Todd - I too understand about cleaning out your Mom's place. We went through that process twice. Once when my Mom passed away, and again when my wife's brother passed away. We had a couple of hard years taking care of everybody and trying to maintain my own place as well as theirs. Most everything was given away or went into the dumpster. Of course, many freinds and family just couldn't understand why I wasn't running a never ending yard sale in hope that I could get 50 cents for a pot. Like I had no other life.
Just got back a little while ago from a Greenberg train show here in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, this show seems to be on a gradual decline each time I go. I did pick up an Atlas ACF 3560 covered hopper I've been watching out for. It was about $4.00 off retail, Mostly it seemed to be a lot of over priced junk. Why anyone would want to pay $15.00 for a ten year old Tyco freight car with horn couplers is a mystery to me. Of course, without the horn couplers, it's probably $1.50 more.

Good Afternoon All,
Still in the shop having finished up a bunch of Magnaflux for the Audi and getting the new Amilcar frame jigged and ready to weld.
I don't envy you G but I'll add your FIL to the prayer list for the same reason Todd did.
Brakie - what train stores are in Mansfield? We go to Mid Ohio once a year and usually get to Mansfield for dinner at Rockys' Pub. A side trip to a hobby shop would be an extra treat.
Todd - shame on you using all of Rays' syrup. the way he keeps rigging up surprises, better wear insulated gloves next time you go scrounging.
Garry - love the truck and the scene is coming along nicely though for now it's the most tidy junkyard ever.
Barry - prayers for your wife and no I have enough cold here already. Had spirit but it froze too.
Jeff - never heard of a lowrider locomotive. Starting a trend?
Well, lunch is finished, back to the welding bench it is. CUL, J.R.

I received some freight cars in the mail yesterday. 1 AHM/Roco Kansas, Oklahoma and Gulf (KO&G) 41' reefer #30011, a Bachmann BN 50' reefer #26534, a Life-Like 40' Chessie System boxcar #26621 (sold in the industrial train line), a Rivarossi Southern gondola body #2207 and an AHM/Roco Florida East Coast (FEC) 40' PS-1 Box Car #21019.
Afternoon folks!
Flo just a cup of decaf, don't want to spoil my diner.
Been keeping the woodstove cranking pretty good today. Need to bring more wood in shortly.
Did the shopping I have been putting off for a couple days. Also stopped at Radidio Snack to pick up a couple packs of Crimp type spade lugs. I walk in and go right over to where they keep them, grab a couple packages and make my way back toward the cash register. I take about 2 steps and one of their employs literally runs over to ask if I need help finding anything. I tell him, nope! Since you didn't rearrange everything in the store this week, they were right where they were last week...... He didn't think it was funny. Evidently they have a rule about finding things in the store on your own...... So we go to check out and the card reader keeps flashing that I'm supposed to swipe something (Which is what I thought the employee standing over me is supposed to prevent?), so I ask if they still accept pictures of dead presidents as payment? Another strange look..... I wave around a picture of Jackson, he smells green, and he says, Oh, of course. I then ask him why the little card reader is yelling at me to swipe somebodies card! The girl at the next register starts to laugh and says, "It always does that... Annoying isn't it!" I take my change which the kid had to get from 2 registers down.... The only one that has the "old fashioned stuff" and I make my way out the door which goes "beep, beep, beep" No problem the door always does that whether you are coming or going........
Soldered up some wiring adding the spade lugs to the end to bring 16v lighting power over to where the quarry is. I use 2 12 volt bulbs in series with the 16v. gives a nice old fashioned yellow light and the bulbs will last forever (Which is longer than I plan to be on this earth...). Later tonight I am going to spray paint the belt drive items that are finished, do some detail painting, and get them glued in place in the Workshop/Engine house.
Supposed to get down into the single digits around here tonight, so I see some Scouts near Rochester (In my Council) are taking advantage of the beautiful weather to have some camping fun. Actually this is great weather to be camping in since the temp stays below freezing therefore you stay dry and warm..... I once camped in the middle of a frozen lake (Cuba Lake South of Buffalo, NY) with a temp of -20°F and a 30 MPH wind. Wind chill was something like -75°F. As long as we stayed out of the wind and dry, we were fine......
Got to go check the stove!
Barry, check your conversations.....
Later!
Ray Seneca Lake, Ontario, and Western R.R. (S.L.O.&W.) in HO
We'll get there sooner or later!
Strong coffee in a UNION PACIFIC mug, please.
***Ray, love your sense of humor.
***Jeffrey, are you going to repaint all those cars or leave some in their current roads?
***Ulrich, very nice loco. I have an older version of that, with plastic rods, but even that older version is still a good runner. Enjoy that handsome new version.
***Larry, we would like to see some pics of those finished "shoe-box" style buildings.
***Galaxy, my FIL hasn't complained about one thing during the years following his major, devastating stroke. He's told my wife he is "ready to get on that bus when it arrives, but doesn't want any help". Interesting way to put it, I thought. He's always been an independent hard worker, but those strokes really mess a person up bad.
Heading down to the train room to see how last nights work turned out. Should all be dried out by now.
Cheers! Rob

