Hello everybody ...

I'll have southern style fried chicken and southern style green beens please.

At long last my frieght yard is working as it should. DCC is fine. Track is fine. Wiring is fine. Swicth machines are working well. To remind you this yard is to be lower level. The upper level is to be my city with Union Station. So, I'll be firing up the table saw once again. It will be time to play carpenter.

Sam, Looks like an intresting project. How do those high-railers run?

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but here goes on the ways I "think" you are meaning...

a)  It runs with a split frame and axles, they touch and the motor was in contact with the "frame" which is also the weights.  I added a piece of electrical tape on the frame to isolate the motor, I now just have to install the decoder and test it!

b)  the wheels , what is supposed to be the "Rubber" tires, have flanges on them which are almost unnoticeable, along with the "high-railer" wheels, which are just there for show, not functional.

I haven't run it in DC or DCC, but I was told by my LHS that they are good runners.  I will also have to install lighting: Headlights, Strobe/Rotator on the roof, Tail-lights, Interior light, and add "work lights" to the roof at the rear of the step van (which incidentally looks alot like the operating end of a cab car!)

Well, I have to run, it's 8pm and I have to get up again at 1:30 to get to work on time!  I have yet to be told what my schedule is for next week...  I pray that it isn't an omen for what is to come...  the Governor gave his "budget" speech yesterday and spoke of a 3% decrease in funding for "State Transportation"  (but the funny thing is, when it is "convenient" for New Jersey we are "State Workers" and sometimes they choose to say we AREN'T "State Workers"... I wish they would make up their minds...  We get subsidies from the state, but that does NOT make us state workers... I absolutely can't STAND most politicians, seems most are saying one thing on one hand, and doing the exact opposite with the other hand!  GRRR  SoapBox moment over...

Sam

May He bless you, guide you, and keep you safe on your journey through life!

IT,S GOOD TO BE BACK. I HAD A TERBLE STROKE IN NOVEMBER. LOST EVERYTGING ON MY RIGHT SIDE.  WITH A HUGE AMMOUNT OF THERAPY I CAN WALK WITH A CANE AND AM SLOWLY GETTING THE USE OF MT RIGHT ARM BACK.SORRY FOR THE CAPS, IT'S A LOT EASIER FOR ME. THOSE FSM KIES WILL BE HARDER WITH ONE ARM NOW.

It's nice to have you back. I have a good idea of what you're going through. When my neuropathy hit hard back in 2003 I lost much of the use of my hands for anything finer than rough work. Through hard work and a lot of physical therapy I've gotten some of that use back. Due to bone and muscle damage in my legs I've had to use special devices to help me walk and I require physical therapy. Recently I took a turn for the worse and I'm now on crutches. So yeah, I have a good idea of what you're going through. If you need someone to talk to, just send me a PM or an email. You've got a friend.

Good evening folks: Peace and quiet has returned to our household now our daughter and #2 grandson plus surrogate gs have returned home.  Not a bad visit,a nd this time no-one was screaming at anyone else. (#2 gs knows exactly which of #1 gs's buttons to push for maximum instant reaction - and does, far too frequently for his, or anyone else's good. Since #1 grandson wasn't here this trip,  it was not so noisy.)  The layout was however well used, which was a surprise and a pleasure.Thumbs Up

Some of you have openly asked me how I can keep such a good attitude with all that's happening with my health. To tell you the truth I don't really know. It does take a heavy toll on me emotionally as well as physically. I try to keep that stress under control and away from those I love but it's hard sometimes. It helps to have an avenue to vent it through such as boards like this. I know you guys and gals don't read everything I post but that's not why I post. Just drafting the post gives me a chance to vent some of the frustration I feel at being able to do little or nothing to change things. In no way am I trying to unload my baggage on you. Rather it gives me a chance to go through and sort out what's important and focus on that. In this way I'm able to look at the brighter side and not focus on the negative so much. I thank you all for your patience in putting up with me. Just having someone to talk to, even just through a keyboard, is a big help.

Good evening all!  Just stopping in before heading off to the shower.  My mom and Heather (oldest daughter) just left the house.  My mom is off on her Spring Break (school bus driver), so she's taking Heather for the rest of the week.  I'm not going to complain as it means one less person to have to get ready in the mornings.

