Hey the Silverado is still in my garage. The banks were closed today so they told me to keep it in the hope I would take the bate. I do think I will buy it.
V8 Hope your glad RIJack has cleared everything up for you, according to his narrow view of the world. He needs to be pushed off of the now and then. BTW never tie your dog up in the car. A loose dog is a secondary air bag when you get in a wreck, even better if your dumb enough to let it sit in your lap. After all if they are hungry and you die they will eat you. Ask any cat.
No train news, Been working with the 401 K folks to unlock some $$$ to reduce the loan i will need to get this new ride.
I got a love letter from the digestive health care folks Friday, Seems it is time for another COLONOSCOPY.
You guys have a good one.
P.S. Can't wait to see Jacks over informative reply.
Bob, yes where is Joe D?????? My only VW was a 1959 split rear window Bug but I think my three 914s were mostly VW guts.

Good evening...
Now that I got that out of the way, I can say it actually was a good day here..got to see some people I have not seen in a few YEARS here and we jibber-jabbered about all sorts of stuff...including cleaning out septic tanks.......which a neighbour of ours is having to do sometime this week...think I'll be busy on that day...

Afternoon/Evenin' All.
Pretty pooped tonite, finished setting up new mailbox this morning after a good start yesterday with pouring a base. Also planted a couple flats of groundcover on the slope behind the house, probably end up being a salad bar for the gophers. As steep as that hill is I felt like a mountain goat, as opposed to just being an old goat, trying to maintain a foothold and not slip slide away.

Good evening all,
IIABSDISEI with temps in the 50s. Mowed the yard and had the oil changed on 2 vehicles today. Did some errands as with the "saucy wench". Good day. Still have lots to do. TBIL, but I think someone else will have to drive. Some of the passengers were complaining about all the barrel rolls. I hope everyone has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana
Hey Guys....
busy busy busy...work and firehouse stuff. Cleaned up my rooms yesterday and Saturday was town day after work. Longs days.
Have another trip to Radnor, PA .... another interview. I was initially snubbed when I submitted my app, but I blew a gasket and sent a terse replay which got my interview. Group of 7 of us 1 position. Should be interesting. If they tell me I'm slow on the computer again, I'll scream. Just tired of living hand to mouth...
Neon is going back to it's original owner this week....I've worn it out and since I can't keep it and invest $100's in it, he's getting it back. Pulsar and wagon are on the clock next....
Probe- nice call on the shortys...
Nice shelves, Ray....I'll have to get a picture of my stuff in bins.....75% of my stuff is marked Lionel..., the rest is die cast funny cars, dragsters and pro stocks....and the occasional fire fighter figurine...
Happy Anniversary s to all I've missed....and for those in need. I hace to go swap out my BIL's Miata (which I've been using) and go get the neon. I have to park it at work overnight for my rental car tomorrow.
Check ya later!!!!!

Spank,
Continued for Tyler and the rest of the family.
Ray,
Now I know where all the 3/16" O went.
Rich,
I just have to get the $$ together for the shortys. Hoping to have them in time for Christmas. Not looking forward to the install though.
Applied for some jobs and listed some stuff tonight. Tried to list the 2245s, but I just can't let go yet.
Spanky - prayers continue for Tyler. This is a tough time, when they lose their immunity, but just be careful like they tell you. We were too keep the area clean, keep visitors to a minimum, and use hand sanitizer, etc.
AF53 - AWESOME picture! Love it!
8NT - Belated Happy Anniversary! Ours is in August, 18 years and going strong
RIJ - Yeah, it became a decision of priority - nice big backyard that I want or finished house that will benefit us all, and a new layout that I want
Man, just seems like this weekend shot by - was feeling under the weather and didn't really do much, but I did get some time to read, watched some tv shows I like, and talked to some friends on the chat thingie. My son and I finished our videogame that we have been playing, too
SJ can drive tonight - no rolls, but lots of loop-d-loops I'm sure!
RIP Chewy - best dog I ever had.
Sunny and 60's today.
I plan on taking some pictures of the halloween layout when I get it set up at the museum on Saturday.
Got the shell of my caboose project primed yesterday. Now to work through the three color paint job. Going to try some liquid mask type product on this one.
All for now.
Good Morning
We are seeing a mix of sun and cloud today with little tiny sprinkles here and there...high of 55F expected...
Today is a busy one...have a friend who is having some issues with his project car, a 1957 Ford Vicky...need to see what the issue is..then off to see doctor about some new prescriptions..again...sigh...then off to diner down the street from here to meet the gang....then off to Wally World to find a new thing or two...we never know about these things...
Good Morning from Blueberryhill RR....
It is cold outside. 32 degrees. Going up to 64 with sunshine.
Today is an easy day. I have a few chores to do and then I will relax and do some reading. Still waiting for some parts to come so I can finish the repairs on my FM Trainmaster.
Dining car is here with Cheerios for breakfast.
Y'all have a great Tuesday.
Chuck
Mornin' boys. Mornin' English. Grey & 48 here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Chatty bunch: 7 pages since I posted Saturday morning. It was a pleasant anniversary (7th) weekend in WV. Wifey and I scouted out our new home site (deal not finished yet, but looking great). Pulled out the uke and sang Baby I Love Your Way (Frampton). Was a good night... Spent Sunday morning attending church where we got married, then the afternoon visiting my parents up on the mountain. Nice easy drive back home yesterday, just in time to watch O's even the series.
Well the sun is coming up so that is a good thing.
DJ. prayers for Tyler.
Fife, sounds like a great anniversary. I have to come up with something fast for ours on the 25th.

