Good evening all,
Test post as people were mentioning trouble. Will see if this posts ok. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,

Chief - Unfamiliar with that signage. Where was it posted? Old whistle posts used to have dashes and dots on them, but that looks modern.
Morning all.
Nothing new here. Just a quick fly-through to say hi.
Good morning team!
Cloudy again today and some drizzle in store. Git a nice gentle rain/drizzle most of the afternoon yesterday. No significant rain, but made the lawn happy. Some areas around the metroplex got 2 - 4 inches. We are headed into surprisingly below norm daytime temps (high 80's/low 90's) for the next two weeks. Happened last year also - but night temps (typ 75) were above normal.
Got new plugs and wires installed in the El Camino yesterday. Difficult job due to some surprises and normal access issues to the plugs due to heat shields and other junk in the way. Regardless, got it done - took about 5 hours. Today I will finish the heater hoses/heater block valve and the radiator flush. Will try to get to the passenger door trim reassembly.
Regards, Roy
Happy Hump Day!!Had Taco Bell dinner at Jenni's house with Mom. was a nice visit.Pulled the K4 out of the box and ran it on my test track at Mom's for a bit. No smoke, I'm wondering if it was reset with TMCC, I'm just running conventional right now, TMCC/Legacy is on my layout at my house, so there is no way to check that right now. I LOVE the sounds, runs very well.Roy - the joys of SBC - - Hemis have no issues with plug removal - My Big Block has a few challenges but the Chrysler engineers, God Bless them, put in "windows" in the fender wells so you can get to those rearward spark plugs......90s again today, have to run to the post office and mail off the last vestiges of my prior relationship. Doubtful I'll get anything back from her.It is eerily quiet so far, I'm thinking there is something crazy afoot...... PS - I looked at that OGR post for MTH - that Bill guy must have NO LIFE whatsoever - OMG, he's depressed cuz Mike is his hero and he shouldn't retire? Move on MTH boy, there are other thing more important than this - I will, however, look at the auction, first of which is the showroom items. Should be a barn burner, lol

Afternoon. had my first tax appeals board meeting this AM. Actually a meeting in person [has to be by state law].
We got over 2" of rain late yesterday and night. More guessed for today.
Fifey, along an BNSF tracks somewhere out west. ?? Rifle forum guy photoed it. Asked if I knew. I was guessing three blasts of the horn but that was a guess.
Have a good one.

Good Evening,
For those of you participating in the high tech meetings, do you find that they are more effective or productive than the old "conferance room" type? I would thing they could be due to not having all the "off topic" conversations that typically occurs. But then there is also not having the "body communication" not happening either. Hmmm
All my tests at the VA are done and analyized, scheduled for Kidney stone surgery on Friday. Apparently there are 3 stones of concern, procedure doesn't sound too bad, but it is what it is. I'm glad they decided to do it Fri as opposed to Mon or Tue.. As it turns out the Dr is very highly recognized, and I even like him. AND its going to be on an "out-patient" basis, which is great.
Not much else going on, the News sure is depressing, sure wil be glad when everything normalizes again.
Dinner ready got to run.
Take care all and be safe!
Don
Buddy lives in Montana. CP train going by screaming to climb grade video sent to me by text. He thinks its a grade warning.
Don, highly recognized Dr. Yes on a poster at the PO.
Prayers all will be OK.
Off to bed.
Don, You didn't mention the surprise participants that may pop up on the screen. Children, current or grand, pets and can't forget spouses.
Chief, Wonder if the surgeon will autograph his work.
They are talking about reopening the museum on the 31st. Can't go to school, eat in a restaurant (carry out or patio only and that has a really broad definition) and on and on and on. Does that make any sense ?

