I'm waiting on the new scale F3 A and B units in SF colors. Due next month I think. The A unit has a smoker in it!

Hurray for me!! I didn't even get in that last little scuffle, pays off to keep my mouth shut if I don't know what I'm talking about.   Or, maybe its because I drive a Cheby.

Afternoon everyone,

Was a good weekend here, I did some crazy stuff yesterday, involving a bike and a creek. Lets just say I got soaked!

I am going to leave the scuffle alone. I don't like to get involved with that stuff. I hope Brent didn't really mean what he said about leaving the board for a little. I enjoy talking to him when I can.

Anyway, I see people from York were happy. I was too when I came home from the Large Scale Show.

Talk to everyone later.

Hello boys (n girl..)

Sorry 's been a while, had a week off in the ol' hospital.  Totally unforeseen.  Haven't seen my bed for a week. time for a nice unmolested nap.  Sorry I seen to have missed the BEEMER flap.  Just as well, make mine Mopar.

Hope to stay in touch, hope all are well, if no, prayers to all who need 'em.  Now if the smoke would just clear out....Dennis.. you're west of that mess arn't you?

BRENT - Hey - we need you here - even if you are from MD!!  If you don't show up, I'll have to start thinking about missing you.Wink [;)]

anjdevil2 - Hope you are doing OK -

Dennis - Yeah - Been wondering about all that fire in Ga. We've been getting kinda dry around here and had a few fires in the mountains.  Hope Lucky is improving.

Brent, I thought this was a fun, tongue-N-cheek friendly back at ya discussion.  I certainly was not taking any of this seriously.  If I have offended thee, I am sorry.  I too drive a "machine", but haven't mentioned the brand.  I agree that these do make for a "driving experience".  I can appologize for my self, but I also believe that no one on this thread has meant any ill thoughts.  Sometimes, we just take things a bit far.

Bob, thanks for keeping us on the rails!  I am sure at times, it is no fun.

As for the fires, they are mostly a bit south and east of us, but we do get some of the smoke drift this way.  Smells like the forest up the street is burning down.  Some of our patients are from the affected areas.

Lucky, the dog, has had it rough.  I went to visit today and the vet says that she is getting a little better, but she has a long road ahead, if she makes it that far.  She can stand and walk for a few steps, but then just collapses again.  She also has gone blind.  We are not sure if this is as a effect of the neuro toxins, or a advancement of the disease state.  She otherwise is a healthy dog, so we will see if she will pull through this one....Thanks for the prayers folks.

Dennis

Chuck, on my frequent visits to the Northern Peninsula of Michigan and Ontario, I have been asked many times if I am from Georgia because of my "Suthern" accent.  After LOL for about ten minutes, I tell them I am from Ohio.  I was told that many of the national news broadcasters hail from Ohio because everyone can understand what we are saying.

John-  Do you know how many Southerners it takes to pop a pot of Popcorn?.........It takes exactly three of them to do this task. After 3 years, we are still ignoring him.  Remember his popcorn is from Buckeyeland. Big Smile [:D] In fact, he owes us a debt of gratitude for cajoling him to the point that he built the bench-work.

Now that things have had a little time to simmer down, how many of you have the intellectual honesty to admit that you actually believed that the words and phrases bimmer, Nittany, thesis, Tempus Fugit, and Bird-in-Hand were "dirty" and worse yet were designed to besmirch the reputation of another member's good wife?

Or, if you prefer, who among you recognized from the start that the whole thing was a gag composed of malapropisms, double-entendres, and just plain absurdities intended to be funny?

I'd really like to know.

It's important to me; but do go back to re-fighting the Civil War if it pleases you. By the way, I believe the term is "egging it on." Also, the little sign would be more effective if it were spelled correctly.
