Good afternoon all,

It is sunny and mild in SE Indiana with temps in the 50s today.  We watched "Close to Home" and "Numb3rs" last night.  The streets of Greensburg are no longer safe!   Lucas has his license!!!  He took the SAT this morning and he is hanging out with his friends this afternoon.  We did housework this morning and I have some outside activities this afternoon.  I did sleep in this morning so I missed the dining car.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Thank you guys very much for all of the support. As of now, we do not know if it has spread, and hopefully it won't. He has always been positive, and I have never seen him once down, ever. He is my Hero. My Hero, no one elses. I love him to death.

We do know that they will insert the seeds in his prostate, and then we will see what happens from there.

Well, a little better news.

I just finished this a few minutes ago. It will be for my Garden Railroad. It was made with very small nails, with glue for extra strength. I still have to paint it, as well as the wheels. It is going to be a load for a flatcar that I am ordering soon.

Good afternoon from beautiful, warm and sunny Roger's Corners!

I'm HOME!!!!  Wow, what a week of travel!  Just returned from meetings in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Tired, too.  For the first time in over a month, snow is missing from my front yard.  The front is shaded from the sun by the house, so it lingers.

I need to run some trains.

Colin, I sure am sorry to hear about your Grandfather.

See ya down the tracks,

Colin,
I am over at my father-in-laws, he gets his Sunday paper on Saturday - that still dumbfounds me... any way in the Parade Magazine on page 18 there is an article on Prostate Cancer... it is rather informative... if you don't get it, let me know I'll mail it to you.

Evening all.  Been waiting 45 minutes to use computer.  Some middleschool kids were on it.  Seems some Rugby [boys and girls] team is here in hotel.  Obviously on one is looking after them as they are all over the place.  If they are not careful, there will be little rugbies in 9 months.  Tired.  Sold lot more chargers.

BTW: got email from Spankybird [Tom] and said his comupter crashed.  Someone needs to start the Sunday Photo.

GOOOOOOOD NIGHT.

Chief, glad you are having lots of success in your post retirement job.  At this rate, you will need to re-retire.  They seem to be working you a bit much these days.  Make sure you take a little down time to enjoy the life.

Colin, sorry about your Grandfather.  My Dad has had Cancer and had the seeds planted.  With a minor surgery and the meds, he came through just fine.  I hope that it goes as well for your Grandad.  Will say some prayers.

Everyone remember to set your clocks ahead tonight, you don't want to be late for early church.  Anyway, it has been a busy day with running around with the kids.  Wife felt a bit better this afternoon so she went out planting flowers, I swept the pine straw and cones up and had a burning session tonight.  It was just too hot to burn this afternoon.  I believe it was over 80.  Could have used a little of Kevin's open door cooling down here.

Anyways, y'all take care now,

Dennis

Hi GIZ,

Long day from yesterday till today had to go to sis in laws to help move stuff around and get them situated.  Then came home and later today went looking for materials with wife for redo of bathroom(next this summer).  Went to Lowes didn't have what wife wanted.  Went to Home Depot and bingo.  Had all the Swanstone that she wanted for shower and sink.  Costing an arm and a leg?  But she gets what she wants so that might mean more train STUFF for me?  Came home went out to eat then ran trains for two hours, NO PILE UPS, great night.

88 there is a guy in Harrisburg that probably would have Mahogony his name is LAFFERTY LUMBER CO.  we sometimes deal with him good GIZ.  I don't know number but do a search.

Have a good one.

Colin - sorry to hear about your Grandfather. We hope all does well.

Spent entire day doing the yard - mulching many bushels of leaves. My house is at the end of a circle and faces a park to the west. So guess what - all the leaves from the park and all neighbors on the block end up in my yard and my neighbors when the wind comes from the northwest (Which is all winter). The wife spent the day doing the indoors spring cleaning.

Nothing but weeds growing. This past winter killed a lot of the grass. We'll see what happens.

Watching the Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus on PBS. Excellent.

Have a great evening all!

Regards, Roy

Evening / Morning all,

Got to love night shift, sleep during the day so often not knowing wether coming or going!

Colin, prayers for your Grandpop.  Not much time to work with trains today (yesterday??)  Won't do much till Monday when I'm off again.

I've been thinking of doing some detailing, on the layout.  Sort of taking a small section, then developing it, kind of like what I did with the gas station, maybe over by the coaling tower, any ideas?