Hey, hot coffee in a British Railways mug of you would be so kind.
Man, haven't stopped in for quite some time. Had the rear brakes in the Jeep go out yesterday. That's one experience I never want to repeat. Turns out a brake line was completely rotted through. Its at the mechanic's now getting all new brake lines installed. I could of done it myself, but don't have the flaring tools or the pipe bending tools. Didn't have a say in the matter anyway. Brakes went out Thursday on my way to school. Drove it home on front brakes and E-brake, Friday my folks took it to a friend of ours to replace the lines. Got her back at about 5:30 Glad to see everyone's doing good.
Ulrich, best of luck. Hope you get the job.
Jeff, clearance issues? Good you got the problem fixed.

Coffee please. Thank you. (burp) Excuse me. I ate at the Lonestar. Yup, 2 for $25 cost me……..$32. Soda, Iced Tea and tax extra mind you. Still, for the meal it was a pretty good deal and the servings were not skimped and tasted pretty darn good. I shall return for it again to get something different. Ray- WAIT! Don’t pay attention to what those things say! I was at one once and it said “swipe customers card‘. So, I reached over to the guy behind me and….grabbed his card. They called security and everything. Man, you talk about a mess explaining I was just following instructions. -- I see you are familiar with the old, "needed it and now that I have it don’t need it" …….thing. -- Have you noticed when you find everything the help is all over you, but when you can’t or have a question they’re nowhere around or work in a different department. I ask, “then what are you doing over here?”

Johnboy- I guess you guys up north have to give up something for the beautiful scenery you have. Of course, then again, you may not mind the cold. Many don’t but me? Brrrrrrr. I can't imagine the temps you and Charlie talk of.
Tom- Oh believe you me I have heard the yard sale, consignment shop, newspaper boards, you name it. But like you and Ray said, most everything isn’t really worth anything, so to speak. They are going on, what I call a shopping trip. They can pick anything and everything they want. (it’s per the will). I also offer for them to take things they don’t want and sell it as they suggest to me. Oddly, they don’t want to mess with it because it wouldn’t be worth the trouble. I look at them blankly. They see my point I guess because they change the subject. There will be a U-haul or several pickup loads to the Goodwill, and many many things, yes, to the dumpster.
Anybody need some shampoo. Hairspray?
I think I’ll hit the train room for a bit. Why? I don’t know. Maybe because I can.

Well I am beat and today sucked caboose. Time to run some trains!

Ken:
John If you find the name of the power that would be great, but don't tear up the train room looking for it! While the Nickel is still all there on the Y6 b my Hudson and RSD 15 wheels are down to the copper, or is it brass? But they still pick up power with no problems so I am not that worried about it.
Dick: Good to see you drop by -
I sure remember the years when Duke, Ed and Fergie would dance on the table tops here until 5 in the morning, and poor John would just shake his head.

This loco is said to hold the world speed record at a little over 125 mph. 3 of them are still in working order and can be seen heading steam specials throughout the year in UK.
On 3rd July 1938, the Westinghouse team arrived to find that the train consist had changed. Some of the coaches had been removed and replaced with the dynamometer car. Also, the locomotive had been changed to 4468 Mallard. Only 4 months old, this A4 was the first to be fitted with the Kylchap double-blast pipe. The driver was also different - J. Duddington, who had been brought down from Doncaster and had a reputation for running trains hard when it was required. Duddington was joined by fireman T. Bray, and inspector J. Jenkins. When the Westinghouse team were onboard, they were told that they were going to attempt to break the speed record. Why the secrecy? One reason was so that the LMS did not hear of the attempt beforehand. Another might be that the LNER's civil engineering department were not keen on 120+ mph runs, when the track had official speed limits of only 90mph! The Down journey consisted of conventional brake tests. At Barkston, the Westinghouse team were given the option of taking a taxi to Peterborough - they all refused! The centre big bearing was drowned in cylinder oil, and the return journey commenced. Grantham was passed at 24mph. By Stoke signal box, the speed had reached 74.5mph with full regulator and 40% cut-off. At milepost 94, 116mph was recorded along with the maximum drawbar of 1800hp. 120mph was achieved between milepost 92.75 and 89.75, and for a short distance of 306 yds, 125mph was touched. A peak of 126mph was marked on the dynamometer rolls, and this speed was included in some unofficial reports. 126mph is also the speed marked on the plaque BR mounted on Mallard in 1948. Gresley never accepted this speed of 126mph, and thought it misleading. The LNER only claimed a peak average of 125mph - so breaking the world record for steam traction held by the German State Railways (124.5mph) and the British record set by the LMS (114mph). When Mallard arrived at Peterborough it was found that the centre bearing had overheated. It was then towed to meet the press at Kings Cross behind an Ivatt Atlantic. This must have led to some confusion, but the overheated bearing was quickly re-metalled. A further check was made that everything was okay, and Mallard was back in revenue-earning service within 9 days. Over 60 years later, Mallard's record of 125mph still stands.

The way I'm going I suspect I will having to add staging tracks as the rails are full and I only have 1/3 of my rolling stock out of the box.
DerJohn: Glad you got my e-mail. They are definite winners. Have you been to Georges lately?
I haven't been to Georges in quite a while - the stuff I "need" these days isn't really in his line. As you observed (IIRC) he wasn't at the last train show in Dartmouth, and he didn't look well the last time I was in the store.
Galaxy: If it isn't too late, glad the op went OK, despite the lack of total anesthesia. May the recovery go even better, and have the outcome you are looking for. You'll appreciate that I haven't seen if you covered more on that in pages 40-45 Prayers for your FIL
but not sure he deserves tehm.
Well, I'm at least 6 pages behind, so I'm not going to try to catch up from here. In the middle of track cleaning - and one of my Kato Digitrax drop-in equipped locos has decided to quit. It takes a Factory Reset, and re-programs, but the headlights are the only thing that work. It isn't a connection issue because the decoder contact strips are hard wired to the motor. I'm fed up. I have a TCS equipped GP7 (TCS CN-GP) that was running and now is completely dead; a GP15-1 that will only run at a moderate crawl on full throttle, two other decoders that have to go back on warranty returns. Not a happy camper, and for the first time seriously considered giving up the hobby. This is not fun at the moment.
On a brighter note, the replacement All-in-one printer we bought last week cost less than we expected to pay-even with the environmental charge. Got it home to find that it is WiFi enabled, which the old one wasn't. So now, I run it from my computer via a USB cable, and Kris can print off stuff from her computer on which the wireless modem that gives me HiSpeed is resident.
Looks like it's getting to wards that time again. I'm just going to look at the last Page in the Diner to see if Jeff knows it's going to freeze down his way tonight! (Dick sent me the url for Earth Alerts, and I entered Leesville just because!) Ah!, Jeff, I have that same problem of too low a pilot on Atlas GP7s on my layout. A little carving and sanding is my fix Also Jeff
I don't have the tools for that so each piece will have to be carefully cut from a craft stick and filed down until it's at least near scale thickness. That's gonna take some time.
So, Goodnight all, and God Bless. Prayers continuing for all in need of Healing, Comfort, Prosperity and Peace. h