Zoe, just a RBF for me, had a large dinner tonight, chicken leg quarters on the grill, scalloped taters, and mac and cheese.  I'm a little stuffed for the moment.  Might come back in here later and have something else.

Keith, going by the VIN information you gave me, the vehicle has a 305cid (5.0L) V-8.  While the 305 isn't/wasn't the most powerful V-8 in the vehicle, considering its relative light weight, it should scoot.  Again, if you need part numbers for anything lemme know.  Also, just a little information for you.  On everything but true internal engine parts (pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, etc) you can cheat and call the engine a 350 (5.7L) V-8 since the engines are actually the same block, intake, heads, etc, just with smaller pistons....(what can I say, I love to help people with/through my automotive knowledge).

Mike, good to see you again sir, but to also agree with everyone else on here, I am sorry to hear of your medical problems.

Jeff, my continued prayers to you on a recovery on your latest issues.

Well, that's about it for me, going to go and do the shower thing, haven't changed clothes since I got home over 3 hours ago and I'm a little rank smelling...

Evening. Chloe, I'll take some Apple Pie.

So, the other day was Pi Day (as in the number, not the Diner's signature dessert). So there was extra credit for Algebra, and I made a pi hat. The teacher liked it, I think almost a little too much! lol She has a Pi obsession. She even played a Pi song. Here it is, if you're crazy enough to listen to it (although I must admit, it does get caught in your head easily!) http://pi.ytmnd.com/

As always, lax is going ok. Hope it gets better once games start.

Guess that's about it. Looks like not too long before we get a new place (you guys just keep burning through these!).

Later!

Evenin' Folks!

Zoe just a cup of decafe for me.  I'll go sit in the back booth and relax a bit.

More or less started the demolition of the logging section on the SLOW today.  removed one of the Torti operating one of the 2 stub end switches (turnouts) on THAT part of the pike.  Checked to see where everything is held together and plan how to remove what needs to be removed to complete the project.  There is a remote torti using a piece of code 100 rail to link to a turnout on the mainline I will have to relocate somehow.

Mike, good to see you back in the forum!  Very sorry to hear about the stroke, but hopefully in time you will get some use of the affected limbs back.  I'll keep you in my prayers!

Jeffrey no problem sharing your frustrations with us...  We are pulling for you and really miss you when you are not able to get in here!  You are also in my prayers!

Ulrich I'll post the changes to my track plan as soon as I have it somewhat completed in Empire Express.  I like what you are planning for yours.  It should give you lots of switching duties.....Smile,Wink, & Grin

I keep looking out my kitchen window and smiling when I see the empty driveway!!!  After all these years the &@#% boat is finally gone!  Tomorrow night the Committee of Troop 1 is going to discuss buying my equipment trailer...  I'll be talking with their Commissioner tomorrow afternoon, and will probably show him the trailer then.  Soon I may have more driveway space....YES!

Catch you all later!

I can safely say she doesn't like my political point of view, I just hope she doesn't dock points because of it like the last one. If she does, I smell lawsuit since all of my other work in that class has been A-B stuff.

I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I'm gonna give it to you anyway, might help/can't hurt. First, I'd start with having a chat with the Dean of the department. If THAT doesn't help, go on up the chain of command. Keep in mind, you'll have to prove your grade was lowered due to political differences... Having A's and B's on other assignments will help in side-by-side comparisons. As a former instructor and "Dean (Program Director, Regional Center for EMS Education at Kirkwood Community College)," I'll remind you of what I had to remind my EMT and Paramedic students of: saying "so and so doesn't like me" won't get you very far. Just beeeeotching won't work either. You'll have to have facts, hard and defensible facts. Also...how you present your case will make or break you. If you give 'em a martyr complex, the persecuted victim... "she's out to get me because she's a (fill-in poly-tick party of your choice) and I'm a (fill-in the other poly-tick party)..." Won't work.

Trust me. DON'T doubt me.

Be prepared to cite specific, exact instances where you two had a difference of opinion, with direct negative impact on your grade. Have any witnesses?

Above all, act professional and mature...whining won't get you anything but the door. As for talking to a lawyer...I hope you got the bucks, the meter starts running as soon as they pick up the phone! And again, unless you've got a strong (i.e.: the lawyer thinks he's got a good shot at winning), they'll probably give you a lot of the same advice.

Proof and attitude. Have plenty of the first, save the later.

