Well he made it till 9PM. No rain here either and none in the forecast. We are looking at 90's for awhile. Grass is turning to straw real quick.

Well, I started resurfacing the deck yesterday, got maybe a quarter of the way through it and started getting woozy, so I stopped immediately.  The heat sneaked up on me.  Wow.

Be careful out there folks!

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & '76 along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  Might head up to the lake later on.  Wifey and I watched movie The Healer last night.  If you need a pick-me-up, check it out.

Fifepup and his gal are touring around SC this week.  He's still trying to impress her to move around Lake Murray.  Wedding plans for November '21.  He starts a new marina job on Monday, back in FLA.

Wifey has Fifedom back to normal, post grandsons' visit.  My buddy Tom was supposed to stay with us this week, but he had a dental emergency crop up.  So he'll try again in a week or two.

The RR made front page news.  It's been an up-and-down week (and it's only Wednesday).  Changes may be needed.

Anywho, just glad the calendar has changed.  I like July.

Happy Hump Day - WOW FIRST PAGE!!!!

Miserable day yesterday, Had to layoff 3 guys at end of day (they were furloughed) and changed the status of 2 more (from in shop to in home, they were also furloughed and will return 7/13/20).  All last minute.  Worked til 5.  A multitude of issues/problems/programming, just nuts.  I'll be sitting back today and seeing what is going to happen, just absolute craziness yesterday and Monday.

Mom went out for a ride to the post office then we wound up at Jenni's house and I brought Jenni dinner.  Mom is doing much better!!  Thanks for the prayers, guys!! Stayed until 8 ish, stopped by my house to get something and checked in with my Princess and her and Mom had a quick chat.  Started on the road runner model, converting a 1:48 McDonalds Edition coupe to a convertible.  I cut the top off and cleaned up the cuts near the Dutchman panel (near trunk, lol) .  Later, I have to run the Mercer County Fireman's Association meeting in West Trenton.  The President is out with bladder cancer. I plan to leave early and put more money down on my K4s PRR w/TMCC, if not just buy it outright.  I think I'm spending more on trains stuff as of late, bought 4 tankers for $50 from NY Electric Trains last week.  4 Sunoco and 1 Mobil.

Showers today, 80's and then cooler for the weekend and drier.

Then to go to Walley World to pick up some groceries.

That's the plans so far for today

Kevin I have the ZTE AVID 559. Unless you want to pay extra make sure to tell them you don't want to receive text and you want text and blocked. It's called there connect plan, and they charge you an extra $5 a month. now it's advisable to take the unlimited talk plan for a extra $5 a month.

Is ZTE the provider or phone RT? I will have to look that phone up. Tks,

I want to go with Counsumer Cellular for the provider. Just want to know about phones. Yes

Kevin Phone, Provider is Consumer Cellular. I have them, Donna has a line and I have a line and I added unlimited talk for $5 and my bill is like $43 $ 44 a month. If I wanted text and all it would be $5 plus the tax for that.

Hello there,

sad news today. Jeb, the toddler passed away this afternoon. Thanks for all your prayers. Please more Prayers for his parents, his Mom is 7 months pregnant. Times like these make our issues seem trivial.

Thanks again

Oh, COVID-19's real all right.  I haven't lost anyone, but the proprietor of a train shop I enjoyed going to on my trips north, "The Old And Weary Car Shop" in Tappan NY, was carried off by the virus in April.  Sad, very sad.  I can't say I knew him well but he was a very friendly guy who treated everyone who came in the shop like an old friend.

He was a widower, his wife died of cancer two years previously.  Maybe he just didn't want to go on anymore.

I don't know what's going to happen with the shop. It was a fun place to visit.

I have a cousin who is one of the lucky ones if you want to call it that. She had gotten it, but thanks to some good doctors she has survived it but is still nowhere near where she was health-wise before this hit her.

Mornin' boys.  Sunny & 65 along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  We will be gardening today, so hopefully will be done by noon (and the heat).

Wifey and I took that drive yesterday.  Took a Cake to my folks for stepdad.  Then headed up to Deep Creek.  Picked up garden supplies from Lowes, ate at the Green Turtle, then circled around the lake itself.  It was a lovely day.

Angel to all in need.

KEV, just pulling your leg.

Banks, prayers.  Hard to loose a little one.

Probably mow.

Enjoy your day.

Again, sincere condolances.

Friday Eve -

Was better yesterday, I got sort of a breather, still had some issues, however, everything was more manageable and I punched out at 3:00

Mailed out a box, then got my stuff together for my meeting.  Stopped at Trains and Things - got my 2 road runner box cars (1 is a gift) and FINALLY my K4 #3678 TMCC equipped engine.  Very happy, my budget is busted, but I have my K4 !!!  Just need a PRR T1 Duplex and I'll be done (and that is a $2000 engine!)

Meeting went very well, about 25 showed up.  I might be able to  run this show for 3 years if I am elected in December, but that's a ways down the road.

Stopped briefly at Jenni's for a quick dinner then home by 1030.  My sister stepped in to hang with Mom.  Mom has decided to get the valve in her heart replaced, she tired of being sick.  Rather than wait on the valve repairing itself, she just wants it done.

90 ish later, rained and thunder last night.  Better weather for the weekend - I'll be shopping for food and fireworks later.

Banks - Condolences to the family, that truely is sad

That's all from here

Well, yesterday had signed up to run on 7/10 with great anticipation.Today that bubble was burst, received an e-mail with all the rules, regs, etc. that volunteers/operators are required to meet to have access to the museum. I met all of the requirements except one. If you have a temp, to be taken before entering, of 100* or more you can not enter. Unfortunately with my immunotherapy for the cancer I have a temp quite frequently of 100*+ but not 101* or greater. So me can no go, could probably let it slide a little but with only two operators allowed should I go and get turned away it would leave one person all alone. That ain't acceptable in my book, period.

Kev get a iphone, check the websites of the different phone companies look for a new but several years old model for a good price. iphones are made with quality componets and work good. Many people have them so can help you with questions.

Dennis, I was thinking maybe a iphone 7 new. They are like $200.00 cash. What one do you have?

Been a mad house today, Two grandchildren and their dog. Picked them up at 7:30 and Been running my Butt off since. Thank God for Songe Bob. I get a break. Laugh

Back at it.