Evening guys
After tinkering with the spark plug wiring last night, That high-RPM miss went away. Although on the way back from a friend's op session I got one between 1700-2200 pms (normal driving range). Messed with it a little more, but haven't driven it since. Might need to do a bit more work on seperating the wires (knew I should have ponied up and gotten some MSD wires instead of going for bosch)
Tommorow's the Packer's play-off game against the arch rival bears. Gonna miss the 1st hour because of work.
Ken, Are you talking about the duralast battery? Supposedly they are pretty good, I've only bought one and it's outlasted the cars it was in. I had bought one for my 97 mustang I had because the optima one didn't work (and I didn't want to sit in the trunk without a case), when I crashed it I re-used it for my 1990 since that one was dying when I bought it. Still in the 90, and the new owner hasn't had any issues with it.
Tom, I've noticed that one at shows too. Who wants to pay $50 for a bluebox SD40-2, when you can get an RTR for $10 more at the next table?
*yawn*. It's been a long day. I'll probably catch some z's, see ya'll tomorrow.
Vincent
Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....
2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.
Just stopped in for a HC before going to bed.
Had an enjoyable evening with my Wife and we watched "Runaway Train" with Jon Voight on Netflix.
The only downer was watching all that snow in the movie that we are having to deal with here everyday.
But for anyone who hasn't seen it, I do recommend it, us train buffs will get the most out of it.
Well, must get tucked in as Church is in the am. and it is snowing again so that means some cleaning to do before leaving.
Hope you all have a great and restful sleep and enjoy the conference finals (NFL) tomorrow.

Good Morning,
what a night! Must have caught some kind of a bug that left me shivering and freezing at one moment, and sweating the other moment. Now I feel like having been "freight trained".
Flo, a strong coffee in a JNR mug, please, Maybe that´ll perk me up a little.
Ken - I don´t expect any news from the bank until early February. They are really slow when you are asking for money, but dang quick if they want to have any from you! When and if funding is approved, the job is most likely to commence April 1st.
Surgery for my mom will be scheduled next week. I guess it will be beginning of February, as there appears to be no immediate danger if she does not overwork herself...
Made some progress in the planning of my modular desktop layout. It will really fit on my desk, can be taken apart (or put together) in a few minutes. I can store the modules on a shelf - sounds like the ideal solution in my current situation, as any type of permanent set-up would be a) too costly, and b) too intrusive. OK, it´ll not be a "dream" layout, but it´ll give me something to "play" with.
There is a small group of people in Germany modeling Japanese prototype. We are right now discussing some standrds for the modules, enabling us to meet and set up a larger layout. Let´s see how that will turn out.
Have a good day, all of you!
Good evening/morning friends!
Well, I got halfway back to the other diner when the track car broke down, and the engineer at the controls went crosseyed from all the orders I was reading... so they had to call a taxi to pick me up and bring me back here... so I might attempt the trip again tomorrow, we shall see.
Ulrich, I'll keep your mom in my prayers.
Hope everyone is well tonight? Glad those of you who had close calls this week are still here with us! Thank the Lord for the blessings given us!
Well, the bug has hit me again, and I am back to my layout designing. Made doubly rough with the knowledge that I only have a corner of the spare bedroom to work with. A space which is 11' 3" by 14'.
I went back to my research and found that I had mis-measured the track lenght at New Hope Station. I originally thought it to be 6 or 7 passenger car lengths, but I re-measured to be on the safe side and found it to be 10 car lengths... Ouch, my passenger cars are 12" coupler to coupler, and I need a space of 3 cars and an engine for the tail track to function properly. THAT said, I will have to have 10 feet for the station track, and 4 feet for the tail track... Gotta love when your remeasuring reveals flaws in your plans! have to curve the tail track (if and when we move out of this apartment and have more room I will fix the flub and make the tail track straight again!)
Well, time to say goodnight!
TTFN!
Sam
May He bless you, guide you, and keep you safe on your journey through life!