Good evening, I've got a craving for...El Charito bean and cheese burritos...as made back in '87/'88!!! Dinner I LIVED off of them in my early college days, haven't seen them since. Of all the microwave, nuclear nightmare burritos...these were THE BEST!!!!!!

Welllllll, I started this several hours ago. Got called-out for a house fire a block over. Heavy damage to the attic and 2nd floor, mostly heat/smoke with some H2O on the first floor. I sucked down two air bottles, went back in later for extensive overhaul and a game of "hide and seek" with the fire. It tried to sneak up on us, flared up very impressively in fact... I got the nozzle and as I was blasting The Beast, I said "now, it's personal." Afterward, back at the station, the gentleman who's house it was stopped by to say "thank you." THAT's rare, at least in my experience. The Legion was having corned beef and cabbage, and sent 20 meals worth to the station for us...so we had us a post-fire dinner.

Now, It's ten 'o clock...I'm exhausted, I'm sore...and it still feels like I've got an air-pack on my back.

I'm going to bed...see you-all tomorrow, God willing and the river don't rise.

Nighty night time, but I thought I'd check in first. Peeeee Yoooouu! What's that smell??? Oh, Bama's been workin' hard eh. Oh well, I've had my fair share of smelly days too.

I now have all the road bed laid for the lower half as far as the bench work I've built so far. The track is laid under the upper level that has not been applied and I need another sheet of glued together wood scraps for that. Tomorrow is Mom day and I have to work in the eve, so if there is enough time when I leave mom's and have to work I may pick up another sheet. We'll see. Tomorrow is me birth anniversary and I'd like to work on the RR but I doubt that will happen at all. Before I put the second level on I'd like to test the track. I've put feeders about every 6 feet so I should be alright as far as voltage drop goes.

Robby- Watch it, around here some places will arbitrarily tax a certain amount if they have you as a tipped employee. Such as if they pay you 6 dollars an hour and minimum wage is $8 and hour, they tax you on $8 because they know you make tips. Now THAT is wrong in my opinion. Taxing you on wages they THINK you PROBABLY make.

Chris- Poor innocent Rerun. Give him a doggy treat from me for having to live with such a burden as un warranted blame. Also, some places frown on tips because it gives the impression the employees can be "bought" to give them better service.

Cool! Sam Houston was mentioned twice on one pageThumbs Up.

Aztec- VCR's, yup big as a house and at least $1500 to get one. At least when I recall the first price. Now...... getting tough to even find one. Far North Texas!....Say, you DO know why the corn in Texas leans toward the north don't you? .......On second thought, better not answer that!!WhistlingLaugh

Rob- Sure glad Millie Kitty is home and doing well.

Barry- Though I never had a Beta, and the stereo doesn't have an 8-Track, (Mom's still does ) I have a video disc player. Not laser mind you, but the kind with a needle. It too is an RCA!

8500 HP Mike- Oh My! I'm glad your with us still. Your on going recovery will be added to my list tonight.

Garry- HURRAH!! Don't forget the progress pictures. You know how nosey we are.

Jeff- I do read all that you post and I admire you for what you are going through and, actually, how little you do complain. I know what you mean by venting. Not expecting an answer, but more just a bit of release. I do not pretend to know what you are going through and, don't take this the wrong way, but I hope I never do. I wish you didn't either. If you ever need to vent to someone who won't patronize you, but you just need to vent and hit the send button knowing someone will read and hear what you are saying , feel free as you offered 8500HP, to PM me. Or E-mail, but I don't read that but occasionally. Usually nothing there anyway but ads.

Ray- Looking out your window to the drive wouldn't put you smiling to the Southwest would it? It sure was bright here today!

Prayers for those in need. And healing. And recovery.

Also, some places frown on tips because it gives the impression the employees can be "bought" to give them better service.

Yup, I agree. But THAT said, I don't think THAT was the auction house's problem though... plenty of people got extraordinary service because they were in tight with the big boss. "If so-and-so shows up, you drop everything to get him loaded/unloaded (whichever the case was). No, with the auction house, it was just one of those "jobs Americans don't want to do" as evidenced by the Hondurans I was working with... I could write a book about the place.

