Mornin, an irish coffee Zoe,

Another cold morning for April, but ay least the wind has laided some, yesterday was bitter out. Gotta chance of rain mixed with some snow, maybe sleet due in later tonight into tomorrow . That and gas prices will take care of most our outside plans for the weekend.

DER, like your cardboard building your getting good at those, some look better than those high dollor kits.

PC, glad the doc decided your still with us and yur health be ok.

DICK, the run on strawberry-rubard pie isn't here, the freeze has taken care of the strawberries in this area. The rubarb may still make a crop if it ever warms up and stays above freezing more than one night.

Need ta get moving on chores, kids will be here laters, so no big plans for the day. Maybe I'll get some train time this weekend, but something always seems to come up. Hope ya'll has a GOOD FRIDAY the 13'th

Good Morning, Diners! Chloe, you still here? Guess Zoe's running a bit late (like I did yesterday). I'll have a cup of coffee and sit by the window to watch the morning local heading out. I'll get back with you on my order in a bit.Smile [:)]

Luc, Hope the doctors get some more things figured out today for Gloria. Continuing with Angel [angel]Angel [angel]Angel [angel].

Now, I'll be drinking my coffee for a bit while I decide which of Bill's donuts I want to start with.

Morning folks! I see Luct, Mike, and Bill have made it in this morning! Oh, and Jim too!

Hey, if you like pie in the morning for breakfast there are a few crumbs left over from last night!

Actually, thanks Bill for the regular morning donut supply! Cool [8D]

Nice trees Der! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Dick, the lift out seems like the only choice then, eh! Yep, that is the only issue with having a swing gate is making sure you can actually "swing" the gate, clearance is needed to get through. I lucked out with mine, and I get about an 85 degree swing when fully opened which is just enough to get our selves through.

PC, congrats on the check em ups! Thumbs Up [tup]

See you all for lunch.  Dinner [dinner]

Psssst! ...... I told Chloe to be sure an put an extra pie in the oven for lunch! Whistling [:-^] Chef [C=:-)] Big Smile [:D]

SICK SICK SICK but funny.....

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out across the middle of the road. He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately the rabbit jumps right in front of the car.

The driver, a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulls over and gets out to see what has become of the rabbit. Much to his dismay, the rabbit is dead. The driver feels so awful that he begins to cry.

A beautiful blonde woman driving down the highway sees a man crying on the side of the road and pulls over. She steps out of the car and asks the man what's wrong.

"I feel terrible," he explains, "I accidentally hit this rabbit and killed it."

The blonde says, "Don't worry."

She runs to her car and pulls out a spray can. She walks over to the limp, dead rabbit, bends down, and sprays the contents onto the rabbit.

The rabbit jumps up, waves its paw at the two of them and hops off down the road.

Ten feet away the rabbit stops, turns around and waves again.

He hops down the road another 10 feet, turns and waves, hops another ten feet, turns and waves, and repeats this again and again and again until he hops out of sight.

The man is astonished. He runs over to the woman and demands, "What is in that can? What did you spray on that rabbit?"

The woman turns the can around so that the man can read the label.

It says..

(Are you ready for this?)

(Are you sure?)

(This is bad!)

(You know you're gonna be sorry.)

(Last chance)

(OK, here it is)

It says,

"Hair Spray - Restores life to dead hair, and adds permanent wave."

Mornin' all!

What a beautiful morning it is this morning!

Oh, check this out!  The wife has been looking for a new dog for us.  Well, last night she got a call from someone who knew she was looking, and they said to come on over.  We went over and came home with a 9 year old female English Bulldog!  Ugliest thing you ever saw!  But she's so ugly she's cute.  I'll take some pics later.

Gerry, not quite, I got interrupted by the dog thing above.

Jim, happy?  I've got this page!

Alright folks!  Step right up and fill your plates!  The grub is on me today!

So, will your ID now be "2.54 cm.", Mike? Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] Thanks for clearing it up about your layout arrangement.

Luc, good joke, even if it was a 'groaner'. Wink [;)] Let us know once you hear some more about Glo.

Garry, Jeff'll have to be sure his display steamers aren't next to that house, or your joke will apply. Wink [;)] Whistling [:-^]

Colby, good pics - is that your layout with the turntable? Got some motive power there! I'm guessing the snow pics aren't from today, right? Or did you get more snow in your area lately?

Hey, Chowhound Ryan - you're thinking about lunch already! Shock [:O] Oh, I see, you're giving PC some time to plan the menu, aren't you?Wink [;)]

Well, I've about polished off my breakfast, so i'll scoot out of here and let Zoe get some more pies baked before lunch. Hey, Zoe - can you hide a couple from Ryan? Wink [;)]

I was on the pewter which is right by the layout and I heard a loud crash looked around and saw that the flourissant light in back of the layout had fell on a coal drag on one of the mine tracks...It hit the caboose and 2 coal car just glad it was the caboose instead of one of my new engines..i spent the rest of the afternoon taking everything off the layout and this morning my caregiver helped me get light back up and  and layout back together I can't see any damage ...I did get roof painted on DPM building.....I am watching the LL Wabash FA with NYC caboose do slow laps...From AF trains when I was a kid till now I still enjoy seeing them run....

Good afternoon everyone, very windy here today , averaging 15 mph with guts to 35. Cloudy and 39F, so it is NOT a nice day to be outside.

We have a real bad storm coming in for Sunday noontime.....the weathermen are saying that this storm has the potential to be the 5th worst Nor'easter in the past 50 years!!! The problem is, we have a blocking HIGH over Eastern Canada, and big LOW that is going to stall off the coast and dump copious amounts of rain and snow. It will be an elevation storm, where those over 1000 feet and away from the coastline will get heavy wet snow and power outages with winds in excess of 60 mph, and the seas will be over 20 feet because of Astrological high tides this time of the year and a New Moon.....

COLBY: Very good photos, you did a fine job!!  On the snow photo, where was that taken and what RR was that?

RYAN & PC: You guys are in deep DOO DOO....just wait until DUKE and MIKE find out that you two oinked out on the Strawberry Rhubarb pie...poor JEFF didn't even get a whiff of the pie..tsk, tsk...JEFF, is there any justice in this world at all?

MIKE: My strawberry plants haven't even shown green leaves yet!!!  This is going to be a late season I fear. I hope that when they do bud, that we don't get a week of rain to spoil them.

Any signs of Ethanol tankers yet?

Time of get to the train room, now that I decided upon a lift-out, I need to take some measurements, and hunt for a piece of 3/4" plywood. Hopefully I have some left in the wood pile.

Later guys,

Dick If you do what you always did, you'll get what you always got!! Learn from the mistakes of others, trust me........you can't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself, I tried !! Afternoon, Zoe is any apple pie left or did RYAN & PC eat it too. Guess it's just be some ice cream for J Bird, KC, n me when the kids wake up from their nap.

JIM N GARRY,

Think I'll leave my handle the way it be, I've gotten along all these years with standard figurgin.

Colby, liked the pics, but you could've left the snowy ones out for me

PC, congrads on the new dog. Your health should really improve with taking it out for a walk 2 or 3 times a day

Jerry, glad there wasn't any major damage when the sky fell on the train.

Dick, most all the fruit was flowering here from the early warm weather. One report I heard was a 90% loss, so most all our fruit will come from some place else at a high dollor for sure. Some of the farmers had planted sweet corn it's gone also and will have to be replanted

Best get round J Birds strirrin and I don't want here to wake KC.
