The rump roast, taters, carrots, onion, beans, corn, etc., are ready and on the warmer bar.  For dessert today, your choices are:  chocolate cake, German chocolate cake, pecan and pumpkin pies (getting prepared for  Thanksgiving next week), and ice cream.

It's pretty cloudy and overcast here.  Looks like we may have a chance of some rain later.  Nothing yet, though (at least in our area).  Just a really dreary day out.

I am definitely coming over for the rump roast with potatoes, carrots and onion for Sunday Dinner. Dinner [dinner]

Good Sunday morning!!  Nice here this morning, with a temp in the low 40s.  Joe, thanks for making the coffee, juice and hot chocolate!  Everything looks so good, that I can't decide what I want for breakfast!  Guess I'll just have to sit here and cogitate for a few, as to what I want to eat this morning.

Sorry that the last whistle got cut off!  I may join the ranks of volunteer RR operators at a museum here in WI.  I met a guy today from the museum in Green Bay and we exchanged numbers.  That will be cool!

Dan - Nice shots.  The "What Year" picture makes me want to work a steam excursion. Not that I mind working with our vintage ALCo.

The "Smokin'" shot is a definite keeper - framed on wall in large format!

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful day in Northeast Georgia. There is a parked NS MOW train over in town with SD70M-2 #2727 on the point. I took a few pics of it I'll try to get them up in a few days.

I caught their 2737 up here twice in the last two months on CN trains.  Sharp looking units!

Just got back from chasing the SOO 1003.  Neat engine!  I haven't seen steam since the last time CNW's 1385 ran.  Pics and vids soon.

Paula...That pic for the avatar was snapped at a very unusual place.

Over in Johnstown, Pa., at the top of the Incline Plane in their restaurant.  We're sitting in the restaurant and the window next to me has a view just about straight down 700 - 800' to the downtown of Johnstown.

I'll send you a pic. of the view looking down from that vantage spot.

Here are a couple of pictures courtesy of Quentin of that "Inclined Plane."

Q, thanks for posting the avatar, not sure which "Model Car" I would have

thought you looked like.

By the way, do you know some radio stations are playing Christmas music NOW?. Thumbs Down [tdn] It's just so ridiculously tacky and frankly, I don't listen to Christmas music until Thanksgiving week, for obvious reasons!

Good Saturday morning to all.  See no one came in last night.  Had to throw everything out, and clean up before I could get started for today.

Coffee is dripping in the automatic coffee maker, fresh juice has been fixed, and getting breakfast underway.  There's also hot chocolate and hot water for tea.

For Saturday Brunch, you will find:  turkey bacon, sausage links & patties, scrambled eggs, homemade buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, country fried ham w/red-eye gravy, pancakes, waffles, bear claws, danish, doughnuts, and fresh fruit:  cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon, mushmelon.

Know it's going to be a busy Saturday for a lot of you, running errands, doing things around the yard & house, along with doing some railfanning, and whatever else you've got to do today.  Just be careful out there, and come back safely this evening.

Morning all!  Got the breakfast burritos and fajitas hot and ready along with spicy hashbrowns and potato rounds.  Coffee should be done soon and then all should be set.

Going to see the SOO Line 1003 today in Ripon.  I'm excites as I haven't seen a steam engine since the CNW's 1385 ran through Oshkosh in the late 80's.  I will post pics and maybe video later.

Quentin, just now noticed your avatar!!  I like, very much!

I've got the next round of fish, fries, hushpuppies, and corn on the cob on, preparing for supper tonight.  Everything will be on the warmer bar at 6:00.  Plenty of cole slaw in the cooler, along with pies and cakes.

Joe, Hope you team advances!  And also hope everyone else around here has a good evening.