Hey, we had another run last night...THAT brings the total number of calls for the Clarence Fire Dept. (1-3-1) to...4 so far this year. Around 0400, we get paged to "...a car smoking on the railroad tracks at 7th and Lombard." We roll, and yep...got a POS car, smoking a little bit, on the north side of the crossing, fouling the eastbound main. Those upset about the Detroit FD parking a ladder truck on the mains and being hit by AMTRAK will be pleased to know the Clarence Fire Dept. staged on the south side of the crossing, well clear of the tracks. I am presuming (I didn't hear the radio traffic) THAT dispatch notified the UP of our presence. Sheriff's deputy was there with his fancy SUV, hooked a chain to the car, drug it off the crossing. I thought it looked a little close to the rail yet, our DOT cop/firefighter agreed, he told the deputy to pull it farther. Pop the hood...belt slipped was burning off. We went home.

Gotta run, have to be in North Liberty by 10AM to interview the director of the NL food pantry, then to Solon to try and find out more on a drive to get stuff for a wounded soldier recovering at Walter Reed...then home to play newspaper guy as I try to hammer out these two articles and the one I was starting to write yesterday when we got the house fire.

Have a good, SAFE day everybody...a big WELCOME BACK! to MIKE...best wishes for all in need.

Good morning. It's 42 and sunny. The high will be in the mid 60's and it will be mostly sunny.

I went to the Deer Creek hospital this morning to have blood drawn so they can see what the level of Vancomycin is in my blood at it's lowest point. I have to go in again 30 minutes after my morning Vancomycin dose is complete so they can draw more blood to see what the high level is. Leave it to doctors to make a lot of work out of something. I also have to go see my primary doctor this afternoon and it will give me a chance to see if the pharmacy has gotten the approval yet for my newest antibiotic. I wonder, is this a preview of the kind of mess we'll have to look forward to with 'Free health care for all'? It seems so funny sometimes. The docs tell me to stay off my feet yet they demand that I go get this done or run over and get that done then to go jump through a bunch of hoops. Sometimes I don't know if I'm a patient or a mouse running through a maze.

Mornin' everyone!

Zoe I'll have an "Everything Bagel" and a cup of dark roast in a FGLK mug.  Please and thank you!  I'll go sit in the front booth and stare at all the activity outside.

Todd, North East corner actually.  The other driveway is on the South East side.  But it appears to be sunny outside in all directions at the moment.  Barry isn't even talking about "dull" today!  Currently 55°F under sunny skies here in the Beautiful Finger Lakes region of NYS.  Today we are supposed to break the 60° mark for the fist time this year with a high of 61°F this afternoon.  (I'm betting it will get higher by a couple degrees...)  Spring is evidently here as my neighbor across the street was out raking his lawn yesterday.  THAT also means Sn*w by next week....!Whistling

[edit]  Todd....  Happy Birthday sir! Happy B-Day  What?  39 again?!

Going to be a busy day today.  Have to run several errands, meet with a Scouting friend to help him with setting up a mail merge file in Office 2004 for Mac (we tried over the phone but I have Office 2008 for Mac and they changed how THAT is done), get my allergy shots, and drive to Rochester for a RR Hyterical Society meeting tonight.

Jeffrey sounds like a lot of fun! Whistling  Still, they could be doing all this as an in hospital patient........Wink

Best get myself moving!

Later!

 Good Afternoon,

just a short stopover to have a coffee and grab a cookie - thank you, Janie!

Todd - happy birth anniversary !!!

Jeff - that sucks!  Bureaucrats are the same (expletive, deleted) people all over the world. Especially those in health care. I have given up to ask the "Why" and Why not". Any other comment I´d give to this issue would earn me a ban from this forum. I hope you will be doing all right soon! You are in Petra´s and my Angel

This morning, a distant friend of ours (friend is actually saying too much) called.  We had not heard from him for about 3 years. After hearing what was going on at our end, he cancelled all his business appointments to take us out for lunch Dinner  We went to our favourite Greek restaurant - a treat we cannot afford any longer. Thought it was kind of nice of him to do. Yes, Janie - this is where this "lovely" aroma around me comes from... Whistling

Not much MRR ing done, other than fine tuning my plan (getting that S-curve straightened out) and awaiting delivery of my first BR loco. As the "Jubillee" is out of stock, I go for this one :

It is made by Heljan in DK and only needs to get a pair af Kadees and a light - Robby P.-style - weathering job!

The first day of Spring is nearing its end -  it is still bright and warm - 14 C!

