer boxes. Had a loaner truck last week for about four or five days, Did not care for it, and my back was in pain for half those days.
I'll pass on the Mexican dinner, Dan, don't need to blow the back wall out of the sleeper!!
Glad to hear you are healing up fine, CW, wish you well on your continuing recovery.
To the sleeper...

....Guess I better stop and make sure I know where this place is....so I will know how to get right to it a bit later.

Okay, looks like we've been moved again (and only after 9 months)! Guess we'll all adjust to the change. We have before.
Dan, could I have an extra large beef burrito deluxe, enchilada style, with some chips and con qaso dip?!?! Sounds like that would hit the spot right now. Along with a tall glass of sweetened iced tea, please.
Ed, and everyone, the therapist told me today, that I'm ahead of schedule in my therapy!! Not too sure about that, myself, but he is the expert, so I'll go with what he says. I may even be off the walker and back on my cane, when I go back to the doctor, for my post op visit, next Tuesday.
Everyone have a good evening, and take care!!
Guess the health inspector didn't like the food eh?
think I will just have an iced tea to go...baby wants me now
Glad I didn't take that second right at Albequerqe!
I'll get the Mexican Fiesta going for dinner tonight.
Wow! That was a quick remodelling job! Looks good in here!
Nice day today - all the favorites on the grill!
