Good evening all,
Jim, About your question on the MTH 10 wheeler, I think it would run on 027, but for a sure answer ask Tom (spankybird). He is the one who recomended that engine to me over the Lionel version. I think he runs his on 027, but I am not sure. I run mine on my inner loop which is 031 Realtrax.
John Baker, It would be nice if you could share the Pub pictures with the rest of us, maybe do some structure models if you show the exteriors as well as interiors. Could you post the pictures on a site such as shutterfly and give us a link?
Don Baker, Don't let it bother you, some people have no sence of humor. It was a pretty nice, but cold day today. PennDot is in deep dodo over the inept way they handled the snow storm. The Gov. is very unhappy, we are likely to get a new Secretary of Trans, or maybe someone further down the ladder will be made the scape goat. Didn't really bother me, being retired I just stay home. BTW the Gov. made it a free day on the PA turnpike to help get the truck traffic moving and then there was a tanker accident that blocked the eastbound lane east of Lebanon, PA so they had to detour traffic on local roads around that. There are no decent local roads around that area even in good weather. Most be a real mess. The turnpike was clean and dry in the sections they showed on TV.We are baby sitting the three granddaughters this evening, 6, 4 & 3 months. Ran trains for the two oldest awhile. 3 steamers and a lashup of two GP9s, all 5 with smoke. Cough, cough. Completed the catenary on the shelf layout. Now have about 24 feet more to go. Next week is going to be pretty busy, unless I get another snow day, so it wont get any work until at least next Saturday.Have a nice weekend,

Hello Buckeye, don't worry, if the Chief is somehow held back, we can take up right where he left off. Y'all need a good helping of Grits to ward off that cold weather up that way. Had some Cheese Grits and Sweet Tea last night. We won't have it tonight as we are celebrating Chinese New Year a few days early. While the Chinese don't have Grits, they do have some items that are close. Anyway, I think Don was banned over on the Other forum and I don't think he has any problems over here. I rarely go to the other side as too many flames are thrown about. I do go for specific questions that I know they have whole sections devoted to. But, once I get what I need, I come back here to the friendly forum.
Y'all have a good weekend.

Just returned from a class on LRFD. Everyone needs a course in LRFD.
Hockey game tonight.....probably another lackluster performance by the 27th team in the NHL. (Total teams = 30.)
Mother-in-law left today after two week visit.
LAZ, how did your bear stop all that traffic? It sounds like someone in Pennsylvania just graduated with a degree in Incompetence. Heads should roll for that stunt on I-78.
See ya down the tracks,
Looking forward to a nice 3 day weekend. I have to put a crib together and then hang some curtain rods for my wife's sister tomorrow. Her husband thinks you glue curtain rods to the wall!
Tonight I'm going to spend the evening "camping" with the kids in the living room. They are looking forward to it! Should be fun.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Dennis, Good deal. Let me know times you'll be there. My marital manager will be up north, as her friend is in a hospice(cancer...), so I'll out and about. The little one may do a sleep over at a friends house, Saturday should be wide open.

Morning [almost afternoon] Had to a 8 AM vender meeting. Usually don't attend as they are all the same [for the last three years]. Forgot my picture Bass Pro ID and had to get a temp one. Had my Cabela's ID but don't think that would go over very well.
Don B, hope you are joking about the banning. If you are not, let us really know. If it is true, I can ban myself and stop posting here for your thread was OK. I'm sure several others feel the same way.
Marty, hope you got big seats. I flew Southtrash as direct flight and half the cost. Had window seat as I had an A,. Line started before the plane ever landed at RDU. STUPID!!!! Anyway a youg lady ended up sitting next to me. Got more rubbing than I've gotten from the wife in a week. Wasn't becasue she liked me, it was becasue she was so big. Need special seats for those folks or require isle seats for them.
Well sunny Florida is windy and cold. Freeze warning for tonight. Well, back to the floor. One good thing about us being cold, the Yanks are colder.
Have a good one.

You're kidding right? They have taken away your posting privilidges because of posts on this forum? I mean other than bashing their forum, which I don't think you did, what grounds do they have? Geez as long as you follow the rules for their forum on their forum and don't bash them on another... I hope that it's just a log in issue other wise someone is just getting wacky.
Have a great day folks!

John, I do look forward to the photos. I have told my friend with the Pub about them and he is waiting with bated breath.
Hope you have found your task a most rewarding one. Keep up the good work.

Rich, I just spoke with "She Who Must Obeyed" and I may be able to make it. I will have to see once we figure out the rest of the plans. Jacksonville is not too far from Valdosta, GA. If you are going to be there, it would be nice to catch up... besides being on this forum, I am also an exiled FF from NJ.

Dennis, Due to an attack of high powered inertia, I've not got anything done apart from adding captions to the first set of Pub photo's, I will forward them by e-mail soon.
Just done a set of questions for the pub quiz. There's one clever blighter who wins most times, I'm hoping I can stitch him up with the qualifier question, "What are GRITS"?
Cornish hens, are they some special breed? The stuffing mixture sounds real tasty, pity the alcohol is evaporated by the cooking process. Or do you add the brandy as you serve? Could lead to an interesting bit of research.
Just got round to watching the video that came with Lionel, the track oval can be hung on a nail and doesn't have to be dismantled after a running session, solves one problem!
Just had 24hrs heavy rain here in Stockport, I guess it's the tail end of New York/Snohio storm you had a few days ago.