Good Morning! Coffee and a sweet roll please. Thank you.
Everything went well yesterday except my sister, who wanted so bad to be there to see my Aunt, didn’t show. Again. They called, but couldn’t make it. They want to come up today (this morning by around 11)to go through some things of Mom’s. They don’t want to hold things up for me. I thought that was nice. I’ll not hold my breath on their arrival. She wanted the key to the apartment. HA! She’d be taking Brittni’s stuff and who knows what all. Of course, she can take any and all she wants per the will as everyone else placed before her could have, but the point is I don’t trust her. I’ll be overly nice and catering until she is done with her claim to the estate. Then it will return to basically estrangement as it has been for years because my blood temperature will be rising. If, I make it till the end of this process I will be surprised. I may not have a tongue from biting it. She will not dance me around like a puppet as she did Mom for all those years sitting and waiting, rearranging plans and everything for her only to have her as a no show and a reschedule only to again, no show. Then whine about her physical problems that keep her from just being able to go anywhere whenever she chooses. Odd she had no scheduling problems with the flight to Vegas at the begining of the month. Odd she can get where ever she wants to go without issues. Odd she has no problems wheeling that cigarette one after anaother and managing the lighter or holding a beer bottle but when it comes to a job, she can't hold a pen to write. Sorry, Rant over.
I guess you know my plans. While out at the apartment, or rather on the way home, Brenda wants to stop by Sam’s Club. Thereby taking up any planned MRR time I was going to spend today. I wanted to cut and lay the OSB and the foam completing the bench work for the first half. But……Thank you very much little sister.
Well, I have to get going so we can get to the apartment only to wait and find out she won’t be.
Y’all have a Great Day now ya hear?!!!
Morning
Flo, cup of coffee and a muffin please.
Feeling pretty this morning, think I am coming down with something again. Had chills last night, then I felt like I had a fever. Slept till 8:00 AM, which is long for me, dang I was tired.
Train Front I read some time ago about a motor flywheel puller. I think Micro Marks had it. Did a keyword search on there site and could not find one. Did find a Wheel / Gear puller that looked like what I remember the flywheel puller looked like. Anyone know if it could be used for a flywheel puller?
Time to look on the internet for one, later.
Good morning. It's 35° and sunny. The high will be 57° with increasing cloudiness. We are expecting rain tonight and a low of 29°.Today I'll be reworking the coupler pockets on one of the new boxcars. They're just a tad too high. I'll have to place a strip of plastic between each box and the car body. Later I'll see if I can come up with some MoW markings for the work caboose and some other MoW cars.
Morning all
Will go sometime i think to visit MY father NOT the whining FIL. My father is 76, does well alone {my mother passed in 03} and works on wooden whirly-gigs in the basement to occupy his time. HE doesn't complain about much about anything, but he was a real bear when his gall bladder had to go as he was in so much pain and "couldn't get any relief". I knew that tune all to well as it took them 5 years of Dr and ER visits before a "smart Dr." stepped ina dn fianlly said maybe it needs to come out and called in a specialist surgeron who said YES it does need to come out. SO for five years I was sick off and on always with gall bladder attacks, so now my father has an understanding of what I was going through when I think a lot of people thought I was a "hypochondriac"-just like some thought I was about my back. Shocked looks on faces when they find out I had not one, but two tumors removed from my spine! AMazing how some people don't believe you when you are sick and really unable, sometimes.