Wow, quiet here this a.m.
Morning all
No real plans for today. Did get more work on shed done yesterday which was a plus. Getting close to where I can put a few things in, and see how things are going to fit. I really want to get workbench and the 7' cabinet in there and out of the train room. That's the two biggest things. Train wise waiting for parts to complete the one D&RG change over to electro-couplers. The other one, I'm not sure If I want to pull it out of it's sealed box and change over or not just yet. I will have all the parts shortly. Yahoo site is working one moment and not the next. They seem to be having problems this a.m. 78* suppose to got 87* today. That is a nice cool down from what we have been having. But suppose to start going back up tomorrow. Calling for storms the next few days thru Wednesday of next week. Well time to take my meds and have something to eat. Happy birthday Don.B, Buckeye has too many to know when it's real or not, Happy birthday just in case
Mornin' boys. Sunny & 75 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Fifedom was visited by a mangey bear overnight (twice, according to trail cam). Kinda looks like a werewolf. The boys were excited. Speaking of the grandsons, they are going home today, as Grandmom and Pops have been granted clemency for good behavior...
In the train room, Sam the semaphore man is on strike. Something about being "summonsed too much", and the signal tossed its red lens (which I can't seem to find...).
FifeMom trending downhill, slowly. She's anxious.
V8Vega I had to log in and was able to.
I had to log in and was able to.
Dennis, it's being able to log out that folks are having an issue with, but it is what it is. Just have to live with it.
82 and some clouds. No rain like guessed. Rain yesterday evening late. We have plenty for a few days. Total about 2.75".Got haircut and then met GF Relator for lunch. Actually picked her up in a subdivision 3 miles from her home. She was doing her daily walk. Cobb salad with two honey mustards and sweet ice tea. We were the only couple in that restaurant. We were there a little over 2 hours and finally 3 ladies came in and sat at a table across the restaurant. How do they make money? Got 2 new watch batteries and a extra big deer feeder battery a lot cheaper than Tractor Supply ones.Out early to deliver produce boxes tomorrow.Stay well and safe.
For Fifemom
Dennis, you sure picked a HOT day to be painting! Just be careful, the heat can sneak up on you!
Heard there were 60 aftershocks from this mornings quakes!
Thanks for the Birthday wishes!
Mornin' boys. 70 with passing in the Potomac Highlands. Local sporting goods store having sale on jeans, so I'll venture over there afterwhile.
Grandsons are back home. The curly-top enjoyed the train room the most, and his brother enjoyed running trains on the big carpet loop. Oldest boy jumped out of his seat for joy when he saw his mommy. Wifey and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and a little shopping at Michael's, before heading back to WV. Enjoyed having them, and equally enjoyed handing them back.
Dougnotta - Thanks.

Chief - Howzabout some progress pics, from the infamous train box, on SPF?
Hey, Good Morning and TGIF
Raining here and looks to be a wash out for the day.
Probably taking Mom to the doc in a few, she's not feeling it today.
Ran out to a cruise night with Jenni had dinner in the parking lot, it was a nice albeit slightly humid night. Tony from my train store was there (Trains and Things) with his Vette and his son brought his new Camaro.....
If nothing else and Mom is better, will head to Jenni's to put up some of her miniature china closets and get the dining room cleared up. That'll complete the downstairs and just need to arraign the upstairs, clean and purge as required.
Tomorrow will be housework at Mom's as it's supposed to rain any how and Sunday with Jenni and we'll fiure out an activity to get done. Might cut the from grass, it's on a slope and the push mower is a POS that only I can get started.
Last day o da month, Hope to get on the NEW AUGUST pot tomorrow (or tonight, lol!!!)
Afternoon folks!
Cool front last night produced some boomers but only a sprinkle of rain. We will run below normal highs for next week or so. Fine by me!
Got the rest of anything I pulled off the El Cam reinstalled - completed the passenger door panels install this morning. Next step is to put some new AC parts on and see if we can rescue it. At least we will find out what is good and bad. Flush everything, install new flex lines, accumulator, and orifice tube, purge and charge. Will not be surprised if I have to buy a new compressor. Gonna try this tomorrow depending on availability of a buddy with a flush kit and vacuum pump. Otherwise may put it off awhile. Possibly take a couple weeks break from the repairs saga.
Dennis - glad you got your front end repainted like you wanted!
Forgot to mention - sorta appropriate that I have the Motor Trend channel Roadkill on while working...
Produce boxes delivered. Temps over 100 on weather station. Heat warning today. Will get up hoses and mow later when temps drop a little. Got a big roast, potatoes, carrots, onions and celery cooking in crock pot [started this AM before leaving as Wifey working today]. Had two hotdogs for lunch from food trailer buddies up town. Biggie TV station weather guessers will have a heart attack if the hurricane does NOT hit NC. Why do you name a hurricane something no one can pronounce? Was going to work on another siding in layout but UPS notified me shipment was late.Enjoy the day.
Don't see a new pot, think I'll go do it.
dbaker - Apparently, great minds think alike!