Prayers to all who need them and thanks for all prayer answered

Mornin'---hey, where is everybody?  Sleepy heads!  Sunny and mild here in the Mid-Atlantic.  Can you sing with me, We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave!  Or, How you feeling! HOT-HOT-HOT!  Or,  Hot Town, summer in the city, back of my neck getting warm and gritty!

tmcc - chin up, boy.  Spend some quality time with him.

wrmcclellan - I live at the top of a hill, and I've always categoried leaves into 2 classes: GOOD leaves (the ones that blow down the hill and into my neighbors yard) and BAD leaves (the ones that don't have ambition enough to leave home).

88 - too bad you don't live in the CAROLINAS,  you could save money on your furniture needs by just going behind the local PIGLEY-WIGLEY and picking up some tomato crates.

dbaker48 - you missed a spot.

Well, it's Sunday, so propbably won't be reading any posts from the HOLY ROLLERS...

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....

It is a sunny 24 degrees. Going up to 50 today with sun all day. That's a good start for Spring.

Today, we have a few chores to do around the house. Then, I will watch the NASCAR race from Las Vegas. Maybe run trains later. Been slowly putting scenery on layout. I have a plan for roads. Working on the Dairy parking lot. I need to make a sign for it.

It looks like the 20th anniversary CTT truck is available. Csxt30 John ..posted a thread on this. Thanks, John !!!!!!!!!

Daylight savings time starts today. Set your clocks ahead.

Well, the Dining Car has arrived and it's time for breakfast.

Y'all have a great Sunday.

Now Mr. Fife, you are in for some grief. Disapprove [V]Evil [}:)]  I have you to know thqt Hickory NC is the furniture capitol of the world [unless Vitenam takes over Grumpy [|(]].  88 could actually go to Hickory and buy it cheaper but shipping might be more.

Ready to go to the store.  Dennis had told me that the CTT cars and truck were out for ordering.  John gave us the site to click on.  Thanks guys.

Roy, you might get everything washed away this afternoon with storms [hope not].  Colin, prayers for G'Dad.  Glad to see someone got Sunday Photo started.  Hope Tom gets his computer going again.

Home this evening.  3 hour drive.  Have a great day.

Good Afternoon, Sorry I couldn't get with you this morning, had to get to church and then to Sunday dinner with the family.  I didn't sleep too well last night and so I am tired.  Going to take a little nap before heading back for evening church as I am on the main camera and it doesn't allow for mistakes.

Picked up some CRC spray at Home Depot, hope to do a little motor cleaning and lube tonight.  I am glad you guys can't see this........my 2yo daughter is trying to put my wife's shoes on my feet.  She got a bit frustrated and then tried to put a necklace around my ankle.  Oh the joys of fatherhood.

I am off call starting tomorrow at 7am, so I hope to be done early and then get some more layout work done.  I have to catch up with the Chief.

Hope Y'all have a great day and week.

What a beautiful day in Buckeyeland, where it is clear and 52 degrees.

Again, glad to be home.  Slept good last night in my own bed.

Ran trains for about an hours.  An MTH O-27 passenger car kept shorting out as it was moving through a switch.  No other cars of the same type had the problem, and it was an MTH switch.  The wheels are out of gauge and it is hitting the movable rail.

Over the course of time on the forum, you begin to pick up some little things.  One thing I have noticed over time is how many own the Lionmaster SD80 w/ TMCC.  Mine is a work horse and if you read the postings, it seems that this engine is working hard out there.  Everything works; lights, sound, and smoke.  The cruise works perfectly as it takes a string of cars up and down the grades.  The horn will blast you out of the room.

Still awaiting my track order.

Dr. John, I have a wedding in Alabama this fall. Montgomery to be exact.  Nephew is calling his bachelor party days quits.

CTT truck has been ordered.  I was think how I could make stacks of magazines for inside the truck.  I am thinking of using my office paper shredder and letting it cut thousands of little pieces.

Have a great day!

and I will see you down the tracks.

Had unexpected company. Niece and son. Nice visit.

Watching the NASCAR race. Only ran trains today for an hour or so. Ordered the CTT truck. Now, I'll have the 10 and 20 year trucks. Until later.

Vincent, AL is southeast of Birmingham, about an hour north of Prattville. Not too far at all. And, no, you don't have to go through NC to reach Vincent, although I'm sure it would be a more scenic route to take!

Good evening all,

It was a beautiful day in SE Indiana with temps in the 60s.  We worked outside a lot after church.  I washed the van and then we filled up four trash cans full of sticks!!!  I watched a little bit of the NASCAR event, which for once did not have a green white finish.  Saturday night we all just sat around and read books.  It was nice.  I hope everyone had a nice day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana
