Sturgeon,

I'm using a tylenol ibeprovine mixture. I have an Iceman, and the icepack is inside my brace, and I have a hose that circulates the water.

The pain has been very tolerable, so I'm very happy about that. I've been playing XBOX360 for a while, but now I'm watching The Kingdom with my dad.

Have a good evening everyone.

Evening all

Thanks again on the congrats

Colin-The word is ADVIL or Ibeproven (sp?)  Works great for me for swelling and pain.  Do they have you doing the ice/heat thing?

Buckeye- Thanks for the invite!  It would be just me and maybe my bride as she attends some of the classes also.  I'll look at my class schedule / work and see when there is a time when I do not need to rush south to be at work by 6:30 p.m.  The Pope could not make it due to lack of security because of all the people visiting Minford and the famous Mule Town Mini Mart.  Have you been at the Greater Portsmouth International Airport?

I've been to the Newman Center a few times.  Oldest daughter went to OSU for a while.

CSXect- Schmitts MMMMMM good.  Ever have their beer sampler?  Goes great with their brats and German potato salad.

Have a great evening, may God bless

Jim

Howdie All !

Kinda the calm before the storm around here. Gotta start puttin' everything in order, ie housekeeping, before starting preparations for Christmas festivities.

Hope our friends from across the pond drop in, came across a youtube video of a sound change/upgrade to the Hogwarts and am wondering if it would be a worthwhile endeavor to make the change.

Your are more than welcome to visit and run the layout. Bring the kids. I am home for the whole month of January except for one weekend meeting for work.  Now where is that meeting?  Oh, I remember!  Have you ever heard of Orlando? Also congratulations on your Rite of Acolyte.  I guess Pope Benedict could not get a flight into Portsmouth at this time of year.  All the tourist traffic really puts a strain on your airport. Good Morning all

Welcome Reuben!

Warm (55F) and wet in Southern Ohio.  At work and the assignments are passed out.  I put some pictures of the 594 Track Gang on the Photo fun.  Right now it is just setting on the layout.  At some point when I'm not working at work, or on the garage I'll get it installed.  Train room is a wreck right now because that is where Santa hides gifts.

Colin-How is the knee?  Hope feeling OK

Buckeye- Looks like a busy train room.  I'd like to see it some time.  Maybe when classes start up in January a get together could be arranged?

Javier-Glad you got to the Duke Energy layout.  Pretty neat.  The Union Terminal Museum has other great displays in addition to the train layout.

The photographer who was at the Mass when I received the Rite of Acolyte sent me a picture, and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I'm the one kneeling in front of the man in purple

May God bless

Jim,

Have you not heard?  Mickey Mouse was stolen by some gang members last night.  Goofey & Pluto came to help but got lost at Jupiter!

Hey! I was just joking with you Jim boy!!

If you do come to see the Mouse make sure you secure your car 100% and move all visible objects to the trunk or remove from your car before departing for Mouse Land, Orlando don't want people to know that they have a very very high crime rate, # 3 in Florida for gang problems!!  But Orlando having high crime is NO joke!!

Finally, After a rough season and succesfull month. I took a week off and went to Lebanon, Ohio. It's cold so far. Does anyone know any good spot for train watch?

Merry Christmas!

Chef...First of all Lebanon is a beautiful small Ohio town.  It was an old stage coach stop between Dayton and Cincinnati.

For train watching, forget about Lebanon and go to the museum (old train station in Cincinnati) and watch the yard from the tower and see the huge S scale layout of Cinncy.  It is the best layout in this part of the country.  There is also a good train store in Mason, Ohio which is very close to Lebanon.  It is in the old downtown area of Mason on the north side of the stree.

Have a good trip. Cool [8D] Hope you can stand all the Ohio sunshine. Whistling [:-^]

I agree with Buckeye.  This is a great museum.  Great layout and in the perfect scaleWhistling [:-^]  Around Christmas time there used to be and mabe still is a nice temporary layout set up at the Duke Energy building in downtown Cincinnati, a few blocks from Fountain Square.

Thanks all for the nice comments about the grandkids in the train pictures.  Some proper attire is really needed,  the kids father is a fan of a team from the north; one more reason not to like him!

Laz-Have fun with the legacy

Colin-Hope and pray for quick recovery.  You'll probably hurt more today than yesterday but it will get better.  Now you will be able to predict weather with the amount of pain in your knees!  My knees woke me early today.

Anyone heard from Lisa?

May God bless

Buckeye & Sturgeon:

Thank you for the information. I am in Lebanon, Ohio. Today, My girlfriend and I went to LM & M Railroad station. It operates a GP-9. http://www.lebanonrr.com/easter.htm

I went downtown to Duke Energy Building to see the display and designed by the Baltimore and Ohio in 1946. The track layout 36-1/2' x47' have over 50 engines, 45 color-position lights, and approximately 300 cars. Train layout is broken down and storage after Dec. 31st. Every year, you have over 200,000 visitors stroll thruugh the lobby. I really enjoy the view. I try to see the Museum but it closed at 5PM. Banged Head [banghead]

Once Again,

Thanks

Sir James, once I start my next layout I'll probably get TMCC or Legacy.  I guess that the upgrade chips for docksiders to make them TMCC work with Legacy like other TMCC locomotives...?  I've got 3 of them and will want to upgrade them 4 sure.

Hi GIZ,

BUSY day today.  Went to Shamokin,Pa. today and spent some time, 2hrs. , with friends 85 yr. old MOM.  She loved the company and then went to see the Big HO layout.  3751 sq ft of pure pleasure of the coal region.  Really neat stuff, had fiber optics for tail and head lights in cars as well as miners lights for there helmets.  Pretty neat, must have took for ever.

Got home at 730 then ran trains for 2.5 hrs.  Ah all is good with the world!

Hope all had fun today.

COLIN hope you are recovering?