You all have a good day! Btw - has anyone heard anything from Tom (twhite) lately?

Coffee in a  SUNNY SOUTHERN  mug, please.

Here are a couple pics of my attempts at scratch trees. I still need to touch up the sticks/trunks with some acrylics, but otherwise they're done. Also need to get some additional colors (some brown flocking) to add more variation.

My wife likes them, so they'll do. Already painted up another group of twigs to make the next batch.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Finally got the new antibiotic today. All this fight and bother for Ciprofloxacin, something I've already been using for some years now, and the insurance starts a fight over it like it's something new being added. That's crazy. At least I should be able to get a few things done tomorrow as I don't have to go anywhere. I have to pull the EGR valve on the car and put a little epoxy on the base of it so it'll seat right with the manifold. That would take about an hour and much of it can be done while sitting.

Good Evening---

Got the yard finally cleaned up/out. Today we got to 17C (62.5F) and the sun, being all bright, was strong enough to cause a few of us to have sunburns. Went to the doctor's today as well and ended up with more prescriptions. I got those and that was when I went to finish off my backyard-----by placing a scale model floating dock and played with a R/C boat in my lakeMischiefWhistling

You'd think they would be on their guard when I have my hands on my crutches. They're heavy duty metal affairs weighing in at about 7 or 8 pounds each and rated to support 650 pounds. They aren't the thin cheap aluminum jobs, rather some other metal (they are magnetic) a little over 1/16 of an inch in thickness and as I said very heavy. What the heck, they didn't cost me anything. They were supplied by the state 6 years ago.

Evening Ya'll

Went to the LHS today to pick up a few tubes of flexible paint for handrails. I took a cursory glance at their train stuff and noticed that they are now MSRP. They also don't have any kits (all pre-built buildings) and almost nothing in HO. They did have atlas trucks and I need a few sets of trucks. On the plus it's usuallcheaper than ordering.for small things and they have been a pretty good help with the paints and stuff.

Mike, good to have you back!! Hope you get better soon Angel

Kieth, I'm not really sure what El Caminos, Rancheros, or Bajas are supposed to be. They are somewhere between a car and a truck, but I'm not really sure where....

Chris, Thanks for the advice.

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Good evening Diners! It tried to shower today, but didn't come to anything, we could use a bit of wet - too many grass fires.

Bamma:

....(what can I say, I love to help people with/through my automotive knowledge).
...which is impressively useful!Bow  I was on the receiving end of similar expertise this morning, taking a Halifax Regional Municipality Hertiage Buildings Inspector on a tour of our local listed building which has the museum in it. In the course of this he noted the thermostats for the electric heaters (not used but that didn't matter) were direct in line and should be swapped out for the electronic kind because they save 11-12% energy cost!  Who knew?  We have the same  thermostats at home, so I asked for the procurement details and he gave me name and # for a chap he knows who might well be able to send me some free! Thumbs Up

Todd: ]

Such as if they pay you 6 dollars an hour and minimum wage is $8 and hour, they tax you on $8 because they know you make tips. Now THAT is wrong in my opinion. Taxing you on wages they THINK you PROBABLY make.
Restaurant workers here get minimum wage, because it is assumed they will get more with tips. NOW there is a move to have a lower minimum wage for LTRs (Likely Tip Recipients) I feel that is grossly unfair and a discrimination.SoapBox

Keith: (I think I've got that about right)Big Smile

Rob:

Also need to get some additional colors (some brown flocking) to add more variation.
...If you burn wood at all then your wood shed floor (or the bottom of your wood basket) should provide al the mixed brown coloured dust you can use at a considerably lower cost!Smile,Wink, & Grin

The Halifax TV station we watch most for our weather news has been showing pics of Nova Scotia bridges. Today it was the East River Bridge, Sheet Harbour, and "Cindy-the-weather-lady" said she'd never seen it. So I took the camera on my walk this evening. I'm sending her pictures of Sober Island Bridge - and inviting her to visit our community. LOL.

Well, Kris has come up to bed, so I think I'll join her. Goodnight all, and God Bless. Prayers continuing for all in need of Healing, Comfort, Prosperity and Peace.Angel

A bowl of turkey chili, please.

Thanks for the tree compliments, suggestion & humor guys.

Long day on the ol' farm with another planned for tomorrow. All I did MRR-wise was to replace the little barn & farm house cold LEDs with warm ones, which arrived in the mail today.