But amazing how some Like my FIL bellyaches and acts as he does-hes using MIL's "hoverround" electric wheelchair {which she really can't use} now and tearing up the house with it as he can't drive it well! He SUPPOSED to walk in teh waling cast with the waliking shoe on an if eed be use a walker, but hes far from invalid. He has also been lying left and right and in the same sentences contradicting himself. Instead of me {witha bad back just out of surgery} or MOH going over to shovel his driveway, he claimed he begged a neighbor to do it, Well the real story is from the MIL that the neighbor was called on to help fix the water heater adn OFFERED to shovel the driveway free! ANd he lied one day adn told MOH that he called an left message on answering machine, when MOH said there was no messages on the answering machine, FIL then said "well galaxy must have erased it" when MOH told him I don't do such things he THEN said" well I talked to galaxy who obviously forgot to give you the message"!!!!!!! ALL BS changed story 3 times in one paragraph of talking and LIED about calling at all cuz he wasn't on caller ID eitehr till he called MOH to bring in the garbage cans at 8pm at night..WHEN MOH TOLD him to call when the cans and recycle were collected so MOH could do it on the way home from work!!!
ANother rant sorry guys! he is a real piece of work sometimes. He does sometimes help us financially here and there, and holds that over our head. WE are starting to refuse his financial aid if it means we have to cut back as we don;t count on it, nor do we count on the generous gifts of money my father sometimes passes on to me! My father's generous tax refund {his} gift to me is what allowed us a good down payment on teh new KIA Sedona. WHich set teh FIL off on a rant aobut how he helps us too and now, he expects daily visits to do his bidding for the minor gifts he has given us. WE have decided NO MORE we will do without than deal with FIL's oenny anti BS. AND the FIL was jealous that we got a new {06} vehicle and he only has a on 01. How dare we have a newer vehicle than he, all of which I had to remind FIL several times we only had due to MY FATHER'S generosity. Of course the FIL pointed out he GAVE us a {12 year old} whole car 9 years ago taht we finally had to replace. He thinks "it was a good car when I gave it to you" and should last us forever.Well it WAS a good car then, but not now. A 20 y/o car can be hard to find parts for and 3 mechanics told us it was on its last legs at over 200 thousand miles on it. EEEEERRGGG the FIL irritates our nerves.
Also tunrs out form MIL he has been border line abusive and verbally abusive to her so if he continues MOH will turn him in for elder spouse abuse. That will sit well with all I a sure. We are not sure if FIL si getting senile as well, or has gears slipping or what. But he certainly is a bitter old crumdgeon of a man! OVEr! I have a head ache now and that vein on the side of my head is throbbing!
Whew! Thanks for the eyes, guys who read all this and offer comisery.
WEll I should get about doing somethings.
Have agreat day!

