Jim, the name of the movie is "Fireproof". As to the release date, they are looking at August, '08. The filming part is done, so now it is upto edit. This should go relatively fast as we did it all in HD/digital. They had a guy here who's job was to download all video/audio feeds as they were being shot and it allowed for immediate rough edits. Remarkable stuff when you get to see behind the scenes. I will try to update as we draw closer to completion. If you google Fireproof the movie, it should lead you to a web site.
I am getting tired tonight. Did 10 cases and still have some to finish. I also have an early morning case, so I will sign off for now.

Evening all!
Hope all are well. Finished and shipped the HO layout to NYC. Got a report that it arrived intact and the new owner is very happy. Have one more Lionel layout to finish this week and delivery is Jan 3 or 4. Owner's new house is not ready, so it will not make Christmas. They came by and looked at it last night. The 5 year old was awestruck and was busy running trains for quite a while. Good fun.
Weather here has been very nice. Cold mornings followed by nice afternoons (low 70's once in a while). Might rain Sat with falling temps to the 50's.
Went shopping this evening and scored a couple of items for the better half. I am doing very good this year as I usually do not venture out until 2 or 3 days prior to Christmas. This year I have 4 significant gifts already!

Ctt arrived saw but not yet read the Jumijo article, it looks like a very nice layout. I was running the HGX today and decided to check the CW-80 as it was still in the set box. Clipped two wires to the layout track and it worked just like it should. So back in box. Also ran the 773 from the reissue set. I wish they had used NYC instead of Lionel Lines on the tender.
My wife came home from Awanas christmas party and brought me some peanutbutter cookies. yum. Brutus don't tell Chewy I ate them. Stop by for ice cream if you come this way.

They have a show called Taste of America that did a segment on sea salt. This guy has these A-frames he made with clear plastic tents and raised tables inside that have troughs covered in black plastic. He picks up a big tank full of sea water, drives back to the salt "plant" and fills the trays. When it is dry, he harvests the salt from the plastic. Also any other minerals or residue that was dissolved in the sea water! That's it - it is bottled and sold.
Well, our travel lady is off this week, but when I go back to work after the Holidays, I have to get stuff settled to travel for 2 weeks training, but not to Baltimore, sorry Mitch, Fife, etc. Should be nice in Orlando for two weeks?! Trying to figure out if the family can come visit on the weekend while I'm there and we could do a day at Disney or something. Then I'll be running some training in our office.

We use the Morton coarse 'Kosher' salt because it is larger, easier to get a pinch to season as we cook. I understand that Kosher salt dissolves faster in hot (heated) food. I have not tried Sea Salt. All sea salt is not 'Kosher', but there are 'Kosher-certified' sea salts.
I found this at Cyber-kitchen.com: Kosher salt: Coarse salt used for koshering meat; i.e., drawing out the blood by soaking in salted cold water ("melikha").

When I do one of those I like to have quite a few guests, the method to my madness is prior to serving I cut it off the bones b4 carving and save them for a nice pot of barbecue ribs bones.
When it comes to cooking I prefer to use kosher salt.
Having a blast getting ready for friday, should be lots o' fun.

Kosher salt. The recipe called for 1/2-cup of kosher salt, but I thought it was too much.
Afternoon guys, nice tone on the pot today....thanks. I am pleased reading the good reports about the Legacy. Mine was ordered early on so I guess it will be here before too long. Looking forward to using it as I have a few TMCC engines and this will help with the bride as "Honey, these new engines have a whole bunch of goodies to enjoy since we have the Legacy system", that and some nice jewelry should give me the go ahead to get off train restriction for a few engines.

Bride arrived with a standing rib roast (prime rib) the other night...said she couldn't pass it up for the price. Last night was my first attempt at one of these. I found a salt crusted horseradish recipe and went for it. OH MY! Au Gratin potatoes and roasted parmesan asparagus. It will be hard to go out for Prime rib again. Planning on trying the horseradish rub on the brisket in the summer!
Chef: I added 3-TBS salt to make the crust. The interior was seasoned perfectly, but the outer crust was a too salty. Any tips? Should I remove the crust before serving?

It is cool in SE Indiana with temps in the 30s. I did trackwork at the YMCA and Christmas cards for people at work. Finals are for Lucas this week. The only classes he has to worry about are English and Math. Everything else is ok. I hope everyone has a good day.

Do you leave your Cab2 reciver plugged in all the time even when you aren't going to run your trains for a few days? I don't see why not but can't find anything in the book about it.