Hi GUYZ,
45 here this morning going up to 61. Started with dog walking then run this morning. Now for a little weight training. Gotta do some stuff with the pond later this afternoon.
Stay frosty my friends,
laz57
Good morning. It's 47° with 99% humidity. It'll be partly cloudy with a high of 78°.Cool outside this morning but still no heater required inside. Nothing special on the agenda today except to stay out of the cool air as much as possible.
Aloha! Prayers for Tyler. You really have this down, DJ. It's good to know the phases. Praying for your job interview Rich! And a Happy Anniversary to Fife and his bride. (Kev, you gotta get started on your planning ) Nice ride on the TARDIS last night. Got to ride in an ancient bi-level coach on the commute in - former C&NW dating from the 1950s but with new seats. Non-stainless-sides. Not many of these around anymore. A nice start to the day.
It's 39 and sunny, going to 61.
I have a few errands this morning then my couch visit later. DIL and her mother will be making funeral arrangements today. They are still waiting for the body to be sent from Fla. We are thinking Thur. and Fri. funeral. Loop-D-loops were fun last night, no pileups. I finished CTT yesterday, you gotta read this one it's a winner...S.J.
Fife - Happy Anniversary!
Spanky & HudsonJohn - PMs sent
Cold and rainy here on the banks of the Delaware River 50F now
Drove the neon hybrid in today....running on battery power with gas assist....
Not much else I can think of......brain lock.....
Back later!
Mornin' FellasSpanky - continued prayers for Tyler!Fife - Happy Anniversary!Well I was able to get into the trainroom this past weekend and get the transition track from level 1 to level 2 about 90% complete. Still need to cut and install the ceiling tiles and then put the foam subroadbed down and secure it all with screws... this weekend for sure. I also got the last adjustment made on the main level track and will install the ceiling tiles and foam subroadbed on that track as well. That will mean I can then build and scenic the 'open' tunnel and get the superstructure built for the last remaining mountain... should have all that done this weekend and may be able to start building the last mountain. Will definitely get some pics posted. I need 6 tapered walls for around the bridge abutements. I have 2 concrete wings and two cut stone wings. I'm thinking of using the cut stone wings on the abutements for the girder bridge (have to get one more set) and use the concrete wings on the abutement for the truss bridge... just not sure it will look right or if I should just buy 2 more cut stone wing sets... will post pictures.----Christina Update----Last night we were playing chase and I got ahead of her and hid behind a tall chair in our living room. As she came around I popped out and said 'BOO!'. She gave a screatch and had a truely frightened look on her face, then she started to cry and said 'Dada did it.' I picked her up, gave her a hug, and told her I was sorry... she gave me a kiss! Later she was playing her toy piano and stopped, put her hands up by her ears and rocked back and forth, then scruntched her hands. We were trying to figure out what she was doing. When I dropped her off at daycare this morning I asked her teacher and she said 'OH! (chuckle) She was doing The Hokie Pokie! Is is one of her favorite song and dances.' Now, of course, getting a video of said song and dance is next to impossible...
Good Morning,
Prayers for Tyler!
Had a good day yesterday, was quite busy due to the holiday. Was doing 5 trips an hour most of the day, simply "Load and Go", made the day go by quickly. Took desert over to Inlaws and had a nice visit.
In case some are interested the "Hell on Wheels", has 2 episodes doing a encore run, tomorrow. May want to set the DVR, its on A&E. Also Trains & Locomotives is running an episode on Narrow Gauge, the first installment featured the DRG, and had Goose #7, and # 4, Was interesting looking forward to next part.
Looks like rain may be on the horizon will be interesting to see how much we actually get.

Nice looking truck you got Kev.
Home from the lake house. Chilly and misty. Real Yankee weather. Shot rifles and shot rifles. Well, Fred did. Can't do good with a $5 scope. He'll never learn. Also, he needs to take those vanity contacts, throw them away and get a good pair of glasses.
KEV has a Chevy. Now I have one thing I can agree with Kev on. Is there anything else? ???? Oh well. Really good looking ride there.
Prayers for Tyler.
Brent, wrap wrap wrap [she has you Dad]. Like I said all along. She could have not found a better home and parents. God bless.
Off to ribbon cutting.