Have a good night y'all.

Der John.. quote:  Keith: (I think I've got that about right)Big Smile

Nah.. that was back in January.. I was fixing a broken water pipe..and doing copper soldering.

Being that my daughter baked me a cake.. well when I was done.. well I should say.. when Jeanne was done helping me..Jeanne and my daughter left to go shopping.  Which then lead me to doing the 'icing' on the cake..myself.  After that I was tired.. and went to bed.

But thank you for the be- lated Birthday greetings.   I'm 58 years old.. I'm up there alrightie.. along with words like.. Bottle stoppers.. AIRMAIL.. wooping cough  measles chicken pocs Iron lung 5 cent candy bars.. First Man on the Moon Civil Rights Rock and Roll  Apple pie 4th of July Bar B Q's takin my dad's 61 Chevy out for a 'joyride' at age 15  (3 speed on the wheel) and just plain ol swimming in the river.

BTW John~ In answer to your other question.. concerning the decal / painted yellow lines.. a simple lead pencil seems to mark the cobblestone fairly nice.. enogh for me to see it anyways.

Right now as far as the layout is concerned.. I took Jims advice on Avalanche city.. and am planning on doing some major surgery on that cliff hanger.  tone it back a bit.  So as you can see~  I take everyone's advice into consideration.. even Jims..~ lol.  i think I over did it a bit much .. and I thank you Jim.. ~

Bama.. for what its worth. I've been having fun just cleaning this baby up.  Fun things.. well some car fanatics are crazy about certain things.  Myself personally.. I have this thing about Front License Plates.  They usually mess up the looks of the car.. and I usually take em off.  Only once have I been writen up for no front plates.  But on the El Camino.. well.. I dropped the front plate down.. almost unoticable, and out of the way of the trim on the bumper.  I'll try to get a pic of it.  It looks much better.  As far as the paint.. well I think it was waxed one time.. in its whole lifetime.  The paint.. is there.. but the lacquer finish.. or the clear finish is has an 'orange peal' look to it.. so I've been using "Mother's" car polish /3 step / wax. I've tried all sorts of polish and wax.. and the 'Mother's' seems to really do a great job.  I'm even on the lookout for a chrome exhast tail pipe.. with a mellow 'varoom' to it.. just dumb stuff like that.. but its fun.  Even gonna check out on some 'twin tail pipes' installed if possible.

I forget who asked.. but to me.. an El Camino is a truck.. and has the suspension to handle some fairly heavy cargo.  It may look like a car.. but its a truck.  I even like the fact that it comes with Chevy installed 'Air Shocks' and they work just fine after all these years.. and hold air.  I've put some in .. and placed the Elk on a slight 'Rake' Looks cool~

Jeff.. you hang in there bud.

 Good Morning,

well, the weather is back to what is normal for this time of the year - dull, overcast, a little drizzle now and then - at least it is much warmer than a few weeks ago.  Not a time to be spend outside, though.

Chloe, I´ll have a mug of coffee and a breakfast bagel, please.

Had to fight with PayPal about my payment to UK for the loco I have ordered. They were not able to  allocate the payment to the order. It was the only order on my account ... how stupid! Confused Banged HeadSoapBox. Needed to drive to the bank and re-issue the payment. I am not sure whether this will turn out right now.

I will see my neighbour this weekend to talk about building the benchwork with him. He has a full set of woodworking tools and that extra pair of hands is always welcomed. I have to solve some construction issues on the sector plates, as I have never build one before. Proper indexing is an issue for reliable operation. The plan is now finalized - all I need to do is to make a 1:1 print from my CAD program to check whether all will fit the way I want it. There are some clearances which may be a little tight ConfusedWhistling

For those who collect track plans, here is the updated version. I "softened the s-curve and re-arranged the terrace houses a little.

Keith - when I was an exchange student in Washington State back in 1973/74, that El Camino was high up on my favorite list. Those cars where quite handy to go "watch the submarine races"  - a phrase used by the teenagers of Bainbridge Island for Friday night dating... Whistling I remember there was a spot at Hood Canal where you actually could see subs go into Bremerton Shipyard. Ah, those memories of days gone by  Wink

Mike - I am sorry to hear about your health problems. Petra and I have included you in our Angel for a speedy and thorough recovery.

You all have a good day!