After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.
Mornin' everyone!
(Shouts to Zoe on way through diner).... Zoe, I'll have a #2 special, over easy eggs, bacon, home fries, sourdough toast and a pot of dark roast coffee.... I'll be standing near the stove thawing out.....
Overnight high was 15°F. THAT was around 1AM. Currently 9°F on its way down to -8° this evening. Not really bad, I'm just not used to the cold anymore. Probably has to do with the little pills the doctor has me on. may also be attributed to "old age" I think..... I do remember as a kid on the farm we would have cold spells where the temperature never went above zero for a week at a time. According to the Weather Channel, on this day in 1971, the coldest temperature recorded in the U.S. was reported in Prospect Creek Camp, Alaska, where the mercury dropped to -80°F.
I think, other than going out and getting the Sunday Paper (have to read Police Beat to see what my former students are doing...) and bringing in a few armloads of wood for the stove. Today might be a very good day to catch up on some stuff THAT needs doing around here. I think I will reserve some time to w*rk on the layout as well.

Round about 15F but mostly sunny today. Got chores done and I will head down to the future train room shortly. It's taking longer than I wished for the room to come together, but after adding a ceiling and finishing the last one after the layout was started caused a bunch of agita and extra complication and expense so I will take the long view and get a room done and ready before any benchwork goes in.
Galaxy - sounds like a difficult situation for you and if it helps to vent by all means go for it. Just as long as you don't expect someone so set in their ways to change for the better. My mom had a couple of sisters/sister in laws like that and they just drove her to distractiion. We finally came to understand that some people are just not satisfied unless they are unhappy and no amount of accomodation or appeasement will change things.
Todd - hope you keep your patience and temper long enough to transition back to some sort of routine. It's a tough row to hoe at times.
Ken - hope you feel better. Keep shining up the brass on the big front door (do you have a traffic counter or some sort of accounting of shoppers per day?) and hopefully things will w..k out for you.
Ulrich - that is a nice locomotive. Good luck with your attempt to put together a group of like minded individuals for a modular group. Have you started looking for JNR style coaches yet? IIRC the freight equipment was more like that in Europe than the US stuff probably because the confines available mitigated against bigger less space efficient equipment. Keep us posted and best of luck hearing early and in the positive from the bank.
Gotta run - I'll see you all later, J.R.
Finally finished with the boxcar. The car is an AHM/Roco offering (AHM 5241 series) closely resembling the Bachmann and Lionel-HO offerings of the early 1970's. It had truck mounted large box coupler housings that were similar to Lionel-HO. These were extremely easy to remove. I also removed the roofwalk and the plastic wheels. I body mounted Kadee coupler boxes and installed knuckle couplers. The wheels were replaced with Bachmann Silver Series metal wheels and the car body was sprayed with Valspar frosting spray to kill the gloss.
Quick coffee To Go, please.
Figured out which team I want to go to and win the Super Bowl. Either Packers or Bears will do. Why? Well, the Packers beat the Falcons and Bears beat the Seahawks. So either one will make my teams which lost their games (Falcons & Seahawks) look better, having lost to the eventual champs. Make sense?
Have a good day y'all.
Rob
Ha ha, that Ray, always looking at the bright…er warm side of things. I only hope I remain as good spirited as he. Um…..didn’t mean to make that sound like I’m saying he’s old. I mean all that grey is just experience. No! I mean grey hair is…I mean a lot of people turn grey when their young… oh never mind coffee please. Thanks now where is something solid? Oh, ok .There…..
WHY OH WHYYYYYYY! Do I do things like this. I have said I would w**k tonight to help out at the restaurant. Forgetting that tonight, this very night is…….PIE NIGHT at Church! Yes the one night a year when we get together and all bring a pie, line them up and…….eat. Woe is me.
G- I feel for you. I really do. I know someone exactly like your FIL. ANY dollar amount or amount of assistance is never made up. Never. Luckily it’s not one of our parents but someone I know’s parents. And believe you me they let everyone know every dime they throw ANYbody’s way. As far as not believing in illness, I learned a long time ago with Mom, not to jump to conclusions. But as for my sister, she claims to be unable to work at most anything. Alright, and no offense to anyone so don’t take it the wrong way but, as an example, there are a couple folks on this forum who claim the same or almost. So they may take exception to my feelings. Is there a difference? Big. I doubt if I would ever hear of or see them out dancing and bebopping around everywhere except at the employment line. I have this strong feeling if work were an option, that's what they would prefer. As for my sister, I think she would be.......
Speaking of sister, no show today. BIL did call but offered no reason why, I didn’t ask. As J.R. would probably suggest, I just let it go. No point in getting in a tussle over it and making a big mess. I will ask the Lawyer just how long I have to dangle on the end of the linewaiting for her to take her trip through the apartment though. I might not like the answer, but I’ll ask.
Rob- Make sense? No. Just kidding. Actually, yes it does make sense.
Well (deep subject especially after that grey comment.), about time to get to w**k but first I must let the four legged digestive system out to relieve herself.
Woooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh boy I can only celebrate for a bit because it looks like Pittsburgh will STOMP NY, but GREEN BAY IS IN THE SUPERBOWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys and gals, sorry I ain't been stopping in much. Rugby has taken a lot outta me, and when I do get on the computer I'm usually tired. I am having fun in rugby, although I've let a bad attitude grow worse. I need to correct it, and I will.
In other news, school is going good and the alyout is coming along slowly. Very slowly because of rugby. But I'm hoping to get on that soon and change the fact. It'll have to be the weekend after enxt though as I have a rugby match this Friday in Greenville and my family and I will be staying at my gma's for the weekend (and hopefully going snow tubing)
well ctach y'all alter
