If you don't use it much get a gas one.

Gasoline with weedwacker oil in it will keep a very long time. Even into the next season. The oil has stabilizer in it. Just Mix a 1/2 gallon at a time. Batteries will need constant charging or run dead just when you need them.

If you don't have a problem buying off of ebay, take a look at the following link.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/String-Trimmers-/71277/i.html?Brand=Weed%2520Eater&_dcat=71277&Power%2520Source=Corded%2520Electric

I have no knowledge regarding the battery powered ones.

Good luck, swede

Dennis, If you don’t have a lot of yard a battery one should be fine. I have had very bad luck with battery life on power tools and the replacement batteries cost about that the tool does. Made to throw away. I have way to much for a battery one and have a Stihl gas one.

Well we had a pump fail in the basement again Sunday night causing the third wet floor since we moved into the house 7 & ½ years ago and the train layout is in the basement. Bang Head Called the plumber Monday and never got a call back. So I am installing a battery back-up sump pump. $470.48 later I think I have everything I need to get it done.  After I get everything,,,,who called????  Laugh  I will work on this job tomorrow. Can’t guess what the plumber would want to do it and I will take my time and get it the way I want it.

Have a good day.

Fifedog my name is Dean Watson and I don't post very often to the forum, not sure if I ever have posted to the pot. Just wanted to say "thank you" for the very difficult job you are asked to do. Prayers are with you that your last two weeks will be much better than this last one so you can get to your well earned retirement. May God keep you safe sir.

Good evening all,

Fifedog, take care of yourself and make it these next 2 weeks.  Thinking of you muchly.  Got to see nieces play soccer last night.  Rang the cow bell a lot in 7-0 win.  Work was ok the last 2 days.  Got stuff for the mini tonight.  Weather should be ideal tomorrow.   Lionel Christmas catalog comes out tomorrow.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Hello there,

My 2 cents while trying to relax and go to sleep. .........

Fife. .......hope you're still on the bridge. Either way be careful, there are some crazies out there. Found out last evening that PA State Trooper friend of mine may be heading your way along with his National Guard son.

John....glad mom is improving.

Mrs lost her oldest brother last Saturday. We knew he was not good but didn't expect him to pass. Her sister looks like death warmed over. Not sure how long she has.

Gonna try again to sleep

Prayers for those in need.

Fifedog, glad to hear that you're OK.  Prayers for you and your colleagues.  We've been through this in L.A. too in the past and hope it stays there.

Where is the May forum?  Maybe this will start it.

Ray
