Yeah, that would be funny. I better get it out in the open right now as to what kind I used. The breed was American Long hair/Tabby mix.Laugh [(-D]

Morning all.

I didn't make it in yesterday, as I was busy.

Yesterday at school, I got to a thing most people would love to do all day.

I got to make a mountain and hills out of woodland scenics plaster cloth, which is good fun, and practice. It was for our African Village we're making, but I count it as experience for my own railroad.

Has anyone seen Sue lately? I haven't seen her in in awhile.

Time to go.

Coffee, please.

Mark,  You are right about that.  I have not been around as much.  My computer died in January.  When I replaced it, the 22" screen and Vista prompted Larry to get the MS Flight Simulator.  Guess who has been hogging my computer.  The nice weather has also encouraged me to work outside.  I usually check in but don't always post.  The only layout activity has been to exercise the locos while we workout.  Are you spending much time outside?  It was 65 degrees yesterday afternoon.

Sue

Regrettably Jeff, that's one article I'd have to "sneeze" at. Much as I love cats.

Afternoon folks!

Spent 4 hours at the dentist this morning having a porcelin inlay put into one of the molars. Black Eye [B)] Wow, wiped out too from running errands all day after that event.

Errands included picking up my double crossover switch at Train Buddy that had been on order for about 5 months.

I've got my computer back online. I had to get a modem that would connect to the USB port. Stupid XP won't recognize my network adapter. Oh, just wait until I get my new mainboard.

Rob.....I'm so glad to hear that your wife is better.  Thats nothing to mess with there!

All,

Well, the doc gave my wife the choice on whether she wanted to stay another night in the hospital or not.  She decided to sleep in her own bed tonight, so I brought her home.  She's upstairs resting comfortably now.  Think I'm going to go hang with her for a while.....Later!

A strong , please & thank you!

***Ryan...OUCH, don't envy your dental work. Hope you are not in pain.

***Philip, sending healing thoughts your wife's way tonight. Sure can understand her opting to return home. Crossing fingers for a FAST & FULL recovery for her.

***Ed, that was an interesting (and long) thread about concor vs kato GS4. After all the back & forth posts, I think (if I had the money) I would opt for the kato.

Question folks: how easy would it be to unconvert an Atlas N scale Shay loco from DCC back to the original DC setup?

Big steam in action, this was a great movie shot in 1958-1959 of the yellowstones hauling iron ore in Wisconson.  22 minute video, well worth the watch!

Evening Gang: We took the calf to the sale barn this morning. He brought $1.10/lb. Not to bad but not up to the price of gas $3.00/gal. I really feel for Sue with there prices. Our diesel is at $3.60.

No MRRing today. Tomorrow morning Mary Ann and I are going to the season opening of Six Flags. They sent us an invite eith parking pass so we figured why not? At least I don't have to run around checking on last minute gremlins. I get to set back and enjoy. We won't stay long, just a quick bite and back home.

The gang at the live steam track will be installing the new transfere table for the locomotive shed and steaming bays. It raises up to what ever height needed for unloading equipment from pickups and trailers. After that we have to do the foundations for the new diesel transfere table at the diesel area and install the bays there. Then we just have to get the depot's third track in and we're ready for the spring meet. Oh, I forgot the normal track work and doing something about the depot out at Rio Vista. It's in bad need of new siding on the building. It looks like a busy couple of months.

Best wishes to those recuperating. I'll stop in tomorrow.

Good Night All

Hunter - When we met in January of 2000, you were just a 6 week old pup who walked his way into this heart of mine as the only runt in the litter who would come over to me. And today, I sit here and tell you I am sorry we had to put you down. It was the best thing for you and also the right thing to do. May you now rest in peace and comfort. Love, Dad. 8 June 2010

I love you and miss you Mom. Say hi to everyone up there for me. Rest in peace and comfort. Love, John. 29 March 2017

Evening folks-just coffee for me-my Donkey coffee cups haven't been given away yet have they? LOL!

Sorry about being away for awhile. I've been completely disorganized & out of it. May have to do with the fact that I'm so sick & tired of the cold, snow & ice. Our driveway has gotten so treacherous that we've had to park on the street! (Don't ask about Tuesday, when I tried to park in the driveway, failed, went sideways, almost took out the neighbors' fence (not to mention my passenger side mirror) & then getting out to assess the situation, falling on my face in the snow!)

Well, good things are coming-our friends in the UK & Australia consider the 1st of March the 1st day of spring/autumn, so changes will coming soon hopefully!

Mom is FINALLY home from the hospital as of this past Monday. She's been having some cranky moments, but been working thru them. She's been trying to get caught up on her paperwork (bills, grange stuff, etc) & I think the weather affects her as much as me.

Dawn's waiting on a new job with more $ at a plastics plant near here (Sterlite) she went for orientation this past Tues, but they weren't ready to hire yet Sigh [sigh] but told her to call back, for they said they want to hire her, but they have to wait on management approval. We'll see I guess.

Anyways, gettin' late, & better git to bed. Hope everyone's well & happy, & the best thoughts to all here-I'll be back!

I just picked up a small dusk to dawn light from Wal-Mart. I'm going to adapt it to control the structure lighting on my layout. When I turn the room lights off, the layout lights will turn on, and vise versa.

New haven, welcome to the diner.  I didn't figure that movie would last long; it was a bootleg from a DVD.  I'm impressed it took the lawyers that long to stop him.

Mitch, Lakeland train show is only 2 weeks away.

Ok time for bed, worked on the layout way to long tonight.

For that problem I would put some window tint over the photo cell.

I-5,

Let me add to the others when I say......

Just sit back in a booth and tell either Chloe or Zoe (the virtual twins) what you'd like and they'll get you all fixed up!  The only thing you've got to watch is hitting the top post of the page.  If you do then you have to buy for everyone on the page with your virtual money.  It's OK though, because in here we're all filthy rich!

Oh, and there's one other thing I should probably warn you about......don't get around Mark's mouth if there's pie around.  You might get sucked in!

Oh wait, thats not Mark.....it's ME!
