Good Morning, what a night! Must have caught some kind of a bug that left me shivering and freezing at one moment, and sweating the other moment. Now I feel like having been "freight trained". Flo, a strong coffee in a JNR mug, please, Maybe that´ll perk me up a little. Ken - I don´t expect any news from the bank until early February. They are really slow when you are asking for money, but dang quick if they want to have any from you! When and if funding is approved, the job is most likely to commence April 1st. Surgery for my mom will be scheduled next week. I guess it will be beginning of February, as there appears to be no immediate danger if she does not overwork herself... Made some progress in the planning of my modular desktop layout. It will really fit on my desk, can be taken apart (or put together) in a few minutes. I can store the modules on a shelf - sounds like the ideal solution in my current situation, as any type of permanent set-up would be a) too costly, and b) too intrusive. OK, it´ll not be a "dream" layout, but it´ll give me something to "play" with. There is a small group of people in Germany modeling Japanese prototype. We are right now discussing some standrds for the modules, enabling us to meet and set up a larger layout. Let´s see how that will turn out. Have a good day, all of you!
